Lu Zhe and Xue Xiaodie nodded in unison.
Tang Qi: "Then bye-bye."
"Okay, goodbye." Xue Xiaodie smiled and waved, then started walking west.
Tang Qi glanced at her, then quickly looked away and turned to the boy in front of her.
She asked, "Which direction do you live in?"
Lu Zhe was in a daze.
Tang Qi pouted: "Lu Zhe, I'm asking you a question!"
He snapped out of his daze and pointed east: "Over there, at the intersection ahead, the residential area across the street."
Tang Qi couldn't help but laugh: "Alright then, bye-bye!"
After saying that, the young lady turned and went into the upscale apartment building. After taking a few steps, she subconsciously looked back and saw that Lu Zhe was still standing there, seemingly reluctant to part with her.
So Tang Qi waved happily and called out, "Don't worry about me, you can go back!"
Lu Zhe nodded silently and turned to walk east.
After walking a short distance, as he reached the intersection, a series of hurried footsteps came from his side and behind.
Lu Zhe turned his head slightly, and sure enough, it was Xue Xiaodie.
The girl ran up to him, panting and holding her knees, and said, "Okay... let's go back!"
Lu Zhe looked at her, his eyes filled with complex emotions: "Why did you have to act?"
Xue Xiaodie smiled slyly: "You don't want the young lady to know that I live next door to you, do you? After all, I'm your employer, so you should at least consider her feelings."
