Chapter 76 has been discovered.

Silver Ring, with its crooked, towering head and swaying tail, followed Green Python out of the hotel.

The small town was peaceful and quiet in the early morning, with few pedestrians on the streets. Perhaps due to the good ecological protection in recent years, flocks of sparrows chirped merrily on the telephone poles along the street.

Qingmang asked the students about the location of the town's bus station, and then led them towards the station.

When they got near the station, Silver Ring's tail started to wag a little harder. Its little head looked around, its big eyes sparkling. Every time they passed a stall, its little tongue would unconsciously flick in and out twice.

She tugged at Qingmang's sleeve: "Give me money, I'm hungry, I want to buy steamed buns."

Once outside Penang, Qing Mang became the head steward of their belongings; Yin Huan's phone and bank cards were all with him. Of the five people in the group, only Qing Mang had some social experience; the others, even with bank cards, didn't know how to withdraw money.

In this high-tech era, even demons can't keep up.

Green Python handed Silver Ring a 20 RMB note: "Black Xiong, accompany Silver Ring to buy something."

He needed to check what routes the town offered. The closest city to Penang in this area was a neighboring county, over 100 kilometers away. It was a prefecture-level city, not as bustling as Penang, the provincial capital, and somewhat remote from Mount Fook Teng. If he wanted to buy a car, Penang was the only option, or the neighboring county. So he had to consider whether to head back to Penang or detour to the neighboring county to buy a car.

"Okay!" Hei Xiong replied happily, turned around, and pulled Yin Huan towards the breakfast shop next door.

"Young man, what would you like to eat?" The owner asked Hei Xiong with a smile as he scooped the fried dough sticks out of the oil.

Hei Xiong pointed at the fried dough sticks: "What's this?"

Don't expect a leopard living on the African savanna, especially one that's just been released from prison, to know about Chinese delicacies.

Blackie, the country bumpkin who had just been released from prison, steadfastly followed in Silver Ring's footsteps. He ate whatever Silver Ring ate. For instance, yesterday Silver Ring didn't buy fried dough sticks, so today he didn't recognize them.

The breakfast vendor was taken aback by Hei Xiong's question. He raised his head and glanced at Hei Xiong curiously. He thought to himself: What kind of country bumpkin is this? He's dressed like a respectable person, but he doesn't even know what a fried dough stick is.

The owner, despite his complaints, maintained a smile throughout. He opened his mouth, intending to explain to Hei Xiong what a youtiao (fried dough stick) was, but Yin Huan spoke up beside him: "This is a youtiao, it's delicious."

Yin Huan stared with her bright, sparkling eyes, her little head practically about to fall into someone else's frying pan, because... there were two golden-brown fried dough sticks in the pan, ready to be served.

"Wrap it all up." Silver Ring waved her claws, handed the twenty yuan in her hand to the shopkeeper, puffed out her small chest, and said boldly.

The shopkeeper glanced at Silver Ring, then at Black Bear. He turned and looked at the pile of fried dough sticks on the cutting board, saying shrewdly, "You want twenty yuan, right? Okay, wait."

“Yes, it’s twenty yuan.” Hei Xiong nodded.

"Alright, almost done." The shopkeeper turned around, grabbed a bag, and started packing the fried dough sticks. As he packed, he kept glancing at Yin Huan and the other person out of the corner of his eye.

These two must be out of their minds.

One person doesn't recognize fried dough sticks, while the other does, yet they both want to buy them all for twenty yuan... What a clever business tactic!

The two demons, one big and one small, were looked down upon by the mortal shopkeeper. Then, oblivious to what had happened, they happily carried their fried dough sticks back to find the green python, just like simple-minded fools.

As soon as I turned my head, four people walked towards me.

Those four people were none other than Ah Hui and Song Tianshan, the senior and junior disciples who had parted ways with them the previous night.

Upon seeing Hei Xiong, Ahui trembled and instinctively shrank behind Song Tianshan. He stammered in fear, "Daoist, it's them."

Last night, Ahui's worldview was completely overturned.

Before the incident at Afang Hotel, Ahui was an atheist. It wasn't until the news of the paranormal events at Afang's house spread throughout the town that he began to believe in the existence of ghosts and spirits. Having never actually witnessed them, he believed, but still harbored some doubts.

But last night... ghosts appeared, and monsters appeared too.

Damn it, so there really are demons and monsters in this world.

"Oh, what a coincidence."

When Hei Xiong saw the newcomers, his smile abruptly stopped, and he tightened his grip on Yin Huan's hand. He waved his head, forcing a smile, and gave them a perfunctory greeting.

After greeting him, Hei Xiong turned around, casually pressed Yin Huan onto the stone stool at his feet, and then nonchalantly straightened Yin Huan's white dress.

What a coincidence! Even after driving away the ghosts, why are these Taoist priests still wandering around town?

Hide it well, so they can't see Silver Ring's tail.

Song Tianshan, his face cold and stern, nodded to Hei Xiong as a greeting. The fellow disciples brushed past Hei Xiong, all wanting to leave this small town as soon as possible.

The matter has been resolved, and they should return to their sect. However, when passing through Penang, they should see if it's on their way. If it is, they should make a trip to the Demon Prison and check on the spider demon on behalf of their master.

They had only taken a few steps when Qi Miao, who was following behind Song Tianshan, seemed to have noticed something. She suddenly turned around and looked at Yin Huan, who was sitting on the stone bench, again and again.

"Senior brother, there's something strange about that little girl." Qi Miao turned around, her fair forehead slightly furrowed, her eyes thoughtful.

Qi Miao and Xiao Feng were both younger than Song Tianshan, and their skills were not as profound. They had only recently completed their apprenticeships; while they possessed common sense, they lacked experience. Her ability to detect the strangeness on Yin Huan was merely a natural female instinct, a result of an unexpected discovery.
