Alice is trapped.
She is trapped in a distorted world that makes her feel uncomfortable.
The relationship between humans and gods has been completely distorted, with the scales tipping irrationally to one side, as if the world is unreasonably favoring the gods.
Alice knew very well that this relationship was bound to have serious problems sooner or later, and she wouldn't be surprised if it collapsed at any time.
This so-called "golden age of the gods" will suddenly perish one day without any outside intervention.
But those things had nothing to do with her.
It's just putting a big cage inside a small cage; it's nothing.
Even if the gods outside beat their brains out, it wouldn't affect her at all; she could still lie peacefully in her little nest.
This little place is a bit boring, but at least my life and safety don't matter.
So she hid herself and shrank to the edge of the war zone, found a place to start calculating the warp parameters, and planned to leave this world as soon as she finished calculating.

Sitting in the crystal with her knees drawn up to her chest, Alice muttered to herself as she thought of that man.
