The night was deep, and a gentle breeze swept over Huo Fei, ruffling his pure white casual clothes, much like his state of mind at that moment.
The prison... supposedly the most secure monster prison in the world, was actually breached by a little monster.
For the first time in his life, Huo Fei felt an urge to swear.
Right under his nose, a little demon who had cultivated for less than three hundred years sneaked in.
Huo Fei felt a lot of pain in his face!
He looked up at the starry sky, somewhat incredulous. This prison was surrounded by layers of arrays; how did she manage to get in?
The first time they caught her, they could use her quick wit and the excuse that a human had sneaked in. But what about the second time?
He clearly put this little guy in the river, so how did he end up here again? Doesn't she know this is a prison?
He took a deep breath, calmed himself down, his handsome face hardened, and his aura suddenly surged as he strode straight toward the iron cage.
Just as Huo Fei's powerful aura approached, Luo Mang's swimming body suddenly stopped, its tail unexpectedly sweeping under its belly. Then, arching its belly, it pretended to be nonchalant and slowly swam back to its hut.
He secretly wiped away a cold sweat, thankful that he reacted quickly. If he had been two seconds later, Yin Huan would definitely have been spotted by Huo Fei, who was approaching the iron cage.
Little did he know... all his clandestine actions had already fallen into the sight of Huo Fei, who had already reached the territory of the ferocious beast zone.
Luo Mang tensed up, as did the demons who were rushing wildly on the road to freedom.
They were not like Luo Mang, who possessed a demon core, making his senses far more acute than those of the demons who had lost their cores. Furthermore, this digging operation was already part of his plan. Therefore, sensing something amiss, he retreated in advance.
But the other demons didn't know that...
A group of demons were excitedly digging their cave when the powerful aura of the Great Demon King suddenly wafted through the air. Before they could even turn back to their house, the Great Demon King appeared silently before them.
That's fucking terrifying.
According to their calculations, even if Huo Fei discovered any unusual activity in the beast zone, it would only be after they had successfully dug their tunnel and escaped... But right now, they had barely dug a hole when this guy appeared.
Could it be... that the spider was making too much noise, which is why he got impatient and appeared immediately?
But that doesn't make sense. Back when He Bai went to prison, he caused a lot more trouble than Spider did, but he didn't care then. Why is he meddling in other people's business this time?
A night breeze blew by, and a group of demons, their faces covered in mud, looked completely bewildered.
The digging stopped in perfect unison. They didn't even need to shout commands; they all stood at attention immediately.
Huo Fei arrived in front of a row of iron cages, his brows furrowed, his eyes dark and unreadable. He first glanced at Luo Mang's abdomen before shifting his gaze to the chaotic prison.
The prison was in complete disarray at that moment. Every iron cage was covered in dust, and there was a pile of freshly dug wet soil at the edge of the cage.
Looking around, Luo Mang's cage was the cleanest in the entire prison, but... it was also the most brutal.
Because inside his cage, there were three spider legs that were constantly twitching. And in the iron cage to his left, the situation wasn't much better; the entire floor was covered with black clumps that had been corroded by some unknown substance.
There were more important things to do right now, so Huo Fei temporarily put aside the illegal immigrants in the prison cell and planned to deal with the group of guys who were digging holes first, and then deal with the illegal immigrants later.
As for the spider demon with the broken leg... when he imprisoned her next to Luo Mang, he had considered the possibility of conflict.
"Are you loosening the soil around your cages? Should I go find you some seeds so you can all grow vegetables together? That way you can be self-sufficient and I won't have to provide you with food anymore," Huo Fei said sarcastically, his eyes sweeping over the rows of monsters.
He sensed the strangeness here immediately after the spider made its first sound.
With so many formations being triggered at once, there's no doubt something must have happened here. But he never imagined that these monsters would be so foolish as to dig holes in the ground.
Are they looking down on the intelligence of demon hunters?
The demons remained silent, heads bowed, none uttering a word. They were all praying that Huo Fei would finish his punishment and leave quickly so they could continue digging.
So what if we get caught?
So what?
Anyway, everyone already knows how to get out of the prison. As long as they hurry up and get out of the cage before the exorcist fixes the loophole, they'll be fine.
Once released from its cage, a tiger remains a tiger, and a wolf remains a wolf.
When the time comes, the demons will rise up in force; with so many people, there's no doubt the demon hunters won't be able to subdue them. Perhaps they can even use this opportunity to negotiate with the demon hunters and reclaim their demon cores.
They were captured before because the exorcists were despicable; they ganged up on them...
Hmph, perfect! This time, we can all break out of prison together and get revenge for the gang attack we suffered back then.
Therefore, none of the demons who can cultivate into demonic forms are fools; their minds work incredibly fast. And so, in just a short while, they opportunely changed their plans.
The air of freedom is right in front of us. Even if it means teasing the big devil's tail and getting pecked all over, we must break out of the prison.
"You're not going to talk, huh? Fine, I'll take that as your agreement. Starting tomorrow, I won't provide you with any more food. You'll have to fend for yourselves!" Huo Fei sneered. Since they had so much energy, he figured they could go hungry for a few meals first. Looking back, he saw they still weren't thinking about escaping.
