Chapter 7 Exchange

Fan Xin glanced towards the teaching building, stood up and walked towards it.

She walked casually, neither fast nor slow, and walked slowly towards the teaching building.

Jiang Hao stood on the second floor of the cafeteria, squinting his eyes and watching Fan Xin walking away.

He didn't know if it was his illusion, but when he saw the zombie's head being smashed, a white thing inside disappeared when it touched Fan Xin's iron rod.

He moved closer to the glass and looked carefully, but Fan Xin had already gone upstairs.

Is there something in the zombie's head? Or is he just dazzled?

In most apocalyptic stories, zombies appear. Part of the setting is that there is something called crystal core in the zombies' brains, which can be used to enhance human strength and can also be used as currency.

When the end of the world came, he led a group of his brothers and friends to occupy this place, but he did not confront the zombies head-on, nor did he kill any zombies. It seems that he needs to verify whether there is something in the zombies' brains.

When Fan Xin reached the third floor, he walked towards the classroom where someone had waved clothes before.

There were people hiding in several classrooms he passed by. Fan Xin walked past and cleared out the zombies in the corridor.

Everyone in the classroom came out and followed Fan Xin.

"Brother, is what you just wrote down true?" Someone licked his lips and stared at the backpack on Fan Xin's back with burning eyes.

The backpack was so big, half as tall as Fan Xin, and it was filled to the brim. The eyes of those who had been hungry for several days turned green.

Fan Xin glanced at the boy who asked the question and nodded slightly.

"What blood do you want in exchange?" Another person took a look at the steel bar stained with zombie blood in Fan Xin's hand, fear flashed in his eyes, and he didn't dare to get too close, and asked carefully.

Fan Xin raised his hand and pointed at them.

At this time, they had arrived at the classroom where someone was waving clothes. The doors and windows of the classroom were closed. Fan Xin raised his hand and knocked on the door.

After a while, the classroom door was opened, and a thin boy was startled to see a large group of people behind Fan Xin.

Fan Xin had already walked in, followed by a group of people. These people looked back and forth between Fan Xin and the thin boy with flickering eyes.

Fan Xin lowered her head, typed a line of words on her phone, and held the screen upright in front of the thin boy.

"Weapons? Or food?"

The boy swallowed, glanced at the group of people who were watching him eagerly, gritted his teeth, and said in a hoarse voice, "Weapons and food."

Fan Xin raised her eyebrows and nodded. After cleaning the blood off her body, she took out a blood collection needle from her backpack, pressed the boy onto a chair, and inserted the needle to draw blood. The series of movements were smooth and fluid.

400ml of the boy's blood was quickly drawn.

After Fan Xin pulled out the needle, he took out five bags of instant noodles, a bottle of mineral water, and a long machete from his backpack.

The boy didn't bother to press the needle hole on his arm. He quickly hid in the corner with instant noodles, water and a machete. He stared vigilantly at the group of people behind Fan Xin, then hurriedly opened a bag of instant noodles and took a big bite.

Fan Xin collected the blood and looked at those people who were ready to make a move.

It was too troublesome not being able to speak, so Fan Xin took out his mobile phone, slowly typed a line of words, and held the screen upright in front of the group of people.

"If you want food, exchange your blood with me. If you try to steal others', don't blame me for treating you like zombies."

Everyone clearly saw a line of words on Fan Xin's mobile phone screen, and the image of Fan Xin swinging the steel bar in his hand to blow a zombie's head off instantly appeared in their minds.

For a moment, everyone felt a chill on the back of their head.

"I, I want to exchange food." A girl squeezed to the front, looking at the backpack next to Fan Xin with fear and desire.

Although they were startled by Fan Xin, when they saw the boy over there munching on instant noodles, the others also reacted and rushed to squeeze next to Fan Xin.

"I, I want to exchange food too."

"Me too. I'll go first. I'm not afraid of pain."

A boy squeezed to the front, rolled up his sleeves, and stared at Fan Xin excitedly.

Fan Xin had a blank expression on her face. She deleted the previous words on her phone and typed two new words: "Queue."

Everyone was afraid of Fan Xin from the bottom of their hearts. After seeing the words on the screen clearly, they didn't dare to squeeze in and lined up obediently.

Fan Xin drew blood from them one by one. When the blood in the blood bag reached 200ml, he stopped drawing blood and gave the food to them.

If she wanted both food and weapons, she would draw 400ml of blood.

Fan Xin drew nearly 5,000 ml of blood from about ten people. Few people wanted weapons and food, but some people asked for double the amount of food.

After Fan Xin put the blood bag into his backpack, he stood up and left the classroom.

Those who were still busy eating saw Fan Xin leaving and followed him, just like before.

When Fan Xin came to school, she was fully prepared. She put the opened blood draw tube in her pocket. The bloody smell in the tube would spread out, and the zombies closer to her would mistake her for a human.

At this moment, Fan Xin was followed by a large group of people, and all the zombies on the third floor who were not shot in the head by Fan Xin gathered here.

However, Fan Xin had already cleaned up a lot of them before, so there were only a few scattered zombies left on the third floor, which posed no threat to this group of people.

Fan Xin walked to the stairs, glanced at the zombies staggering towards him, and waved the steel bar in his hand towards the group of people behind him.

The group of students were so frightened that they stepped back one after another and almost fell down as they were crowded together.

"Brother... Boss, what's wrong?" A boy in the front had a layer of sweat on his forehead and looked nervously at the iron rod in Fan Xin's hand.

They saw with their own eyes that Fan Xin used this steel bar to blow off a zombie's head in one blow, and no one wanted to try the power of this thing.

Fan Xin had a blank expression on her face as she typed a few words on her phone: "Transaction completed."

Her eyes were like those of a poisonous snake, cold and terrifying. This group of people felt a chill on their backs. For the first time, they truly experienced the meaning of murderous intent.

Fan Xin turned around and went downstairs, and the people behind him didn't dare to follow him.

When Fan Xin left the second floor, the zombies on the second floor seemed to have discovered the people on the third floor. They roared at the stairs, pounced on the stairs, and climbed up to the third floor.

"Run!" Seeing so many zombies, they were so scared that they turned around and ran, but who knew there were three more zombies behind them!

The man with the weapon looked nervously towards the stairs. There were so many zombies that he didn't know how many there were. He then looked at the three zombies blocking the way and swallowed.

"How many of you have machetes? These zombies are very slow. If we work together, we should be able to take care of these three..."

With weapons in hand, it is really not difficult to deal with three zombies.

Four people here took the machetes from Fan Xin's hands and hacked at the zombies together, killing three of them.

Before the zombies on the second floor climbed up, he quickly ran into a classroom and blocked the doors and windows with tables, chairs and benches.

Fan Xin returned to the playground, took out a smaller piece of advertising cloth, and wrote on the back: "Sold out, come back tomorrow."

After watching Fan Xin write these contents, Jiang Hao turned around and left the school. However, because the zombies were too far away from Fan Xin, they were unable to catch up with Fan Xin's slow pace before Fan Xin left the school.

So, he didn't have the chance to see Fan Xin take action.

Jiang Hao pondered for a moment, then suddenly kicked Wen Shuqi's foot: "Wen Shuqi, go downstairs and see if there are any tools that can help you."

"Brother Hao?" The clerk was stunned for a moment.

"Go quickly." Jiang Hao kicked him in the butt.

Wenshuqi cried out, rubbed his butt, and not daring to delay any longer, he ran downstairs and searched the kitchen for tools. He brought everything in the kitchen that could be used as a weapon upstairs.

"Brother Hao, look, is there anything I can use?"

Jiang Hao looked around inside and finally took out a bone-chopping knife and an iron rod. He shook the two things, walked over, pulled down the curtains, tore them into strips, and started tying them up.

"Brother Hao, what are you going to do?" The others looked at Jiang Hao's actions and looked at each other.

Jiang Hao didn't say anything. After a while, he tightly wrapped the bone-chopping knife and the iron rod together to make a simple long axe.

"Wen Shuqi, come downstairs with me and stand guard at the door. Open it for me later. Got it?"

"Ah? Hao, Brother Hao, you want to go out?" Wen Shuqi swallowed. Although a lot of zombies outside had been cleared out by that inexplicable person before, there were still so many zombies near the cafeteria.

Seeing Jiang Hao was about to leave, Wen Shuqi felt unwell and his face turned frighteningly pale.

There were people who rushed out in the past few days, especially those in the teaching building. Some people were so hungry that they couldn't stand it anymore and wanted to rush out, but what was the outcome?

Those who rushed out were all surrounded and bitten by zombies, and soon became one of the zombies.

"Brother Hao, how about we wait a little longer?" Wen Shuqi rubbed his hands nervously, cold sweat breaking out on his forehead due to anxiety.

Jiang Hao glanced at Wen Shuqi indifferently, then walked downstairs holding his homemade long axe.

Seeing this, Wenshuqi opened his mouth, but finally gritted his teeth and followed.

The people on the second floor looked at each other, glanced uneasily at the stairs, and then looked outside: "Why did Brother Hao go downstairs?"

"Brother Hao, are you planning to go out? It's too dangerous to go out at this time, right?"

"I'll go down and take a look." A girl couldn't help it, so she quickly ran to the stairs and followed him down.

The rest of the people felt a little uneasy and worried. Two boys followed them downstairs to take a look. Then, one by one, they couldn't stay on the second floor anymore and came downstairs one after another.

The moment Jiang Hao walked out of the cafeteria door, he attracted zombies, and one of the zombies closest to him pounced towards him.

To be honest, when the zombies' faces were pale, their eyes were bloodshot, and they opened their mouths and roared as they pounced on you, it was very terrifying and made people feel scared at first sight.

After all, this thing is no longer a human being, and it will make people feel a sense of fear and terror from the bottom of their hearts.

Jiang Hao narrowed his eyes and took a step back, calculating the distance. He raised the bone-chopping knife tied to the front of the steel pipe and slashed it hard at the zombie's neck.

The veins in his arms bulged as he used all his strength. The zombie's head flew up and rolled to the ground, separated from the body.

As the head fell, the zombie that was originally rushing towards him with its fangs and claws bared suddenly stopped moving and fell straight to the ground.

The movement here alarmed the surrounding zombies. Looking at the hordes of zombies rushing towards this place, Jiang Hao split the head of a zombie lying on the ground with a knife, and saw the thumb-sized white sphere in the zombie's brain at a glance.

He quickly picked it up, turned around and ran towards the cafeteria door.

Wen Shuqi had been paying attention to Jiang Hao's movements. When he saw Jiang Hao coming back, he hurriedly opened the door, waited for Jiang Hao to rush in, and then quickly closed the door.
