Chapter 60 The Smell of Blood

Yin Huan's voice was clear and crisp, with a soft, gentle quality unique to girls. It didn't sound threatening at all, but inexplicably, it resonated throughout the entire area.

Not to mention the parking lot, even people at the market heard her shouts.

"Car thief, there, there... In broad daylight, this thief is getting bolder and bolder."

"Go catch the thief! Thieves are hateful!"

Where is the thief?

Hearing the shouts of "Stop thief!", a group of elderly men and women rushed out of the market, eager to teach the thief a lesson. At that moment, no one considered why the little girl's voice was so clear in the noisy market.

Huo Fei had just finished picking up the goods and was about to go to the parking lot to pick up Yin Huan when he heard the familiar voice. He subconsciously frowned.

He squinted, glanced in the direction of the parking lot, and without pausing, strode through the crowd and sprinted towards the parking lot.

He walked with steady steps and disappeared from the market in the blink of an eye.

Inside the parking lot, the two petty thieves, who had failed in their attempt to steal a chicken, miraculously calmed down after seeing Aunt Zhang emerge. These two thieves were probably the most eager to be caught in history.

The old woman finally arrived. If she hadn't come, they would have suspected that they were going to die in the hands of this strange girl today.

Hurry up and arrest them, take them to the police station.

This little girl is too damn weird; they don't want to see her at all. Besides, only by going to the police station will they have a chance to go to the hospital to see about their injured leg.

Thinking of their leg injuries, the two of them couldn't help but shudder: Where on earth did this little devil come from?

Aunt Zhang yelled twice at the top of her lungs, then grabbed Silver Ring, whose tail was still twitching, and ran outside.

She was well aware of her own limitations. The two young thieves were young and vigorous, while she, with her old arms and legs, could only scare them with a few shouts. But when it came to actually catching them, she knew she couldn't possibly defeat them. So, she had to take advantage of the thieves' dazed state and quickly go outside the parking lot to find someone to help her.

Aunt Zhang was too panicked to notice the two young thieves, their faces contorted in pain, and their deformed legs.

The old man and the young man had only run a few steps when they encountered Huo Fei coming from the opposite direction.

"Ah Fei, hurry, hurry, there are two car thieves inside!" Aunt Zhang rushed over to Huo Fei and said anxiously.

β€œYes, they stole your car this morning,” Silver Ring chimed in earnestly, following closely behind.

Aunt Zhang was shocked: "What? Fei's car was stolen by them?"

Silver Ring: "Hmm, I can smell their scent."

Aunt Zhang was a little confused: "You're not a puppy. Oh dear, hurry up, let's catch the thief first, we can't let them get away."

Silver Ring said in a serious tone, "You couldn't escape, I whipped you."

"You want to whip them? With your skinny arms and legs, how could you possibly whip them?" Aunt Zhang was taken aback, somewhat confused.

Hearing the conversation between the two, Huo Fei glanced at Yin Huan, his eyes narrowed, and he immediately guessed the miserable state of the two thieves.

Huo Fei put down what he was carrying and said in a deep voice, "I'll go take a look."

His steps were somewhat unsteady, as if he was worried about something. After seeing that the two young thieves had only broken legs, Huo Fei's heart eased slightly.

It seems the little girl didn't kill them; she only broke their legs.

Life is not in danger... As long as no one dies, there's nothing to worry about.

Having lived together for several months, and because he had been carefully feeding Silver Ring, Huo Fei still didn't know that Silver Ring was a herbivore and couldn't kill any living creature...

Actually, Huo Fei can't be blamed for this.

In prison, Yin Huan's food was always better than that of the other demons. While the other demons ate vegetable leaves, Yin Huan still ate meat and fish. Before she became half-human, half-snake, she had never eaten vegetarian food. Therefore... Huo Fei naturally regarded her as a carnivore as well.

He feared that Silver Ring would take lives, just as he did when hunting for food, killing without hesitation and leaving no room for mercy.

For a demon, if they take a life without any prior connection to the cause, their cultivation path will be extremely arduous, and the tribulation they undergo will be even more perilous. Although he didn't know if Silver Ring would encounter this situation, it was best to avoid killing if possible.

Huo Fei dragged the two thieves with broken legs out of the parking lot, then "pulled out" his phone to call the police. After that, he "forced" the two thieves to reveal the whereabouts of the stolen electric battery.

Shortly after the call was made, the police arrived at the parking lot.

When the two thieves saw the police officers from the police station, they acted as if they had seen their own mother, shouting and pointing at Yin Huan, saying with a face full of resentment that it was Yin Huan who broke their legs.

After listening for a while, the two policemen finally understood what the two thieves were saying. They turned around at the same time and looked at the silver ring that Aunt Zhang was holding in her hand.

After seeing how tall Yin Huan was, the police turned around and kicked the thief twice.

"You're hopeless! If you're going to frame someone, at least pick a decent target. You're saying a little girl broke your legs? Are you saying you're weaker than her? Enough talk, go to jail." The police officers glared angrily at the thieves. These two were blatantly lying.

That's shameless! They actually said the little girl broke their legs. They didn't even look at the little girl's thin arms... If you want to escape responsibility, you can't be so brainless. Anyone would frame someone like that.

The two car thieves, having no way to seek justice, were taken back to the police station by the police who couldn't stand by and watch.

The two policemen were also getting angry, so they decided not to take them to the hospital right away. After questioning them, they would leave them hanging for a while before leisurely taking them to get their bones set.

After the thief was taken away, Huo Fei planned to take Yin Huan back to the zoo. Before leaving, Aunt Zhang stared at Yin Huan strangely, feeling that something was amiss.
