Chapter 97 My heart can't take it anymore

Yin Huan ignored him and told him to pack the food. She then buried her head in her food and began to eat, all the while thinking about setting up a training plan.

Seeing that Yin Huan didn't speak again, Ahui knew he had escaped a disaster. He secretly breathed a sigh of relief, sat down, and, as if deflated, ate three bowls of rice in one go. He ate so much that his belly grew bigger.

After tidying up the house, Ahui saw Yinhuan sitting in front of the computer again, ready to play games. His mind raced, and he seemed to have thought of something. He mustered up his courage and said, "I want to go to my cousin's house. Do you want to come with me?"

Ahui was bolder in front of Yinhuan.

He's been in Qingcheng for a month and a half, and apart from leaving a message for his cousin on QQ to let him know he's safe, he hasn't called home once. I wonder how worried his dad is?

Yin Huan looked up, somewhat surprised: "You have relatives in Qingcheng?"

Ahui nodded.

Silver Ring's eyelashes fluttered slightly, her eyes rolled, and she gave a mysterious smile: "Then let's go have some fun together."

The fleeting smile on Silver Ring's face went unnoticed by the mortal Ah Hui.

Seeing that Yin Huan agreed, he smiled happily and said to himself, "My cousin's house is a bit far from Minghao Community, so we have to drive there. You've been in Qingcheng for so long, but you haven't been to a night market yet. There's a night market not far from my cousin's house. When we get there, I'll take you there."

Silver Ring nodded vigorously. After saying goodbye to the Green Python, she left home with Ah Hui.

After Yin Huan left, a fierce glint appeared in Qing Mang's eyes. He took out his phone, pursed his thin lips, and made a serious call to Hei Xiong, who was studying at a hairdressing and styling training class.

After hanging up the phone, the green python went into the bedroom, cast a spell on the little fox that was terrified, then closed the bedroom door and followed the two of them out of the house.

Unbeknownst to him, the instant he closed the door, a faint, green glow suddenly filled the empty three-bedroom apartment. The moment the green light appeared, the eerie atmosphere vanished, and the entire house became exceptionally fresh.

After leaving Minghao Residential Area, Yinhuan tilted her head and said to Ahui beside her, "Let's walk to your cousin's house and do some shopping."

"Walk there?" Ahui's forehead twitched. "It might take two hours to walk there from here."

Yin Huan gently closed her eyes and said, "Two hours it is."

She made up her mind: starting tonight, she would go out and stroll the streets every day.

That uninvited, enigmatic guy who showed up today must be lurking right beside her. Their first encounter at the internet cafe was a coincidence, but this second...

She had been in Qingcheng for so long and had never left her home. Today, the first time she stepped out of her home, that person managed to get into her house. His target must be her.

She wondered what his true intentions were in approaching her. Hmph, whatever his purpose, she was determined to lure him out.

Silver Ring's head whirred, and she reached out, instinctively touching the bracelet in her pocket again. The instant her small hand touched the Nuwa Crystal, a wisp of gas once more entered her body along with her hand.

Yin Huan swaggered out of the residential compound, ready to set up a sting operation to catch the bad guys.

Meanwhile, the "bad guy" she was about to catch was standing lightly on the top of a tree on a hill outside the city, confronting the Hanfu-clad woman walking on the ground.

At this moment, Jiu Yuanqing's appearance had changed again. If Yin Huan were here, she would definitely recognize at a glance that the person on the treetop was the one who had captured her on the riverbank that day and wanted her to mate with him.

On a summer night, the moonlight is bright and the stars twinkle in the sky, making it exceptionally beautiful.

The soft moonlight bathed the mountaintop, and a night breeze ruffled a strand of hair. The beautiful woman smiled, her eyes sparkling, every smile and gesture captivating, like a goddess descended to earth.

She gently twirled her hair at her chest, her eyes like silk, glancing sideways at the person blocking her way, like a lover.

"Brave warrior, why do you block a woman's path?" Her red lips murmured, her words as clear as a spring from the bottom of a lake, soothing the soul.

That casual glance was captivating and alluring, utterly mesmerizing. It seemed that being looked at like that by her would make one willing to die immediately.

"Matchmaker, after all these years, your charm is still so rudimentary." Jiu Yuanqing looked straight ahead, pointed a finger at his brow, and called out the other party's identity in one sentence.

"An old friend? Forgive my poor eyesight, I didn't recognize you." Hongniang's eyes paused slightly, then she smiled and took two steps forward with graceful steps.

She appeared to be smiling, but her smiling eyes held a hint of unease.

She stared intently at the person on the treetop, trying to see clearly who he was.

She had been living in seclusion in the Zen Emperor Cave for nearly two thousand years, and very few people in the world knew of her. Yet this person recognized her identity at a glance.

What alarmed the matchmaker most was the man's elusive aura. He stood there, yet could only be seen with the naked eye.

He is no ordinary person.

Seeing her step forward, Jiu Yuanqing's gaze darkened, and he drew a line on the ground with his finger. A golden light suddenly appeared on the ground, carrying a faint, burning intensity.

"Those who cross the line will be killed without mercy." Jiu Yuanqing's tone was unhurried, yet it struck straight to the heart.

His words, though seemingly light, carried an inexplicable, terrifying power that left no room for resistance.

The matchmaker's lips curled into a slight smile, and her slender fingers flicked a strand of hair at her chest. Her narrow eyes suddenly sharpened, her aura changing drastically in an instant, her gentle and tender demeanor vanishing.

Her ten fingers formed claws, the sharp tips of which gleamed with a compelling light.

"If you won't listen to reason, you'll have to suffer the consequences. Since you're so ungrateful, then you'll become my nourishment."
