Chapter 924 A New Year’s gift for you
Xue Yao carried Tang Su to the balcony and gently put him down.
He looked at the girl's red face in front of him and couldn't help laughing.
"It's snowing." He pointed to the falling snowflakes outside.
Tang Su let out a sigh of relief, and her feet landed on the ground, and her sanity returned a little.
She was so frightened that she thought he was going to carry her into the room.
The two watched the snow together on the balcony.
It was already past eleven o'clock in the evening.
Tang Su's mood has calmed down.
She found that she was the one who was startled every time, and Xue Yao was not who she thought he was.
Tang Su looked at the heavy snow falling outside. This was the third time it had snowed in Hai City since returning from winter vacation.
The snowflakes fell like catkins, like shooting stars across the night sky.
In the distance, it seemed as if there were people moving around by the Jinlan River. After a while, gorgeous fireworks bloomed in the sky, making the originally dark night sky colorful, poetic, and magnificent.
"It's so beautiful." Tang Su exclaimed unconsciously.
Every New Year’s Eve, fireworks are set off by the Jinlan River. Last year, she also stood on the balcony to enjoy the show. But at that time, she only felt that fireworks would fade away quickly and were just a fleeting beauty. But at this moment, her mood is completely different.
Xue Yao opened the window a little, letting the cold wind from outside blow in so that he could feel the atmosphere of this cold winter.
"Su Su, do you have any New Year's wishes?" Xue Yao looked at the girl next to him. Seeing her smiling so happily, he couldn't help but raise the corners of his mouth.
"I forgot to make a wish." Tang Su looked back at the European-style clock on the wall and found that it was already 12 o'clock in the evening.
As the New Year’s bell rang, the sound of firecrackers popped outside.
Tang Su then put her hands together, closed her eyes slightly, and began to make her New Year wishes: first, she wished her family and friends good health and peace in the coming year; second, she wished she and the boy next to her would be sweet and happy without quarrels.
Tang Su made two wishes. After that, she turned around and looked at Xue Yao, only to find that he was holding something in his hand, which turned out to be a ring.
"This is a New Year's gift for you." Xue Yao handed the thing in his hand to Tang Su.
Tang Su paused. She didn't take it immediately, but looked carefully at what Xue Yao was holding.
This looks like a platinum ring, with some strange symbols engraved on it, which should be Arabic. The originally simple style looks a bit mysterious because of these strange words.
Tang Su hesitated for a moment, then slowly stretched out his left hand.
Then, the ring was put on the middle finger of her left hand. It was neither too big nor too small, just the right size.
"Um...what do the symbols engraved on it mean?" Tang Su looked at the ring on her hand. This style of ring reminded her of the ring in a movie she had watched before, "The Lord of the Rings", which had these ancient text symbols on it.
"It's my name." Xue Yao replied calmly.
"Your name?" Tang Su looked at the symbols again, but she really couldn't understand them. "Then my name isn't engraved on it?" Tang Su asked.
"Your name is here." Xue Yao reached into his pocket and took out another ring of the same style.
This ancient text also appears on the ring, but the content is different.
Xue Yao put the ring on the middle finger of his right hand, then gently hugged the girl's shoulders.
"Why do you want to buy a ring?" After suddenly putting on a ring, Tang Su's heart, which had just calmed down, began to waver again.
