After a brief ten-minute examination, Zhan Hao said goodbye and left.
After leaving the room, I took the elevator to the underground parking lot and got back into my car.
Then, Zhan Hao took out his phone, still somewhat hesitant—just now, he had taken a few photos of Lu Zhe's face without his knowledge.
Clicking on it now, sure enough, because it was taken in a hurry, the photos were a bit blurry. But even though they were a little blurry, it was still enough to make out Lu Zhe's handsome features.
Zhan Hao muttered to himself, "Brother, don't blame me, I'm just doing this for money..."
He sent all of these photos to Tang Qi's father, the big boss.
Then, I lit a cigarette, placed the ashtray in the car, and silently began to smoke. The nicotine mixed with tar entered my lungs, a familiar, pungent taste. But there was another feeling in my chest that felt truly unfamiliar.
That was guilt.
Taking photos secretly is not a good thing, but to be greedy for money and break up couples is even more shameless.
He looked down again and scrolled through the chat history, where he saw that glaring message:
[Take a couple of pictures of the assistant my daughter hired and let me see them.]
On its own, the sentence doesn't seem to convey much emotion. But Zhan Hao knows that President Tang's intentions are certainly not as simple as just 'taking a look'.
So what happens after that? What does the big boss plan to do?
Zhan Hao stubbed out his cigarette, deciding to stop thinking about it. Whatever happened afterward was none of his business. Unless, of course, he had to act as a henchman again in the part about breaking up the couple.
That's not a problem, but...
"We still need to pay more."
