Chapter 15. Four snipers, six more below. ...

There are four snipers, and six more below them.

The people downstairs could hear the footsteps getting very close.

Time waits for no one.

Gu Sheng recalled the scene inside the room just now. The room was very empty, and there was nowhere to hide.

However, in order to raise the chair where Jiang Yuan was sitting, a lot of miscellaneous items were piled up under the chair, so that he could hide there.

Just as Gu Sheng was pondering, two more gunshots rang out from inside the room, followed by Jiang Yuan's furious voice: "A bunch of useless trash."

Great, there are only four people left.

Jiang Yuan walked back to his seat and sat down, coldly staring at the door in the darkness: "Have the people downstairs not come up yet?"

One of the four survivors said in a trembling voice, "They'll be here soon."

Seeing that Jiang Yuan didn't force them to leave, the man felt somewhat relieved.

Just as he was feeling relieved, a bullet pierced his heart.

Gu Sheng appeared in the room like a ghost.

He fired four shots, three people fell, and one person dodged. That person was obviously prepared, and while everyone else's attention was on Jiang Yuan, he kept staring at the door.

Gu Sheng clicked his tongue.

A bullet was wasted.

The moment he peeked out, a sniper had already spotted him, but Gu Sheng dodged a volley of shots using his serpentine movements.

He quickly ran to the pile of debris, but before he could hide, a bullet grazed his eye.

This direction.

Gu Sheng didn't turn his head, but he knew that Jiang Yuan had fired the shot.

I forgot about him.

Gu Sheng crouched down next to the clutter and fired at the sniper facing him. The sniper also fired at the same time.

Gu Sheng lowered his head as a bullet flew over his head.

The sniper wasn't so lucky; he was killed with a single shot.

Gu Sheng clenched his fist and mentally exclaimed "Y!" He was too amazing; Gu Sheng felt like he was about to fall in love with him.

After taking down a sniper, Gu Sheng's position became a blind spot in the room, and he was temporarily safe.

Five shots took out four people, including Jiang Yuan, leaving five people.

Gu Sheng took out the used magazine and replaced it with a new one.

Then he closed his eyes and prayed: God help him, he can do it.

Gu Sheng opened his eyes, relaxed his body, and decided to let his body's instincts guide him.

He took out another gun, and after confirming that it was working properly, he moved a little to the left. He simply extended the gun and fired it from memory. After the gunshot, there was a sound of a heavy object falling to the ground.

one.

Then, as they focused their attention on the left, Gu Sheng extended his right hand and fired again, relying on his memory.

Another one.

As Gu Sheng rushed out from the left, he fired simultaneously with his left hand below and his right hand above.

The survivors who had slipped through the net and the last sniper fell to the ground.

After firing the shot, Gu Sheng immediately shrank back, a bullet flying past his hand.

Gu Sheng stood up, jumped onto the pile of debris, and fired a shot at Jiang Yuan below, knocking the gun out of his hand.

Gu Sheng continued to approach Jiang Yong, who retreated in a panic.

Noisy footsteps came from outside; people were coming up.

Gu Sheng whispered to Jiang Yong, "If they come in, you're dead." Then he continued walking in Jiang Yong's direction.

Jiang Yong retreated to the wall, with nowhere left to go, and the dark muzzle of a gun was pointed directly at him.

Jiang Yong shouted, "Stop!"

The group of people outside stopped instantly. Gu Sheng had already walked up to Jiang Yong and pressed the muzzle of his gun against his chin.

To Gu Sheng's surprise, Jiang Yong actually laughed even with a gun pointed at him.

"You're even more amazing than I imagined."

Gu Sheng didn't speak, but just stared at him coldly.

Jiang Yong looked towards the door and said, "It's fine here, don't go near here, go back."

The footsteps outside were hesitant, but they dared not disobey Jiang Yong's orders, so they retreated, but did not go downstairs and remained at the stairwell.

Gu Sheng glanced at the doorway as well: "They seem to care about you quite a bit."

Jiang Yong gently pushed the gun barrel outwards with his hand: "After all, they are all dying men. Without me, they can only go to hell."

Gu Sheng gripped the gun tightly, preventing Jiang Yong from pushing it away: "Let them go down."

Jiang Yong shrugged: "That's not up to me. They don't obey every order." He looked at Gu Sheng, "I just ordered them to go out and kill you, but they didn't go."

Gu Sheng looked at Jiang Yongmei as he spoke.

Jiang Yong raised an eyebrow and said, "Since you didn't kill me, it means I'm useful. Don't be so serious, why don't we sit down and talk?"

Seeing Jiang Yong's relaxed expression, Gu Sheng silently aimed the other gun at his thigh and pulled the trigger.

The gunshots were partially muted, but in the empty room, the sound was still jarring.

The footsteps outside became chaotic.

Gu Sheng forcefully wedged Jiang Yuan between himself and the wall, using the gun pressed against Jiang Yuan's chin to prop him up as he instinctively tried to curl up in pain.

Jiang Yuan's breathing became heavy, and cold sweat broke out on his forehead.

He stared wide-eyed at Gu Sheng.

Having just narrowly escaped death several times, Gu Sheng felt he had been very merciful to Jiang Yuan.

Gu Sheng simply stared at Jiang Yuan expressionlessly, pressing the muzzle of his gun against the spot where Jiang Yuan had just been shot.

Jiang Yuan gasped for breath, then shouted outside, "Get out." Hearing no response, he yelled irritably, "Get out!"

Then, the people outside finally made a move; after that roar, they quickly left the floor.

After hearing the footsteps outside disappear, Gu Sheng said, "They're quite obedient."

The smile vanished from Jiang Yong's face. He looked at Gu Sheng and asked, "Are you going to kill me?"

Gu Sheng said, "That depends on you."

Jiang Yong narrowed his eyes: "What do you want me to do?"

Gu Sheng said, "It's nothing, I just wanted to ask you something."

After saying that, Gu Sheng took off Jiang Yong's coat halfway and used it as a rope to bind Jiang Yong's hands.

Then Gu Sheng dragged Jiang Yong to the chair. There were nylon ropes in the pile of junk under the chair. Gu Sheng used the ropes to tie Jiang Yong up tightly, making sure he couldn't move at all before stopping.

During the binding process, Gu Sheng would occasionally touch Jiang Yong's injured leg, causing Jiang Yong to involuntarily gasp and his eyes to twitch from time to time.

After tying it up, Gu Sheng clapped his hands.

He looked at Jiang Yong's injured leg and said, "Do you want me to treat it for you?"

It's been bleeding and it hurts so much, but Gu Sheng isn't sure if he knows how to bandage it.

Jiang Yong sneered: "No need for you to worry about it. Just ask whatever you want."

Gu Sheng sat down next to Jiang Yong and asked, "Tell me about the Ouroboros organization."

Jiang Yong frowned and looked Gu Sheng up and down: "Shouldn't you know more than I do?"

Gu Sheng didn't speak, but just looked at him silently.

Jiang Yong pursed his lips and said, "Ouroboros, this organization is great. The leaders are understanding, the colleagues get along well, and the work is very interesting."

Now it was Gu Sheng's turn to frown. Was this referring to the ouroboros that Gu Sheng knew about?

Gu Sheng said, "Answer properly, and I will leave once I get the answer I want."

Jiang Yong looked puzzled, seemingly unsure why Gu Sheng had asked that question, but he also wanted to end this farce as soon as possible.

Jiang Yong said, "I don't know much about this organization. The boss approached me and said there was money to be made, so I came. But," he snorted, "what I got was less than what I used to earn doing business on my own."

Gu Sheng was a little curious, so he asked, "How much money did you get?"

Jiang Yong's eyes were full of resentment: "It's about 100 million. I've earned so much in four years, but this is all I get. I have so many people to support. How can this be enough?"

One hundred million is not a small amount, but when Gu Sheng thought about the stacks of black cards under his bed, it seemed a bit small in comparison.

Gu Sheng said, "Continue."

Jiang Yuan said, "I don't know much either, I only know the general composition of the organization: the one in charge of scouting is called Xu Hao, then there's you, you're in charge of stealing, and then there's me, I'm in charge of transportation."

He continued, “I will deliver the item to the designated location, and then someone will come to pick it up. It’s a woman, very mysterious. I’ve never seen her before, and I don’t know her name. After she takes it, she will give the item to the boss. The boss’s surname is Jin, but I don’t know his given name. The boss is in charge of making the counterfeit. Then we will repeat the process in reverse and put the item back.”

So, ouroboros only has five members.

Gu Sheng asked, "Are there only five people?"

Jiang Yuan said, "Of course, there are more than five people. After the counterfeit was made, the woman who picked it up was also responsible for finding a buyer to sell the counterfeit, and another person was responsible for laundering the money received."

He looked at Gu Sheng and said, "So, there are six people in total." He tilted his head. "Actually, saying six people isn't accurate. After all, there are quite a few people like me who have a group of people under their command, but they don't participate in Ouroboros' activities."

Gu Sheng asked, "You joined Ouroboros just for the money?"

Jiang Yong laughed: "Otherwise, if my previous business hadn't been so bad, I wouldn't be here working as a deliveryman. Delivering goods sounds easy, but it's actually very dangerous. I often have to cross many cities and go through countless inspections along the way. If there's even the slightest mistake, I'm finished."

Gu Sheng nodded inwardly. Not bad, at least they now knew how many people the Ouroboros had.

Then Gu Sheng asked a question that had always puzzled him: "Why do you always leave a mark after stealing something?"

Upon hearing this question, Jiang Yong looked at Gu Sheng with a strange expression: "Didn't you carve those marks? I thought it was because you liked them."

Jiang Yong is right, those marks were indeed carved by Gu Sheng, but Gu Sheng really didn't know why he carved those marks.

However, judging from Jiang Yong's expression, he probably didn't know either.

Gu Sheng said, "And then?" Let's talk about something else.

Jiang Yong looked at Gu Sheng and said, "Are you really Gu Sheng?"

Being suspected? That's normal, after all, Gu Sheng never intended to hide it. But he certainly wouldn't admit it, because: "I am Gu Sheng." He is Gu Sheng. The problem is the Gu Sheng that Jiang Yong knows, not him.

Jiang Yong looked at Gu Sheng and said, "The voice is correct, and with such good skills, if someone could replace you silently, I would feel terrified."

He shrugged: "Besides, this has nothing to do with me. I've told you everything I know. Can you let me go now? I'm leaving this city, and we probably won't see each other again."

Gu Sheng frowned. That's all you know? Asking is like asking nothing at all.

Seeing Gu Sheng's displeasure, Jiang Yong said, "I'm a very simple person. I come when there's money to be made, and I leave when there's no money. I don't ask about anything else. After all, the more you know, the faster you die. I don't know anything, so I just run away. Usually, no one will come looking for me."

Gu Sheng looked at Jiang Yong and couldn't see any sign that he was lying. He could only accept reality; after all that trouble, this was all the information he had gotten.

He looked at the corpses scattered on the ground below, wondering whether he should call Li Qingyue to handle the situation, and what he should say when Li Qingyue arrived.

Gu Sheng rubbed his temples, deciding to hold off for now and wait until they found the leader of the Ouroboros.

Gu Sheng turned to look at Jiang Yong, suddenly feeling playful.

Life is too tough these days, so I have to find my own fun.

Gu Sheng squatted down next to Jiang Yong. He saw that Jiang Yong's leg had stopped bleeding because of his superb binding skills, but if it wasn't treated soon, he would lose his leg.

Gu Sheng looked away; now was not the time to talk about this. He asked, "What do you think I should do next?"

Jiang Yong looked at Gu Sheng and said, "You should let me go and leave this place, or just leave now."

Gu Sheng laughed, and Jiang Yong's face darkened as he looked at Gu Sheng's smile: "So you still want to kill me after all."

Gu Sheng shook his head. He touched his clothes but couldn't find his phone. Then he remembered that he hadn't brought his phone with him just in case.

Gu Sheng patted Jiang Yong's body and quickly pulled out Jiang Yong's phone.

Then Gu Sheng made a phone call in front of Jiang Yong.

Upon seeing the phone number, Jiang Yong stared wide-eyed at Gu Sheng in disbelief, and roared, "You're going to call the sheriff? Are you crazy?"

Yes, Gu Sheng wanted to report it to the sheriff.

Gu Sheng picked up a piece of rag from the ground and stuffed it into Jiang Yong's mouth to prevent him from making a sound.

After the call connected, Gu Sheng lowered his voice and changed his tone, saying, "There are armed groups fighting. Yes, that's right. There are many armed people here. You must be careful when you come. It's best not to disturb them beforehand."

Then he told the person on the other end of the phone his location and hung up.

Jiang Yong was pale from excessive blood loss. He stared at Gu Sheng with wide eyes and made muffled noises.

Gu Sheng glanced at the time and said, "The nearest police station will arrive here in about half an hour. Add in preparation time, so it'll be about fifty minutes."
