Chapter 29 Un Entertainment Jiang Yang's inner monologue: Learn something good from Ji Yang...

"How about we split up?"

The Ghost's rules disrupted Jiang Yang's original plans, and his intentions were quite clear.

The two sides were locked in a stalemate for a moment. Huang Er grabbed the man's shoulder with his arm and dragged him to the side. "Are you going to kick me while I'm down?" He deliberately lowered his voice, but you could still hear the gritted teeth in his voice.

Jiang Yang forcefully pushed Huang Er away, rubbing her neck, and said, "Let me finish speaking," before walking back.

Initially, he did intend to cooperate with Meng Jiang, but cooperation was no longer the best solution for him at the moment, but that did not mean he was willing to owe Meng Jiang anything.

Huang Er followed behind the man with a cigarette dangling from his mouth, but he didn't light it. He saw Jiang Yang standing in front of Meng Jiang, saying, "I will give Azi 25% of his life points."

In this way, it's equivalent to Meng Jiang being directly bound to Azi after opening the box.

Meng Jiang tilted his head but didn't speak. Jiang Yang waited patiently for a reply, certain that Meng Jiang wouldn't refuse.

"Can."

That would settle their score.

However, the moment Jiang Yang gave his life points to Azi, he felt the changes happening within his body.

It was as if something was slowly being pulled away; the moment Huang Er saw it, the cigarette in his mouth fell to the ground with a plop.

The first question they asked was, "How old were you before?"

Before? Jiang Yang tilted her head and looked at him, puzzled.

Huang Er asked again, "How old are you this year?"

25.

Jiang Yang subconsciously touched his face, his fingers brushing against the stubble around his lips. His eyes widened. "How old am I now?"

Huang Er bent down to pick up the cigarette, looking cautiously at Jiang Yang's face, "Thirty...fifteen."

Of course, Huang Er's judgment was based solely on Jiang Yang's appearance, but Jiang Yang's lack of experience meant that the clarity in her eyes couldn't possibly mask her age.

The two of them tacitly turned their gazes to Meng Jiang, who was bound to A Zi. They wondered if the consequences of Meng Jiang's life points decreasing would be the same as Jiang Yang's.

Meng Jiang didn't try to hide it. He nodded to Azi, raised his finger in front of everyone, and started operating the panel openly. The next second, Jiang Yang was shocked by this dramatic change.

The loss of 50% of his health has turned a person who was originally no more than thirty years old into someone with graying temples in the blink of an eye.

The most significant impact of sudden aging is on a person's spirit; Meng Jiang's once resolute eyes now showed an undeniable weariness.

Azi looked worried, but Mengjiang didn't react much. He left with the words "See you again if fate allows," and turned to leave with Azi.

"Sigh, actually I think it's pretty good this way too, I can still see what I look like when I'm old," Huang Er sighed. Unless you're too old when you come to the No Man's Land, very few people can live for so many years here.

Jiang Yang glanced at him sideways, her voice unconsciously cold as she spoke, "They haven't gone far yet, they should be happy for you to go and feed them, don't you think?"

Huang Er casually glanced around; there weren't many boxes left in the forest. He turned back and touched his nose. "So, what's your next plan?"

"Get a protection agreement."

If a fight is inevitable, then he wants to achieve it without bloodshed.

"The question is, what conditions will the conservation association offer next? Are we just going to wait here?"

Last time, it started with ten animals dying in the forest, but this time...

"How about we take a gamble?"

Jiang Yang took out the rat-shaped noodles and shook them. Although his words were unreliable, his face was full of sincerity.

Huang Er realized that he wasn't unable to refuse Jiang Yang, but rather unable to refuse someone who would sincerely ask for his opinion with blinking eyes.

Although his opinion might not mean much to Jiang Yang.

"Dry!"

[Un Entertainment Observation Room - Jiang Yang's Perspective]

"Actually, to be honest, I couldn't refuse either, hahaha..."

"Does anyone else think Xiao Jiang's look is really...uncool? (Like a married woman...)"

"Help! Jiang's mother! Jiang's mother!"

"That's right, a beard is a man's greatest weapon! Hehehe!"

To his utter surprise, what appeared before him after the countdown to the hidden mission ended was...

Ji Yang!

"Hey, what a coincidence," Jiang Yang said, raising his hand and baring his teeth as he waved his arm, feeling a guilty sense of having been caught doing something wrong.

Ji Yang hesitated for a moment, then looked the person up and down. "Jiang...Yang?"

Ten minutes ago, after receiving a message from Nan Ke, Ji Yang raised the sword of justice high and swung it to break the iron chains binding him. He then left the cage and went to Nan Ke's place.

Once inside, Nan Ke didn't say anything else and simply handed the options to Ji Yang.

Before leaving, he told Ji Yang, "I can't get in touch with Jiang Yang."

At that moment, Jiang Yang, whom he couldn't contact, was right in front of Ji Yang. The stubble on the young man's face stung Ji Yang's eyes.

"What about Nan Ke?" Jiang Yang asked.

Ji Yang's location resembled a prison; the empty room had a wooden bed placed along the wall, and not far away was an iron door with a small, openwork window.

Jiang Yang peered out from the doorway; the corridor was lined with such iron doors.

"I don't know, but you should be able to contact him once you arrive," if he's currently on the same level as Jiang Yang.

Jiang Yang opened the panel, and sure enough, the chat window with Nan Ke lit up. She hurriedly typed, "Where are you?"

Just as he was pondering what to say, a furious curse suddenly came from a few rooms away: "Damn it! Where am I?!"

"It's Huang Er!"

Jiang Yang pulled back up, but just as he was about to shout into the corridor, Ji Yang gave a short "shh," which made him quickly pull back.

Turning around, "What's wrong?"

"Didn't you notice how quiet it is here?"

Listening carefully, there seemed to be no sound. If there was someone there, then perhaps...

"What will happen to Huang Er then!"

"Don't worry, he knows what he's doing."

[Un Entertainment Observation Room - Jiang Yang's Perspective]

"Hahaha, it feels like both of them are after Huang Erkeng, help!"

"It's okay, we're all family, don't be afraid, hahahahaha."

Huang Er: Screw our own people!

Not long after, Huang Er, who was within striking distance, was pushed out by several people in security guard uniforms. Jiang Yang observed that the security guards used a key to open the door.

The security guard escorted Huang Er past their gate. Huang Er tilted his head and winked at Jiang Yang inside the fence. It seemed that this was indeed part of his plan, so he breathed a sigh of relief.

"So how do we get out now?"

"wait."

? ?

"Wait for what?"

"Wait until you get in touch with Nan Ke."

Ji Yang's explanation.

Before Nan Ke's maze, as Nan Ke was struggling to choose between Li Tangyi and Hu Xiaofeng, he stared at the screen shared by Nan Ke and suddenly pointed his index finger to the side.

"Hu Jin?"

"He is a security guard."

The exploration of Hu Xiaofeng can wait, while the consideration of Li Tangyi should be focused on Hu Jin.

Jiang Yang nodded in agreement, staring thoughtfully at the iron gate.

"Don't even think about it. This place is different from a cage. You can't force it open with external force."

Not embarrassed by being exposed, Jiang Yang shrugged indifferently.

Ji Yang then explained, "Our mission is to escape this prison."

So, figuring out how to get out of the cell was naturally part of their mission.

"So how did you get here?" Ji Yang asked in return.

Jiang Yang took out the rat mask that had been automatically retrieved by the system, intending to hand it to Ji Yang. However, the moment he touched it, a chill seeped out from the mask, and half of his arm instantly stiffened.

Ji Yang slapped the man's forearm hard, and the rat-faced mask fell to the ground. A crack appeared in the middle of the mask, splitting open the three-lobed mouth, making it look particularly eerie.

Jiang Yang was still shaken. "What happened?"

"It must be because it's been used too many times."

Ji Yang methodically rolled up Jiang Yang's sleeves, took out a bottle of inhibitor, and sprayed it on Jiang Yang's fair arm.

As the cold air was forced out, Jiang Yang moved her arm slightly, and the tense feeling gradually dissipated.

Seeing that Jiang Yang was alright, Ji Yang released his grip and asked in a low voice, "So what mission are you here for this time?"

Strangely enough, the moment Jiang Yang put on the rat mask this time, the system only said that the hidden mission would start in one minute, but there was no specific mission content after one minute.

He still prefers a more equal exchange, since he doesn't have a very good feeling about the rat-faced guy these days.

Suddenly the corridor became lively, and many people, including Jiang Yang, were peering out of the windows. Jiang Yang was also able to see the people in the other cages.

He looked no different from a normal person, except that his sunken cheeks made him look exceptionally thin.

Outside the corridor, Roue, like a traveling lecturer, came from afar with several security guards. He then stopped at a room not far from Jiang Yang's cell, which Jiang Yang guessed was the middle of the corridor.

Roue arrogantly swept his head across the people leaning out of the window with disdain, cleared his throat with a light cough, and said in a contemptuous tone, "Consider yourselves lucky. The security team is now accepting applications. There aren't many spots available, so it's first come, first served."

There was a chorus of responses from the prison, and he nodded in satisfaction.

Jiang Yang wanted to ask Ji Yang for his opinion, but instead received a message from Nan Ke.

Seeing that people were already walking out, Jiang Yang quickly reached out her hand, "Me! I'll go!"

Ji Yang walked over, and before he could speak, his arm stretched out like his body. Then Jiang Yang tiptoed and whispered in his ear, "Nan Ke said it."

Roue confirmed the candidates first, and Ji Yang and Jiang Yang were among them. The security guards opened the doors one by one outside. Many of the people who came out of the prison couldn't help but cry, which made Roue snort heavily.

Ji Yang nudged Jiang Yang with his arm, and Jiang Yang followed his gaze, chewing softly, "Hu Jin is here too."

After the two went out, they stood quietly beside Hu Jin.

A group of people lined up behind the security guard. When they passed Roue, Jiang Yang subconsciously lowered his head. But Roue didn't seem to be the one who had a grudge against them. He touched his belly and nodded repeatedly with satisfaction.

Jiang Yang carefully sent a message to Nan Ke from her pocket, "I've registered, what's next?"

Nan Ke replied, "Wait."

Jiang Yang's inner monologue: I should learn something good from Ji Yang. He's really putting on airs.
