Xue Xiaodie sat at her desk, facing the computer, but her eyes were not focused on the screen. Her gaze seemed to pierce through everything in front of her, looking into the distant void.
The girl muttered to herself, "Something's not right. He shouldn't have found a job so early..."
In her memory, Lu Zhe's unemployment should have lasted for several months, until the peak job-hunting season for recent graduates passed, when he finally found an ordinary, unremarkable job. These past few months should have been enough time to win him over and solidify their relationship.
But now, why has the world line changed? Is this the so-called butterfly effect?
Xue Xiaodie reflected on her actions over the past few days. Indeed, they were different from those before her rebirth, but they shouldn't affect Lu Zhe's job search progress.
