Chapter 443 The Power Outage
Tang Su started to do the test paper issued by the system. This test lasted 30 minutes and had a total of 12 questions.
The test was on the equations of lines and circles that she had learned last week.
Tang Su worked very quickly and finished eight multiple-choice questions in a short while, but just when she was about to do the ninth question.
The lights in the classroom suddenly went out.
"Who is it? Why did you turn off the lights?"
The originally bright classroom suddenly became dark. Tang Su was depressed and even a little angry.
However, she soon discovered that not only the lights in her own class were off, but all the lights in the school were out.
"What's going on?"
There was a lot of chatter in the classroom, and some students turned on the flashlight on their phones.
"It should be a power outage. Why is there a power outage?"
Tang Su heard the voice of his deskmate Liu Zimo.
Everyone was depressed because of the power outage because they hadn't finished their homework yet.
The math teacher of Class 5, Mr. Xiang, was on duty at that time.
He walked out of the classroom and took out his mobile phone to check the notifications sent in the work group.
After reading it, he shook his head speechlessly and walked back to the classroom.
"Everyone, please be patient and stay in your seats and wait. The school is contacting the power department for maintenance." Teacher Xiang said to the students below.
But the students couldn't control their mouths at this time and they all chatted with the classmates around them.
Tang Su was also a little restless.
This was the first time she encountered a power outage at Changde Middle School.
"Teacher, when will the call come?" a classmate asked.
Some students already want to walk out of the classroom.
At least there was moonlight outside, but it was pitch dark in the classroom.
"The teacher doesn't know either. Let's wait a little longer." He replied to the teacher.
"Teacher, I'm going to the toilet."
"I'm going too."
After hearing the teacher's answer, some students found an excuse to leave the classroom.
Soon some other students became restless.
In the corridor outside, some students from other classes had already come out, and many of them were standing in the corridor playing and laughing.
When the teacher saw this situation, he didn't care about it anymore.
Anyway, without electricity, students cannot study.
Tang Su was then pulled out of the classroom by his roommates Chen Yi, Guo Xiangling and Xu Manni.
"Where are you going?" Tang Su couldn't see the faces of his roommates clearly.
There was a power outage and everything was pitch black.
"Let's go for a walk in the playground." Xu Manni said with a smile.
She was actually quite happy because she didn't have to go to evening self-study because of the power outage.
Tang Su didn't want to waste this time, but there was no way. There was no electricity, and it was so noisy that she couldn't study.
So she and her roommates walked out of the teaching building and came outside, using the light from their cell phones.
It was very lively outside at this time. Many classmates came out, and everyone was in groups of three or four, talking and laughing.
Especially the freshmen in the first year of high school, they all looked very excited.
"I found that our math teacher is really amazing." Chen Yi said with a smile, starting a gossip topic.
"Yes, Teacher Xiang has made a great success. He just came to our Changde Middle School this semester, and in the first exam, the classes with the highest and lowest average scores were both taught by him." Xu Manni replied.
Tang Su just smiled and didn't say anything.
She doesn't like to talk about her teachers, nor does she like to say bad things about people behind their backs, even if they are words of praise or compliments.
"I used to think that learning mainly depends on my own efforts, but now I realize that the teacher is the key. I have never scored above 110 in math exams before, but this time I got 124 points." Xu Manni continued, her face full of smiles, looking particularly happy.
