At a little past 11 p.m., Xue Xiaodie turned off her computer, said goodnight to Lu Zhe, and went back to her bedroom to prepare for bed. Since she had already taken a shower, she only needed to change her clothes before going to bed.
At 11:20, Lu Zhe, who was sitting blankly in his bedroom, received a call from Miss Tang.
