Chapter 13 Luo Mang the Great Conman

Luo Mang felt a tightness in his chest; he was completely devastated by the silver ring today. He helplessly lowered his head, glanced at his adoring little sister who looked utterly bewildered, and sighed to the heavens.

Comparing people is infuriating. Comparing demons is infuriating.

Fortunately, this wasn't the first time he'd met Yin Huan, and he'd gotten used to being kicked in the chest every now and then.

He exhaled, adjusting his mindset. Then he continued explaining cultivation to Yinhuan.

As the sun slowly rose higher, its blazing rays shone through the iron bars into the small room. Most of the day had passed, and Yin Huan had overheard some instructions about cultivation, but... sorry, she didn't understand.

Silver Ring's eyes darted around, full of question marks.

She felt a slight headache!

"It's so complicated to cultivate into a human being!"

Silver Ring looked somewhat dejected. This was far too difficult; she felt that she might not even achieve anything significant before her lifespan came to an end.

A lifetime is so short; if she spends it all on cultivation, how can she enjoy life?

Luo Mang glanced at Yin Huan and, seeing her limp appearance, immediately guessed what was going on in her little head.

He looked up, his eyes sparkling, and then softened his tone to coax, "It's a bit of a hassle, but the benefits are numerous. Look at your brother, I've become human now. Tell me, if I go out like this, those stupid humans outside won't know I'm a snake; they'll just treat me as one of their own. The human world has so much to eat and play with. Once you've cultivated yourself into a human, I'll take you to settle down in the human world."

Yin Huan looked up, asking uncertainly, "Is it really that good to become human?"

Luo Mang puffed out his chest and quickly said, "That's right."

Let's appease this little lazy snake first. Once she's cultivated into a human, we'll see if she's any good or bad for herself.

Luo Mang wasn't worried that Yin Huan wouldn't take the bait. Although this girl was a bit lazy, she was particularly obsessed with enjoying life. As long as he clearly told her that human life was better than snake life, she would definitely succumb to temptation.

Moreover, she is very stubborn; once she sets a goal, she will go all out. Therefore, he is not worried at all that she will give up halfway.

It must be said that Luo Mang knows Silver Ring very well.

Look, just because of his words about enjoying life, Yin Huan traveled all the way down Fuding Mountain.

Yin Huan's interest was piqued by Luo Mang's words. She rested her head on her hand, pondering his suggestion.

Seeing this, Luo Mang pressed his advantage and said, "Cultivation is actually not difficult. You can cultivate while sleeping. It's just that while you're sleeping, you need to think about how to convert the essence of the sun and moon into the energy you need."

He kept talking, trying his best to fool Silver Ring.

In Luo Mang's eyes, cultivation was as natural as eating for Yin Huan.

When she sleeps, the essence of heaven and earth, sun and moon, automatically circulates around her, without her having to consciously activate it.

All she needed to do at the beginning of her cultivation was to refine the essence of the sun and moon she absorbed and then infuse it into her body.

Once this power opens up the meridians, it can be discarded.

Once the meridians are unblocked, the essence of the sun and moon will be transformed on its own.

For demons, the difficulty of cultivation lies in getting started. Once they pass this hurdle, they can cultivate on their own while eating and sleeping.

Yin Huan looked up at her brother, who had gained two extra legs, her big eyes filled with envy.

She carefully considered the gains and losses after cultivating, and finally made up her mind, nodded her head sharply, and said, "Okay, I'll cultivate with you."

Luo Mang's eyes flashed with joy. He smiled, transformed into a snake, and then stretched out his big tail to pat the little body of the silver ring with satisfaction.

As if he had thought of something, Luo Mang suddenly paused in his tail-patting motion, and a hint of unease appeared in his sinister eyes.

I was so busy explaining cultivation to her that I forgot about the important matter.

"Little sister, for the time being, you should stay in this house and not go out unless absolutely necessary... Once I think of a way, I'll take you away from here." Luo Mang considered for a moment and decided to tell Yin Huan the truth.

He was unaware of the zoo's specific situation, which led him to end up in prison.

This place is indeed suitable for her to hide from her enemies, but it is still a prison, and it is not appropriate for Silver Ring to cultivate here.

Yin Huan looked up at Luo Mang with some confusion: "Why are you leaving?"

Luo Mang: "This isn't an ordinary zoo, but a demon prison specifically for imprisoning demons. The man who captured you the day before yesterday is named Huo Fei. His true form is an eagle, a notorious powerful demon in the demon realm. That guy is a traitor; he betrayed the demon race. According to the tiger demon next door, he, as a powerful demon, defected to humans and became a demon hunter who specifically opposes our demon race. This demon prison is under his jurisdiction..."

Luo Mang told Yin Huan about the situation in the monster prison in one breath, and then reminded her again: "Remember, never provoke him."

After hearing Luo Mang's words, Yin Huan stared at the astonished snake eyes and stammered, "What, a monster prison..."

Monster prison, monster prison... She and her older brother have actually been imprisoned in the monster prison!

Silver Ring raised its snake body, glanced at the tightly closed iron gate, and said, "Brother, let's run!"

She's not very bright and doesn't understand much else, but she has heard others talk about prisons before.

It is said that all those who go to prison are bad people who have done bad things; in other words, all the demons locked up in prison are bad demons.

Many years ago, she had heard a woodcutter in the mountains say that life in prison was terrible; there was no food or water, and people would whip you. If you didn't behave well, you could be sent to fight on the frontier.

Waaah, she doesn't want to be beaten, she doesn't want to go to war.
