The Beijing Department Store on Wangfujing Street was newly built after the founding of the People's Republic of China. On the eve of the Spring Festival, customers poured into the department store. The first floor sells daily necessities and home appliances, the second floor sells leather shoes, hats, stationery, and the third floor sells ready-made clothes, fabrics and other things.
After parking the car, they got out and saw the bustling scene inside the department store. They thought it would be inconvenient to squeeze in with the crowd if they took Niu Niu with them. Su Nuan ordered hot tea and some snacks, and while eating, she watched to see if Gu's mother and Gu's second sister-in-law had come out from the department store opposite. It had been almost half the morning since they left home, and they had been shopping non-stop.
