Chapter 326: Grasp the basics first
Tang Su is reading in the classroom.
After dinner, she would go back to the classroom to study instead of taking a walk or going to the dormitory to take a shower or do laundry like many of her classmates.
She doesn't have a very good foundation, so she can only rely on hard work to surpass others.
Tang Su took out the real questions of the 2021 college entrance examination that he had done, including a Chinese test paper and two English test papers. The second task arranged by the system today was to summarize the exams of the previous two days.
Tang Su took out a notebook and pen and started writing a summary.
She first wrote a summary of the Chinese language test:
The content is: 1. Error in question review. In the modern Chinese reading short-answer part, the student did not understand the meaning of the question, which led to a serious mistake in answering the question in a direction other than the correct one.
2. Insufficient accumulation of basic language knowledge, resulting in errors when examining the meaning of idioms and judging grammatical errors.
3. When it comes to ancient poems that are somewhat difficult, they are unable to grasp the central idea of the poem, have misunderstandings, and answer questions that are not asked.
4. The accumulation of writing materials is insufficient, and the choice of words and sentences lacks literary grace. The composition is mediocre.
Tang Su listed four reasons and then wrote a summary:
Summary: The comprehension ability is not good. I did not examine the questions carefully during the exam. I answered the questions too quickly and lacked thinking. I did not accumulate enough knowledge in daily life and made mistakes on some simple questions. My composition writing is bland and needs more training.
After finishing Chinese, Tang Su started writing English.
For the summary of the English test, she combined two test papers, including Paper 1 and Paper 2.
English Her current problems:
1. The vocabulary accumulation is not enough and it is difficult to understand difficult articles.
2. The grammar knowledge was not mastered. Due to grammatical errors, 8 points were deducted in the first paper and 9 points were deducted in the second paper.
3. Being careless, choosing the wrong answers for some questions that you could have answered well, either because you did them too quickly or did not read the questions carefully.
4. In the writing section, 5-7 points were deducted due to spelling errors, grammatical errors, fixed collocations, etc.
Tang Su looked at the summaries he had written.
I found that she had a lot of problems.
Moreover, she made mistakes in reading the questions in both Chinese and English, which means that she was either careless or answered the questions too quickly during the exam, resulting in her failure to read the questions carefully.
This kind of mistake is really unacceptable.
Then there is the basics. Her problem is still poor basics, especially English. Some spelling and grammatical errors are basic problems.
Tang Su thought that if he could correct his bad habits when doing questions, focus on the basics, and accumulate more knowledge, he would be able to improve in the future.
After summarizing all the problems, Tang Su knew what to do next and also had some directions.
She thought that at this stage, she didn't need to do any difficult questions at all. She just needed to lay a solid foundation first and try to finish the basic and simple questions. When the foundation was good enough, she could talk about the difficult questions that would widen the score gap.
After summarizing, Tang Su looked at the time and found that it was already 18:55.
It’s almost time for evening self-study.
Tang Su then got up and went to the bathroom.
However, as soon as she entered the classroom, she bumped into someone she didn't want to see.
Mu Jingchen had just come back from the playground. He had a frown on his face and looked very unhappy.
Because he didn't look at the road carefully, he bumped into Tang Su.
Tang Su was knocked back several steps by him and almost fell.
"Don't you have eyes when you walk?" Tang Su felt depressed when he saw this person.
I don't know if he hit me on purpose.
