Chapter 234 Greetings
Evening self-study lasted from 7pm to 10pm. During this time, Tang Su only went to the bathroom once and spent the rest of the time studying.
After the second evening self-study session, Tang Su was already very tired.
She rubbed her eyes and felt like they were about to swell up.
Of course Tang Su didn't complain about being tired. Being a high school student is the most tiring stage in life, and it's the same for everyone.
After packing up the textbooks and materials, Tang Su stood up, left the classroom and walked towards the dormitory.
The most comfortable time of the day is when you can go to bed after evening self-study.
A few minutes later, Tang Su returned to the dormitory. At this time, all her roommates had returned, and she was the last one to return.
"Tang Su, we just saw Xue Yao."
As soon as Tang Su entered the dormitory, he attracted the attention of several roommates.
"Really?" Tang Su smiled faintly.
I thought, if I see it, I see it. It's nothing strange. We are in the same school and walk the same route. It's normal to run into each other from time to time.
"Well... Xue Yao seemed to be seriously injured. He walked with a limp and someone was supporting him." Chen Yi told Tang Su what he saw.
She found that Tang Su didn't seem very worried.
Tang Su was stunned for a moment. Under the light, her expression changed obviously and a hint of worry flashed across her eyes.
She paused, but did not respond to her roommate. Instead, she climbed onto her bed and pulled the curtains.
She has now set a task for herself to memorize 15 words before lights out every day, and she hasn't finished it today.
Tang Su took out a new pocket book and started to memorize words. Today she was not in a good state. Usually she could memorize 15 words in ten minutes, but today she took ten minutes to memorize them.
After taking note, Tang Su looked at the time. It was 22:22, and there were still eight minutes until the lights turned off.
Tang Su thought about it for a moment, then she opened the WeChat message.
She thought that she and Xue Yao were indeed friends, and now that he was injured, she should at least say hello.
Tang Su then sent a message: "Is your foot okay?"
After sending the message, Tang Su lay down in the bed and put her phone aside.
She didn't know what Xue Yao was doing at the moment, and she wasn't even sure whether he would reply.
However, soon, the phone screen lit up.
Tang Su picked it up and saw that it was a message from Xue Yao:
"There's a bruise on my calf, but it's nothing serious."
Tang Su looked at the message and frowned slightly.
I thought, my legs are bruised and I walk with a limp, but it’s not a big deal.
Clicking on the input box, Tang Su replied: "Apply an ice pack to reduce swelling and relieve pain. Did you get the medicine?"
This time, after a few seconds, the other party replied.
"I'm applying it. Teacher Hu helped me get a tube of ointment from the infirmary."
Tang Su sent a smiling emoticon.
At this moment, she was thinking about how to respond.
After a while, she replied: "Then take good care of yourself, be careful when getting in and out of bed, and don't fall."
Tang Su didn't know why she replied like that. After she finished, she regretted it a little bit, because it seemed obvious that she cared about him. It was too direct.
Xue Yao sent back a smiling expression, followed by a sentence: "Okay, I will pay attention."
Tang Su did not reply because it seemed that he had said everything he needed to say, and if he continued, it would seem like she was deliberately flirting with him.
So she put her phone aside and waited for the lights to turn off and go to bed.
But less than two minutes later, Tang Su found that the phone screen lit up again.
