Chapter 183 Is this what a princess carry is?

Around 11 a.m., Lu Zhe finally slipped out of the office.

He practically ran to the hotel from the previous night. Since a room key was required to use the elevator, he had to ask the front desk for an extra key.

He went upstairs, took the elevator, and arrived at the door. Lu Zhe swiped his room card to open the door and went inside.

Then he saw Tang Qi huddled on the bed, tightly wrapped in the blanket.

Lu Zhe glanced back to make sure the door was closed, then looked at her and asked, "Aren't you wearing any clothes?"

Tang Qi threw back the covers, revealing the clothes she was already dressed in. Moreover, she was wearing normal casual clothes, a T-shirt and a mid-length skirt, not the maid outfit with the overly short hem she wore last night.

Lu Zhe asked, puzzled, "Since you're already dressed, why are you wrapped in a blanket?"

Tang Qi: "I... I thought it was someone cleaning a hotel room, I'm not sure if it was you."

Lu Zhe: "Even if it wasn't me, there's no need to wrap yourself in a blanket. You're already dressed, are you afraid the cleaning lady will see you?"

Tang Qi pouted, looking somewhat aggrieved: "That was just my subconscious reaction!"

Lu Zhe walked to the bedside, leaned down, and kissed her soft, delicate lips.

He straightened up and laughed, "If your goal was to act cute, then I must say, you've achieved that goal."

Tang Qi immediately protested, "Don't insult people! Who's being cute!"

Lu Zhe: "Okay, okay, no more joking around, let's hurry up and go. I snuck out, and if I'm away for too long, it'll be bad if my colleagues and bosses find out."

Tang Qi nodded, moved to the edge of the bed, and quickly found her sneakers. But as soon as she put them on and her little bottom left the bed, she immediately sat back down.

The girl's face fell: "My legs still... can't hold up."

Lu Zhe touched the delicate, small knee and asked, "Does your leg hurt?"

Tang Qi shook her head: "It does hurt, but it's soft and weak."

Lu Zhe: "It's good that it doesn't hurt. I was planning to carry you back anyway."

Tang Qi pursed her lips, seemingly wanting to say something but then stopping herself.

Lu Zhe noticed her expression and asked, "Is there anything else that's wrong?"

Tang Qi nodded weakly: "My legs don't hurt, it's another part that hurts..."

Seeing the girl's embarrassed expression, Lu Zhe slapped his forehead and suddenly realized, "Oh, that's where it hurts. Is it my fault?"

Tang Qi was on the verge of tears: "Isn't this your fault?"

Lu Zhe: "Sorry, my bad, I'll be more careful next time."

Tang Qi: "How will you be more careful next time?"

Lu Zhe couldn't help but laugh and said, "Just, a little lighter, please."

Tang Qi bit her lower lip: "Not just a little lighter, but don't take it for so long!"

Lu Zhe: "Is the protest going on for too long now? But I feel like you were quite happy back then."

Tang Qi: "Don't say that out loud!"

Although the girl pinched his arm in embarrassment and anger, the force was not strong; for Lu Zhe, it was only slightly painful.

Lu Zhe smiled and said, "Yeah, I feel the same way now. The psychological pleasure outweighs the pain you feel from pinching me."

Upon hearing this, Tang Qi immediately let go, snorted, and turned her face away.

Lu Zhe turned his back to her and squatted down.

Tang Qi: What's wrong?

Lu Zhe: "Didn't I say I'd carry you? Get on right away."

If he hadn't added the words "come on, sweetie," Tang Qi would definitely have climbed onto his back. But with those words, the girl actually developed a bit of a rebellious attitude.

Tang Qi: "No!"

Lu Zhe: "If you don't come up, I'm leaving. I have to go back to work."

As he spoke, he stood up, making a move to leave. However, he had only taken one step when the hem of his clothes was tugged at from behind.

Turning around, I saw the petite girl pouting, looking aggrieved, and saying, "Then I'll come up obediently, please don't leave..."

Because he looked so adorable, Lu Zhe couldn't help but give him another kiss.

Then, he squatted down, let Tang Qi lie on his back, and carried her out of the room.

But just as Lu Zhe was carrying Tang Qi into the elevator, he heard the girl mutter in his ear, "No, no, this won't do..."

Lu Zhe: "Why can't it work?"

Tang Qi: "My skirt is all rolled up."

The elevator walls were reflective, functioning as mirrors. So Lu Zhe turned his head to look at the side of the elevator wall and saw that the girl's skirt was indeed rolled up.

When carrying her on your back, it's inevitable that your skirt will rub against her, which is quite normal.

Lu Zhe: "Then what do we do? You didn't bring any pants either."

Tang Qi: "Yes, what should we do then..."

Lu Zhe suddenly had a brilliant idea: "How about this, I'll carry you."

Tang Qi: "How do I hug you?"

Lu Zhe: "Princess carry."

Tang Qi couldn't help but express her doubt: "Can you even lift him?"

Lu Zhe said with a relaxed expression, "You're so light, why can't I carry you? Besides, we just take a taxi when we go out, so I don't need to carry you very far."

Tang Qi thought for a moment, then hesitated before nodding, "Alright then..."

They had reached the first floor, and the elevator doors opened. Lu Zhe first carried her out of the elevator, then put her down, preparing to switch to a princess carry position.

During this process, Tang Qi inevitably needed to stand for a while. However, as soon as her feet touched the ground, her expression changed.

The girl's legs felt as heavy as lead, and were extremely weak and sore, making it impossible for her to exert any strength. To make matters worse, the pain in her legs also caused a slight ache in her lower abdomen.

Tang Qi's delicate eyebrows furrowed, and her body swayed. She grabbed the wall beside her, thankfully preventing her from falling.

Seeing her like this, Lu Zhe couldn't help but feel sorry for her.

Lu Zhe said in a low voice, "If you're in pain in the future, just tell me then, and I'll hold back."

Tang Qi nodded, about to agree, but then felt something was amiss. The girl suddenly felt that asking him to hold back in this matter made her feel like she had already lost in some way.

So Tang Qi gritted her teeth and said, "I can't stay home all day, I need to exercise!"

Lu Zhe: "Okay, okay, exercise is a good thing. Come on, put your arm around my shoulder."

As he spoke, he had already picked the girl up. One arm wrapped around her slender knees, and the other arm supported her back—a classic princess carry.

Tang Qi wrapped her arms around his shoulders, her whole body feeling weak and powerless.

Lu Zhe carried her past the hotel reception desk, drawing a surprised look from the receptionist.

Tang Qi buried her face in his chest—as if as long as she couldn't see it herself, the gazes from others could be ignored.
