Gu Chengfeng and the other two waited outside the conference room for a long time. They could hear the noises from inside even from outside. Once they got closer, the soldiers at the door stared at them with a fierce look in their eyes. They could only retreat in disappointment. They could only walk back and forth in the corridor, anxiously waiting for the meeting inside to end.
After waiting for a long time, I didn't even know what time it was. The door of the conference room was opened from the inside. The leader came out first, followed by many military and political leaders.
Seeing the leader and his entourage, Gu Chengfeng stood aside and saluted the leaders. When the leader saw Gu Chengfeng, he just smiled and patted his shoulder, then left with everyone.
Father Gu came out last, and Su Nuan followed behind him.

Before Gu Chengfeng could speak, Gu's father spoke first.
"Xiao Feng, you know the confidentiality agreement, don't ask questions that you shouldn't ask."

Father Gu looked at Johnson and Jack again. At first glance, they seemed to be muscular and strong. The aura they exuded was no less than that of the elite soldiers in the army. It was obvious at a glance that they were masters who had experienced many battles.
"Is that Johnson and Jack? Xiao Nuan's bodyguards?"
The two nodded and looked at Father Gu.
"Gather at the military training ground at 6 o'clock tomorrow morning. We have a mission to keep you safe."
After saying that, he looked at the guard and told him to arrange accommodation for several people, then left.
Jack couldn't help but ask Su Nuan out of curiosity.
"Miss, what's going on? Do you have a mission for us? What mission?"
"Don't ask. You'll find out tomorrow when you get to the training ground on time. From now on, you must obey the army's arrangements. Got it?"
Seeing the two of them nod, Su Nuan was satisfied and turned to the guard.
"Comrade, please take us to rest."
The guard nodded and quickly agreed, then took a few people to the military guesthouse. After checking them in at the registration office, he told them that he would come to pick them up the next morning. He asked them to have a good rest and then said goodbye and left.
The staff of the guesthouse took the room keys and led them to the room. They also introduced the bathhouse for washing and the public toilet. After the introduction, they went about their own business, leaving the others to find their own rooms and clean up.
Gu Chengfeng carried Su Nuan's luggage and helped her put it away. Seeing that Su Nuan looked a little tired, he touched Su Nuan's head with heartache.
"Nuannuan, hurry up and get ready to wash up. It's been a tiring day. Go to bed early."
"Okay, you can go back to your room and rest."
After the two separated, Su Nuan took her toiletries and went to the bathhouse to wash up. After she was ready, she climbed into bed and went to sleep.
Su Nuan had a dreamless night. The next day, she was awakened by the army's wake-up call. She looked at her watch and saw that it was 6 o'clock in the morning and it was just dawn.
He jumped up, changed his clothes, took his toiletries and went to wash up.
When Su Nuan finished washing up and returned to her room, Gu Chengfeng had already gotten up and packed up and was waiting in his room.
Su Nuan put down the toiletries in her hand and asked Gu Chengfeng.
"Johnson and Jack went to the training ground?"
"I went there. The guards knocked on the door and took the two away. Do you have any plans for today, Nuannuan?"
"Let's go to the cafeteria to have breakfast first, and then go find Uncle Gu."
Gu Chengfeng nodded, and waited for Su Nuan to pack up and go out. He took Su Nuan out of the guesthouse as if he was familiar with the place, and walked along the tree-lined road until they found the army canteen.
Seeing Gu Chengfeng leading her to the cafeteria in a familiar way, Su Nuan asked curiously.
"You've served in the Jing City Army? How come you're so familiar with the roads?"
"I haven't served in Beijing before, but I often come here with my dad and brother during holidays, so I'm quite familiar with this place."
The two arrived at the cafeteria. Gu Chengfeng found an empty seat and arranged for Su Nuan to sit down, while he stood up and went to queue for breakfast.
There were not many people in the cafeteria now, as most of the officers and soldiers had to train. Gu Chengfeng quickly brought the food. Although the breakfast was not rich, the quantity was really large. There were steamed buns as big as a fist, an aluminum lunch box full of white porridge, and two large fried dough sticks.
Looking at so much food, Su Nuan was in a dilemma. According to her appetite, she would probably be full with just one big steamed bun, not to mention all the other things.
“This is too much. I can’t finish it.”
"It's okay, you eat first, and give me the rest."
Su Nuan felt relieved after hearing what Gu Chengfeng said. People nowadays are particularly nervous about food. If she wasted food in the army, she would probably be put on the canteen blacklist.
Su Nuan still tried her best to eat, and finally stopped when she could no longer eat. She ate half a steamed bun, half a fried dough stick, and drank half of the white porridge.
After Su Nuan stopped, Gu Chengfeng had already finished his own portion, so he naturally took the remaining food from Su Nuan and started eating. After Gu Chengfeng finished eating and packed up the lunch box, the two of them walked towards Gu's father's office.
The two knocked on the door and went in. Father Gu was already working in the office. He looked at them and said to Su Nuan.
"Xiao Nuan, wait for me to arrange for someone to come and train you. Xiao Feng, you can find a training ground to do rehabilitation training later."
After seeing the two of them nod, Gu's father called someone to come over. After waiting for a while, someone knocked on the door and came in.
The man was probably in his twenties, wearing a military uniform and glasses. Judging from his rank, he was a civilian officer. Gu's father looked at the person who came.
"Comrade Xiao Yuan, you are here. This is Su Nuan. Xiao Nuan, this is our comrade. He will be your training teacher today."
Su Nuan greeted the visitor and followed the man.
Gu Chengfeng stayed in his father's office, staring at his father motionlessly.
