Chapter 13 The broken house is leaking

Chapter 13 The broken house is leaking

Mu Xu loves home.

Unless I have to, I either rush home or stay at home.

Sometimes, even though he has a full day of classes, Mu Xu still has to go home at noon.

Even though he had only been at home for less than fifteen minutes the day before because of a traffic jam, he still ignored Lin Jin's suggestion that he should have a good rest at school and rushed home as soon as get out of class was over the next day.

Sometimes Lin Jin would ask when Ms. Qiao and Mr. Mu would return from their business trips. As soon as he asked, Mu Xu would naturally change the subject, diverting Lin Jin's attention elsewhere.

By the time he reacted and wanted to continue asking, Mu Xu had already gone to work.

When Mu Xu goes to work, Lin Jin sometimes video chats with him, but sometimes it gets boring.

Maybe it was influenced by Mu Xu. Some time ago, whenever he was daydreaming, Mu Xu would interrupt him, which resulted in him being unable to continue daydreaming.

So Lin Jin was extremely bored and a little tired of playing with his phone.

He thought about it and decided to clean up the house. After some work, he carried the garbage downstairs.

Maybe the grass in the community had just been cleaned recently. When Lin Jin passed the corner, a burst of fresh grass fragrance came to his nose.

After throwing away the garbage, he walked about five meters and found a mimosa with extremely tenacious vitality in the grass.

In the huge grassland, wild grasses were piled up in a mess, and some were even withered. Only this mimosa had its roots intact, clinging to the soil and growing lushly.

Lin Jin squatted down and rubbed it with his white fingertips.

The mimosa instantly became like a shy little kid, shrinking its leaves little by little.

Lin Jin found it amusing and whispered to Mimosa, "Why don't you come home with me?"

After saying that, he returned home holding the grass. Lin Jin, who had been bored for a long time, suddenly found such a playmate and had a lot of fun.

First, I found a pot for him, then I found watering tools for him, and then I carefully chose a suitable place for him, considering whether there was enough sunlight, whether his clothes were large enough for his roots to grow, and so on.

This whole afternoon was spent on this.

The phone he put aside was flooded with calls, conversations, videos, and messages one after another, with increasing frequency.

All of them show the caller's anxiety.

This was the first time that Mu Xu called Lin Jin and he didn’t answer.

At first he thought Lin Jin had fallen asleep, but after video calls and phone calls, and not receiving any reply for a long time, Mu Xu's heart, which had finally been put at ease, was lifted up again.

It never rains but it pours.

He had a full afternoon class and was rushing home after class, but he encountered a traffic accident ahead and was stuck in traffic for more than 40 minutes.

When he got home, Mu Xu's palms were already sweating.

It was a little after seven o'clock and it was completely dark.

Mu Xu quickly opened the door and walked into the house without changing his shoes. When he raised his eyes, he saw Lin Jin standing barefoot at the innermost part of the balcony with his back to him.

A little further out is an endless abyss.

Mu Xu's eyes suddenly turned red, and his voice trembled: "Lin Jin!"

Lin Jin turned around, and the faint smile on his lips froze instantly when he saw Mu Xu's expression. He didn't know why Mu Xu looked so nervous and scared.

But my heart suddenly felt like it was being gripped by a hand, and it ached terribly.

Lin Jin quickly let go of the mimosa leaves and walked quickly to him: "What's wrong?"

Only then did Mu Xu see the extra plants on the balcony and suddenly realized what he had misunderstood.

But the fear still swallowed him up forcefully.

Mu Xu's eyes were red as she hugged Lin Jin aggrievedly, suddenly exerting force as if she wanted to carve him into her bones.

Lin Jin felt so distressed that he raised his hand to stroke his head and asked softly, "Who bullied our teacher Mu?"

"Cellphone." Mu Xu buried her head in his neck and said, "You didn't reply to my messages and didn't answer my calls. I thought something happened to you."

After hearing this, Lin Jin realized that he was the bad guy.

He has always disliked noise and always kept his cell phone on silent mode. However, he was bored recently and basically kept his phone with him all the time, so he didn't think there was anything wrong with it.

Now that this happened, Lin Jin realized that there was a new person in his life.

Maybe you should turn off the silent mode on your cell phone.

Lin Jin patted Mu Xu's back apologetically and said, "I'm sorry, I scared you."

"Don't be sorry." Mu Xu hugged him tightly, "Just hug me."

"Um."

Body temperature entanglement.

Lin Jin's waist was a little tight because of the hug, and his chest could only move up and down against Mu Xu's chest.

He tiptoed slightly to make him feel more comfortable in his embrace: "Are you stuck in traffic today?"
