141 A hint of doubt

During lunch, everyone was a little absent-minded.

Qi Qiuxue was awakened by the sound of footsteps outside the door.
Sensing danger approaching, she sat up suddenly in the dark and woke up the others as quickly as possible.
Before anyone could react to what was happening, the door was kicked open and several monsters rushed in.
"Why are they here again?" Wu Shanyue clenched his gun tightly and quickly adjusted to combat mode, saying in shock, "We've sealed almost all the doors and windows!"

The monster was unable to dodge and was hit by Qi Qiuxue's knife. In an instant, blue blood gushed out from the wound.
Without waiting for its reaction, Qi Qiuxue continued to attack. For this kind of monster whose details were unknown, it was best to fight quickly and kill it in the shortest time possible.
"Sister Liu, Ah Wen!" At the same time, she opened her mouth and ordered Liu Ge and Su Wen, who were closest to the door, "Find the right opportunity to leave the room and call Mom over."
"Okay." Liu Ge nodded. He was originally planning to take out his weapon and join the battle, but after hearing what Qi Qiuxue said, he immediately changed his mind. He grabbed Su Wen, who had not yet had time to take out his weapon, and found the right opportunity to rush out of the room.

Qi Qiuxue and others took a breath without any precautions and started coughing because of the pungent smell.
The monsters stopped attacking briefly and stood there as if observing their reaction, but the gas dissipated and nothing happened to the three of them except for violent coughing.
The monsters looked at each other in shock.
Outside the door, footsteps were heard coming from far away. The monsters suddenly looked a little panicked, as if they were afraid of something.
They gave up the attack and fled out of the door quickly. Qi Qiuxue quickly followed them out to take a look. They jumped down from the second floor and went into the room facing the door.
It seems they broke in from there.
Qi Qiuxue didn't linger and turned to the window. The monsters had already escaped from the facility and dived into the dark and lush jungle around them.
