Not long after, the guard hurried back to report to Prince Tuo: "Your Highness, I have already found out that the eldest daughter of the Jiang family is enjoying a vegetarian meal in the side room at this moment. As for the second daughter of the Jiang family...she...she..." At this point, the guard began to stammer and seemed unable to speak.
Upon seeing this, Prince Tuo was filled with nameless rage. He kicked the guard fiercely and shouted, "What's wrong with her? She can't even speak a coherent sentence. She's just a useless piece of shit!"
The guard was caught off guard and kicked to the ground, but he didn't dare delay even a moment. He endured the excruciating pain and quickly climbed to his feet, trembling with fear. "Your Highness, Miss Jiang is currently entangled with several monks in a meditation room." By the time he finished speaking, the guard was sweating profusely and trembling all over, silently praying that the prince wouldn't kill him in a fit of rage. After all, Zhu Sha had just died tragically at the prince's hands, and he was now kneeling beside her.
"What a shameless Jiang Meilian! She actually dared to seduce a monk, and there has been no response to the things I asked her to do. Take me there quickly!" King Tuo's face was terribly gloomy, like the sky before a storm, full of endless violent energy, which made people afraid.
"Yes, Your Highness!" the guard responded hastily, then quickly stood up and led King Tuo towards the meditation room where three monks lived.
After walking a short distance, King Tuo suddenly turned to an old man beside him and said, "Uncle Hu, please go to the abbot and tell him that I have something important to discuss with you. Please come to see me as soon as possible."
"Yes, Your Highness!" Uncle Hu responded respectfully, then turned and walked quickly towards the temple hall.
At this moment, in the Prince Gong Mansion far away in the capital, Prince Gong had already returned. However, he secretly left behind his most capable expert Jiazi and ordered him to hide in the dark and be responsible for protecting Jiang Meiyu's safety.
"Cousin, you're back!" A gentle and graceful call came, and Yan Jiao'er was standing in the courtyard, a gentle smile on her face. She was wearing a light pink Luo skirt, and her figure was graceful, as charming as a blooming peach blossom.
"Well, why are you here?" Prince Gong frowned slightly, his face as cold as ice, and asked calmly. His deep eyes revealed a subtle hint of annoyance.
"Yes...it was my aunt who asked me to come and take care of my cousin when I'm free. My aunt was worried that my cousin was busy all day and there was no one caring person around to take care of his daily life, so she specifically asked me to come..." Yan Jiaoer explained softly, with a hint of grievance and helplessness in her voice.
"Don't come to the palace unless you have anything to do. I don't need any so-called care." Prince Gong's tone was so cold that it could instantly plunge you into an ice cellar. Without even waiting for Yan Jiao'er's response, he stepped through the palace gates without hesitation. Yan Jiao'er was left standing alone, tears welling in her eyes, her heart filled with loss and sorrow.
Yan Jiao'er felt frozen in place, at a loss as to what to do, neither advancing nor retreating, filled with endless embarrassment and confusion. She knew her cousin was a man of his word, decisive and resolute, with no regard for family ties or personal relationships. If she forced her way in, she would likely be met with nothing but frustration; yet, leaving would be a painful decision.
At this quandary, Yan Jiao'er suddenly had an idea and decided to find a respectable excuse to step down. She turned slightly to her personal maid, Wu Lian, and whispered, "Wulian, my cousin seems quite tired today. I guess he's busy with government affairs. Let's not bother him anymore and visit him another day." She added a deliberately helpless expression.
Wu Lian was very clever and naturally understood what her young lady was thinking. She quickly responded, "Yes, young lady is absolutely right. Then let's go back first and come visit the prince when he is free." After saying that, she followed Yan Jiao'er closely and they walked slowly out of the solemn and dignified Prince Gong's Mansion with light steps.
Inside the tranquil and peaceful Baiyun Temple, Prince Tuo, accompanied by a group of imposing guards, marched with steady, powerful steps towards the three monks' meditation rooms nestled deep within the temple. Meanwhile, Uncle Hu hurried over, accompanied by the solemn-looking abbot.
When the abbot heard about this, he couldn't help but clasp his hands together and muttered repeatedly: "Amitabha, it is a sin that such an disgusting and filthy thing happened in the pure place of Buddhism! I beg the Buddha to have mercy on you and forgive these people who have done wrong..." His voice was full of compassion and helplessness.
King Tuo's face was gloomy, his eyes flashing with anger. He suddenly raised one foot and kicked hard, and the door that had been closed was kicked open in an instant. Everyone looked closely and saw four men and women lying on the bed in the room.
"You shameless bitch!" King Tuo was furious and pointed at Jiang Meilian and shouted.
The monks were so frightened by the sudden intruder that they scrambled to their feet. However, before they could regain their footing, King Tuo had already swiftly drawn a sharp saber from the waist of a guard beside him and was about to strike at the monks.
At this critical moment, the abbot, who had kept his eyes tightly closed, suddenly shouted, "Amitabha, Your Majesty, please calm down! Killing is strictly prohibited in Buddhist holy places. Please hand these people over to me for disposal!" After saying this, the abbot still kept his eyes tightly closed, muttering to himself, "Amitabha, Buddha, please have mercy on us! May the Buddha protect us and help us survive this disaster..."
