Chapter 21 Silver Ring Unleashes a Powerful Move

The night wind howled, just like Hei Xiong's current state of mind, icy cold.

As a demon who solves everything with force, this was the first time Hei Xiong had ever gone through the trouble of coaxing a little kid. After several failures, his golden heterochromatic eyes drooped slightly, and he looked somewhat dejected.

What if this little girl doesn't take the bait?

A group of demons who had been watching the spectacle were also getting anxious.

Silver Ring is key to their escape from prison; they can't rest easy without letting her try digging the hole herself.

But no matter how anxious they were, it was no use. They were too far from where Silver Ring was, and the only way to lure her out was through Black Xiong, who was separated from her by a wall.

Even the usually lazy He Bai wagged his tail faster. He narrowed his tiger eyes, staring intently at the silver ring.

His gaze was so dangerous that Silver Ring, lying on the ground, tensed up and immediately went on guard.

Tigers are hailed as the king of beasts.

He Bai is the king of tigers. His calm, emotionless gaze inexplicably sends chills down people's spines, and no demon can withstand it.

Don't be fooled by the harmonious relationship among the demons in prison; it's because they all know that they're all in the same boat right now, and no matter how much trouble they cause, they won't get out of prison.

Nevertheless, all the demons harbored a deep sense of dread towards He Bai. Whenever this guy became impatient, the prison would automatically enter a strange period of peace, and no one dared to cause any trouble.

Silver Ring's senses were always sharp, and she immediately sensed danger the moment He Bai's gaze fell on her.

She straightened up, her heart trembling, and her tail thumped on the ground behind her, indicating her anxiety.

Luo Mang, who was casually eating nearby, also sensed the strange atmosphere in the air. He quickly finished his food, and with a flick of his snake tail, he immediately scooped up the silver ring and hid it under his belly.

"Hiss—He Bai, what do you want to do?" Luo Mang looked up, his cold eyes fixed on He Bai.

"Hmph—let that girl dig a hole and see what happens," He Bai said, stating his purpose directly.

"Why should I? If you want to dig a hole to escape, do it yourself," Luo Mang sneered.

"Roar—don't be stubborn and refuse to listen to reason." He Bai roared in a low voice, his tiger-like howl full of threat.

"So what if I'm punished? Come and bite me if you dare!" Luo Mang said dismissively. He wasn't afraid of He Bai at all; with the cage blocking his way, who was afraid of whom?

Do you really think he's a pushover? Humph, threats? We'll see if he's willing to accept them.

This is a prison. Even if he wanted to bite him, he'd have to lift his own cage first. Without Silver Ring's help, no matter how much trouble these demons cause, it's all in vain.

He Bai was speechless: "You..."

"Hmph!" Luo Mang ignored He Bai's anger, coldly snorted, and showed no intention of compromising.

Luo Mang never intended to push Yin Huan out; they were just a group of demons who had nothing to do with him. Even if Yin Huan were to be fooled by them and agree to help them, he would still stop them.

Yin Huan has a special identity, and before she grows up, she will not let any monsters discover her identity.

Although she has already demonstrated unique abilities by ignoring the prison's array, there is still room for maneuver as long as she doesn't openly expose herself to scheming demons.

The demons imprisoned in the prison were a minority, and their personal freedom was restricted. Even if he had suspicions, he couldn't touch Silver Ring for the time being. Therefore, he wasn't too worried about them.

As for Huo Fei, who governs all the demons... As far as he knew, Huo Fei was naturally Buddhist, so even if he found out Yin Huan's identity one day, the situation wouldn't be too bad. At most, it would just be like now, locking her up in prison and monitoring her at all times.

Given Yin Huan's bloodline and nature, Huo Fei would never dare to attack her.

After much deliberation, if Silver Ring were exposed, this prison would become her best hiding place.

A snake and a tiger stared at each other, locked in a stalemate.

Silver Ring poked its little head out from under Luo Mang's belly and glanced at He Bai, who was separated by a cage.

She spit out her tongue angrily, then slowly crawled out and swam towards the stone wall on the right side of the cage.

The monsters' eyes were fixed on Luo Mang's cage. The moment the silver ring moved, all the monsters saw it.

The gazes were so intense that Silver Ring couldn't ignore them even if she wanted to. She turned around, glared at the demons with her green eyes, then straightened her head and continued crawling forward.

Hmph, she's the eldest brother's little sister, how can she back down?

Don't think she's easy to bully just because she's small. This time, we'll definitely show them what she's capable of.

While thinking about how to teach this ignorant demon a lesson, Yin Huan slowly climbed to the narrow crevice at the foot of the stone wall. She glanced at her target, opened her small mouth, and a stream of clear liquid gushed out from between her two front teeth.

Immediately afterwards, the grass that had just sprouted in the crevice turned from green to black.

After spraying its venom, Silver Ring flicked its tail with satisfaction. It turned around and swam majestically to Luo Mang's side, standing "shoulder" to him.

She held her head high and glared smugly at Blackie and Hebe across the cage.

The scene was somewhat comical.

Two snakes, one large and one small, had perfectly synchronized gazes and expressions, except... their sizes were disproportionately different.

The silver ring was less than a meter long, while Luo Mang was nearly ten meters long. Even with her head raised, it wasn't as tall as the patterns on Luo Mang's body. At first glance, one might mistake it for spots on Luo Mang's skin.

Silver Ring had no idea how bizarre the visual effect she had created was. She proudly raised her head and threateningly flicked her tongue.

Hmph, you little punk, you really think she's a pushover...
