fighting.
Uchi enjoys the battle.
From birth, he was the most outstanding child in the clan, and no other child could rival him.
Once he grew a little older, he was able to easily defeat adult warriors and even fight carnivorous beasts!
When Uchi reached a young age, the clan's strongest warrior was defeated by him.
Born with superhuman strength and an amazing physique, he seemed to have been blessed by the heavens and born into the Broken Bone Clan. Some adults even regarded him as the "Son of God".
Growing up amidst such praise, Uchi readily accepted this adoration.
He had no reason to refuse.
He led the other warriors on hunts, defeating the wild beasts around the territory and turning them all into food.
He led his warriors to attack the surrounding clans, incorporating one tribe after another into his clan and becoming even stronger.
Although Uchi was still a boy, he had long since become the true leader of the clan.
But at some point, he began to look down on his vulnerable fellow tribesmen.
They were all too weak; he could only leave them behind time and time again, and they were of no use at all.
Uchi was no longer satisfied; his heart was consumed by a hunger that craved even more intense battles.
He began to venture alone into dangerous hunting grounds to chase prey, battling with herds of ferocious beasts, and finally, after enjoying the experience, he would drag his dead prey back to the clan to receive even more praise.
But he couldn't keep up with this for long before he grew tired of it again.
not enough.
It's still not enough.
The battle was never truly satisfying.
By the time he was about to come of age, he had become so powerful that mortals could not comprehend it.
Neither warriors from other clans nor seemingly powerful beasts were a match for him; he could not enjoy the thrill of battle.
So, in the third Fire Month when he began to tire of it all, he went alone to the forbidden land that his clan had passed down through generations, a sacred mountain inhabited by gods.
He wants to challenge the gods.
At the mountaintop, he did not see the gods described in the legends, but only a huge white leopard.
The truth that the mysterious mountain god of this sacred mountain was actually just a white leopard disappointed Uchi, but he was not entirely disappointed either.
Disappointed that even gods are tangible.
I'm thrilled that even gods can fight!
Without much hesitation, Uchi challenged the goddess; he was determined to defeat her!
The battle lasted for three days and three nights. Half of the summit of the sacred mountain was flattened in the aftermath of the battle, and countless animals living on the mountain were killed or injured.
In the end, he defeated the mountain god, the white leopard!
Uchi drove it out of its territory and completely occupied the sacred mountain.
Uchi won!
But he lost too.
I lost completely and have nothing left.
...
...
We lost.
boom!
Covered in blood, Uchi was kicked away again by the goat's hooves and crashed heavily to the ground.
Hearing the cracking of his bones, Uchi knew that this time, he probably wouldn't be able to stand up again.
I am no match for this beast.
"Hahahaha..."
Despite having countless broken ribs, Uchi still burst into laughter at this moment:
"This is what it's like to be alive... cough cough cough, this is what it feels like to be alive!"
He was so happy that he almost cried.
You're crazy.
The black goat spirit coldly stared at Uchi, who was laughing hysterically, and cursed in disgust, trying to shut him up completely, but its front legs buckled and it fell heavily to the ground.
Uchi was indeed seriously injured, but her condition was not very good either.
There was a huge wound on his abdomen from which black blood flowed, pooling into a pool beneath him.
She underestimated her opponent's strength in this state, and even more so, she underestimated her opponent's desire for battle.
Uchi didn't care how much he would get injured; he was fighting a desperate, risky style of fighting, trading injury for injury.
You'll pay the price for your recklessness.
Although it lost its balance, the goat spirit did not fall and managed to regain its balance and stand on the ground.
The wound began to heal rapidly. Although this was only a superficial phenomenon in the mental world, it meant that the injury was gradually weakening and recovering quickly.
Moreover, if it successfully devours Uchi, its injuries will be no problem at all, and that shaman will no longer pose a threat, since she's currently hiding on the edge and doesn't dare to get close...
She raised her giant hoof and stopped on Uchi's head, about to bring it down, but suddenly it landed in another direction!
boom!
"ah!"
Accompanied by the shaman's shrill howl, she revealed her ferocious fangs.
[So you were here after all! You thought you could... um!?]
But just then, a withered arm silently pierced through the goat spirit's flesh along the wound on her abdomen and gently touched her heart.
laugh.
The deadly poison rapidly corroded the beating golden heart, causing her immense pain.
roar!
You damned shaman!
!
"Ahem, hehehe..."
Accompanied by a sneer, the goat-like deity kicked backward with all its might, but failed to kick the shaman.
The opponent is an evil being more cunning than anyone else. The shaman goddess just sacrificed a real witchcraft substitute containing a soul just to be able to launch a successful sneak attack.
"Since you two are better than me, I can only do what I'm best at."
