Mid-Autumn Festival Special: Full Moon Over Beijing
On the night of the Mid-Autumn Festival, the capital city shed its daytime hustle and bustle and was immersed in a peaceful and warm atmosphere.
The Prince Jin's mansion was brightly decorated with lanterns and colorful decorations. Exquisite glass palace lanterns hung under the eaves, casting a warm glow that echoed the full silver disc in the sky.
The pavilion is built over the water, with sheer gauze curtains hanging all around. When the evening breeze blows, it brings the faint fragrance of withered lotus leaves and the sweet scent of osmanthus.
On the stone table in the pavilion, there were various exquisite mooncakes bestowed by the emperor, seasonal fruits, and a pot of osmanthus wine that was warmed to just the right temperature.
Lou Jin was dressed in a dark-colored casual suit with subtle patterns, which accentuated his handsome features and dignified demeanor.
He stood with his hands behind his back by the pavilion, gazing at the moon's reflection in the pond, his expression serene.
Ye Xunyang was dressed in a scarlet brocade robe, which made his face look like jade, and his eyes and brows revealed an undisguised brilliance.
He walked over with two cups of wine, handed one to Lou Jin with a smile on his lips: "Your Highness, try this wine. It was just bestowed by the palace. They say it's osmanthus wine that's been aged for ten years."
Lou Jin took the white jade wine cup, and the light touch between his fingertips and Ye Xunyang brought a subtle warmth.
He lowered his head and took a sip. The rich aroma of the wine and the sweet fragrance of osmanthus blossoms melted in his mouth. He praised, "Good wine."
His gaze remained fixed on Ye Xunyang's face, which was flushed from the smell of alcohol, more intoxicating than the moonlight.
Feeling a little embarrassed by his gaze, Ye Xunyang tilted his head back and drank the wine in his glass in one gulp.
"Look, the moon is so round." Ye Xunyang pointed to the sky, trying to divert attention.
“Hmm,” Lou Jin responded, his gaze never leaving him, “Not as good as Ren Yuan.”
Ye Xunyang was taken aback, then realized that he was talking about him, and his cheeks flushed even redder: "Your Highness is now spouting such nonsense!"
Lou Jin chuckled softly and reached out to pull him into his arms.
Ye Xunyang obediently leaned against his chest, listening to his steady and powerful heartbeat, his nose filled with his refreshing and pleasant scent, and felt incredibly safe and content.
A gentle evening breeze stirred the gauze curtains, causing them to dance lightly and allowing their warmth to mingle.
"Do you remember last year's Mid-Autumn Festival?" Lou Jin gently rested his chin on the top of his head, his voice low and gentle.
Ye Xunyang snuggled against him and said, "I remember. You were still sick then, and I could only look at the moon from afar, hoping that you would get better soon."
"I will be by your side every Mid-Autumn Festival from now on," Lou Jin promised, tightening his arms around you.
A warm feeling washed over Ye Xunyang. He looked up and gazed into Lou Jin's deep eyes, where he saw a small reflection of himself, along with a sky full of stars and a full moon.
He leaned forward and placed a kiss, carrying the scent of osmanthus wine, on those slightly cool, thin lips.
They parted at the slightest touch, yet like a pebble thrown into a calm lake, they created ripples.
Lou Jin's eyes darkened, and his Adam's apple bobbed.
He didn't deepen the kiss immediately, but instead gently caressed Ye Xunyang's glistening lips with his fingertips, his voice hoarse: "What is the punishment for stealing a kiss?"
Ye Xunyang's ears burned from this counterattack, but he stubbornly retorted, "It was clearly Your Highness who... um..."
The unspoken words were completely sealed away.
Lou Jin lowered his head and accurately captured his lips, no longer just a light taste, but with undeniable tenderness and possessiveness, savoring the sweetness that belonged only to him.
The aroma of osmanthus wine lingers on the lips and teeth, more mellow than moonlight and more intoxicating than fine wine.
Ye Xunyang was initially a little stiff, but he softened in the lingering kiss, his arms involuntarily wrapping around Lou Jin's neck, responding awkwardly but with effort.
The chirping of insects outside the pavilion seemed to have faded away, leaving only the mingling of breaths and the increasingly rapid heartbeats in the world.
After an unknown amount of time, until Ye Xunyang was panting heavily, Lou Jin reluctantly let go of him, their foreheads touching, their breaths mingling.
"Shall we... go back to our room?" Ye Xunyang's voice trembled slightly, filled with shyness and anticipation.
Looking at the person in his arms with a face as red as a peach blossom, Lou Jin could no longer utter a word of refusal.
He scooped Ye Xunyang up in his arms, startling Ye Xunyang who gasped and instinctively clung tightly to his neck.
"Your Highness! Your injuries..." Although he had recovered, Ye Xunyang was still worried.
“He’s already fine.” Lou Jin chuckled, carrying him steadily out of the pavilion, through the moonlit corridor, and towards the bedchamber. “Enough… to pamper my queen.”
Inside the bedchamber, red candles burned brightly, filling the air with a warm fragrance.
Delicate gauze curtains hung down, separating the inside from the outside into two worlds.
Lou Jin gently placed Ye Xunyang on the soft brocade quilt, but did not rush to move.
He propped himself up on his arms, hovering above, his deep gaze like a still pool, locking onto the person beneath him.
Ye Xunyang's heart trembled under his gaze, his cheeks flushed, and his usually bright eyes were now misty with tears, carrying a hint of helpless shyness and complete trust.
He subconsciously licked his dry lips; this unconscious little action was like a spark that ignited dry tinder.
Lou Jin's Adam's apple bobbed slightly. He finally leaned down and kissed her again.
This time, it was no longer a gentle probing in the pavilion, but a powerful yet restrained passion.
He lightly brushed across Ye Xunyang's brow and eyelids, sending a slight shiver down his spine.
Then, the kisses slowly slid down the bridge of his upturned nose, finally covering those two alluring crimson lips once more.
Ye Xunyang opened his mouth subconsciously.
Lou Jin took the opportunity to probe in, and the lingering fragrance of osmanthus wine mingled and fermented in their mouths, creating an aroma more intoxicating than any fine wine.
The oxygen became thin, my mind began to feel hazy, and the whole world seemed to consist only of this suffocating kiss.
At the same time, his long, slender fingers, calloused from the thin skin, deftly untied the jade belt around Ye Xunyang's waist and slipped inside his slightly open robe.
As his fingertips traced his abs, Lou Jin felt the skin beneath his hands tighten instantly, then stroked his supple waist.
Ye Xunyang's body involuntarily arched upwards.
This silent invitation ignited the hidden flame in Lou Jin's eyes.
His kisses grew more intense, tracing down Ye Xunyang's beautiful jawline, past his prominent Adam's apple, lingering and caressing his slightly undulating collarbone, leaving behind moist traces and an ambiguous blush.
Her clothes were removed without her noticing and scattered under the bed.
Moonlight streamed through the window lattice, outlining the smooth yet powerful lines of Ye Xunyang's young body. His skin, bathed in the interplay of candlelight and moonlight, glowed with a jade-like luster, and was flushed with a captivating blush due to his emotions.
Lou Jin's kiss continued downwards, as if exploring an unknown realm, devout and passionate.
Ye Xunyang suddenly looked up.
"Your Highness... Lou Jin..." he called out unconsciously, his fingers digging deep into Lou Jin's thick, dark hair, unsure whether he wanted to push him away or press him closer.
Lou Jin raised his head, his eyes as deep as unyielding ink, the surging emotions within them almost threatening to engulf him.
He grasped Ye Xunyang's hand, interlocking their fingers tightly, and placed it beside the pillow.
His voice was terribly hoarse, carrying a burning heat, as it rang in Ye Xunyang's ear, "Look at me, Xunyang."
Ye Xunyang opened his eyes groggily and met those eyes full of desire and affection. The shyness and unease in his heart were strangely soothed and replaced by a trust and longing that made him completely surrender.
Feeling the relaxation of the person beneath him, Lou Jin no longer hesitated.
Various sounds intertwined and echoed in the silent bedchamber.
Fireworks exploded in my mind, and my vision went blank.
Lou Jin looked at the person beneath him, who was in a daze of passion, with red eyes and slightly swollen lips, and his love and possessiveness surged to the peak.
He lowered his head and kissed those lips, which were still emitting sweet sounds, deeply once again, pushing them both to the peak of passion...
After an unknown amount of time, the wind stopped and the rain ceased.
Ye Xunyang lay lazily on Lou Jin's sweat-dampened chest, his cheek pressed against the smooth, undulating muscles, too lazy to even move his fingertips.
Lou Jin gently stroked his smooth back, as if soothing a satisfied cat.
Outside the window, the moonlight remained bright and full, quietly guarding this peaceful world.
"Lou Jin..." Ye Xunyang called out in a daze.
"Hmm?" Lou Jin's voice carried a languid and magnetic quality.
"Next Mid-Autumn Festival...we'll still spend it like this..." he muttered, his consciousness gradually sinking into a deep, sweet dream.
Lou Jin lowered his head and placed a gentle kiss on his sweaty hair, his eyes filled with deep affection and doting tenderness.
"Good, may every year be like this morning."
