As soon as he picked her up, Xue Xiaodie woke up. She instinctively tried to struggle, but before she could even exert any force, she realized her predicament and froze.
Lu Zhe looked down at her and said softly, "Awake?"
Xue Xiaodie asked in astonishment, "What are you doing?"
Lu Zhe: "I'll carry you inside to sleep. Otherwise, I can't just let you sleep on the sofa."
Xue Xiaodie: "But why..."
Lu Zhe smiled and said, "Why was I holding you? It's simple, because I didn't want to wake you up, I just wanted to move you to a different sleeping spot. But now it seems I wasted my time. Should I put you down?"
Xue Xiaodie blushed and remained silent, only shaking her head slightly.
Lu Zhe carried her to the door of the second bedroom and whispered in her ear, "Please open the door for me, okay?"
Xue Xiaodie reached out, turned the doorknob, and then wrapped her arms around Lu Zhe's neck.
The girl murmured softly, "Since they've come to me like this, they can't blame me..."
Lu Zhe didn't hear him clearly, so after going inside and closing the door, he casually asked, "What did you say?"
Xue Xiaodie: "Nothing, I just wanted to ask if you're going to stay here with me?"
Lu Zhe: "I'll stay with you until you fall asleep."
Xue Xiaodie was taken aback: "The treatment is so good?"
Lu Zhe smiled and said, "Because I want to be with you."
Xue Xiaodie was stunned. Her pretty face turned red at a visible speed, as red as a ripe apple.
Lu Zhe sighed inwardly.
He discovered that, once he made up his mind, he seemed to have a knack for being a scumbag—which left him with rather complicated feelings.
