"I don't know." Pei Jing replied.
Jiang Zhaoyue asked again: "Then where did he go?"
Pei Jing still replied: "I don't know."
Jiang Zhaoyue asked again: "When will he come back?"
"The Second Master didn't say that." Pei Jing replied.
Xiangqiao couldn't help but ask, "Then what do you know?"
Pei Jing scratched the back of his head: "Just follow the Second Master."
Xiangqiao couldn't refute it.
Jiang Zhaoyue didn't make things difficult for him: "Then go ahead."
"Yes, I'll take my leave." Pei Jing left.
Jiang Zhaoyue sat back in his chair.
Xiangqiao stepped forward and asked, "Second Madam, are we going to set up dinner now?"
Jiang Zhaoyue nodded.
Xiangqiao immediately went to work.
Jiang Zhaoyue had dinner alone. Pei Jingzhou had not returned yet, so she went to the yard to digest the food and slept with her quilt in her arms at night.
The next morning, she opened her eyes and lay down in Pei Jingzhou's place again. She didn't know when Pei Jingzhou came back or when he left. When she saw Xiang Qiao, she asked, "When did the Second Master come back last night?"
"The second master didn't come back last night." Xiang Qiao said.
Jiang Zhaoyue was surprised: "Didn't come back?"
Xiangqiao nodded: "Yes."
After being married for so long, Pei Jingzhou was always busy, but he would come back every night. Today was the first time he didn't come back. She thought of Zhang Siyin's words again and couldn't help but worry: "Has Pei Jing come back?"

Jiang Zhaoyue asked again: "Is the Duke at home?"
