Chapter 64 Distracted

Xing Luxi and Mu Lin were distracted from the moment they arrived at school early in the morning.

Thinking about the delicious food that would be served soon filled me with anticipation and curiosity. I was so engrossed in the thought that I was completely absorbed in it.

Finally, Master Li couldn't stand it anymore and looked at him sternly, "Xing Luxi, repeat what I just said?"

"Huh? Spicy potato chips?"

Xing Luxi was still lost in her fantasy when she heard her own name and answered reflexively.

The air in the classroom seemed to freeze instantly, the room fell silent, and an eerie and awkward atmosphere began to spread.

A few seconds later, someone started laughing, and then the classroom was filled with the sound of students bursting into laughter.

Master Li was so angry that his face turned dark instantly, and a dangerous smile appeared on his face. "Hehe, Xing Luxi, you're really something."

"You like to eat, right? Then you'll have to copy the names of the food in the cafeteria 100 times and hand them in to me tomorrow!"

He said this with exasperation, then turned back to teaching without even looking at Xing Luxi.

Xing Luxi finally realized the foolish thing she had done under the sympathetic gazes of her classmates, her eyes filled with despair and a sense of wanting to cry but having no tears.

"Ah, no!"

That's 100 times!

"Xi Ge, keep going! I believe you can do it."

Mu Lin said gloatingly, but couldn't help laughing out loud.

"roll!"

...

Xing Luxi's low mood lasted for a long time until she heard the dinner bell ring.

Both he and Mu Lin had their eyes shining as they looked at Master Li, who was slowly walking out with his cane, their eyes filled with longing.

I wish he could walk faster!

Unfortunately, it seemed as if Master Li was deliberately going against them today, walking very slowly.

Mu Lin was anxious and at a loss, but the principle of respecting teachers and valuing the way kept replaying in his mind.

He couldn't get up from his seat before Master Li left, otherwise it wouldn't be right.

"Brother Xi, Master Li's legs are getting worse and worse, how can he be so slow? I'm so hungry."

Mu Lin poked Xing Luxi's waist, then slumped onto the table, looking listless and melancholy.

You see, he usually eats breakfast in the morning, but today he was starving all morning in order to eat the delicious food his confidante made.

I should say I started looking forward to it last night, and I even dreamed about it while I was sleeping. I dreamed about delicious food and licked my brother's toes like pig's trotters.

"Smack!!"

Suddenly, a loud slapping sound rang out, startling everyone and even scaring away Mu Lin's craving.

Seeing Xing Luxi's murderous look, Mu Lin immediately became extremely alert.

"Brother Xi... what are you doing? Don't... don't be impulsive! Impulsiveness is the devil! You can't hit Master Li!!"

Mu Lin was so excited that his voice almost cracked, but before he could finish speaking, Xing Luxi glared at him and rushed to the teacher.

She bent down and picked him up around the waist.

"Xing Luxi, what are you doing? What kind of behavior is this? Put me down!"

Master Li, his beard bristling and eyes wide, looked at the other students watching the spectacle, feeling utterly humiliated.

"Hehe...Master, I'll take you to the cafeteria."

He lowered his head to meet the incredulous gaze of his teacher.

Xing Luxi's usually cold and handsome face revealed a pure and shy silly smile. After speaking, he rushed out like a gust of wind.

Master Li was completely dumbfounded, and it took him a long time to react. "My walking stick! You brat, what are you doing?"

The other students in the classroom were completely dumbfounded, and after a long while, they couldn't help but burst into laughter.

After a moment of surprise, Mu Lin quickly recovered and caught up with him.

"Hey, Xi-ge, wait for me!!!"

Having said that, his nimble little chubby legs almost left a blur as he ran. Halfway there, he seemed to remember something and quickly picked up Master Li's cane.

"Hey, hey, hey, you two wait for us!! Are you going to buy potato chips? We want to go too!!"

Several more voices rang out, and suddenly seven or eight wealthy young men who usually seemed dignified and indifferent to everything suddenly changed and rushed out impatiently.

The picture left the other students with puzzled expressions.

"What do you guys think? Should we go too? I heard that the girl selling potato chips today will let Xing Luxi and the others try other dishes. Do you want to go and give it a try?"

"Let's go... What are we waiting for? Let's give it a try!"

…

At this moment, Zhiyin had no idea that she was about to be greeted by a group of students who were as crazy as zombies emerging from the furnace.

Cai Gang and Zhihua carried out the table, along with the boiled fish and glutinous rice, and placed them on the table.

Because she had a lot of things, she brought two tables today, and even some stools.

Looking around, it seemed that since it was still too early, only shops selling steamed buns, mantou, and osmanthus cakes, or restaurants, were open.

The vendors selling sugar paintings and vegetables that we encountered earlier have not yet arrived.

"Young lady, what are you selling? It looks strange."

Just then, a man selling bean cakes nearby sniffed the aroma wafting from Zhiyin's stall, and couldn't help but crane his neck like a giraffe to look, exclaiming, "It smells so good!"

"What a unique flavor."

Zhiyin covered the glutinous rice and boiled fish with a lid to prevent them from getting cold quickly.

She answered with a smile, "Sticky rice and spicy boiled fish."

"What? Want to try some?"
