Meanwhile, the grandparents, uncles, and aunts who couldn't dodge in time got covered in food and soup.
Everyone was in a sorry state.
They immediately stood up in panic, frantically shaking the things on their bodies.
Then they all glared angrily at Zhiyin, "Zhiyin, you little bitch, are you trying to rebel?"
"Are you out of your mind?"
Grandmother looked at the food spilled on the ground, her eyes filled with heartache and anger.
When she saw her pet black dog wagging its short legs over to eat the food on the ground, she became even more furious and kicked the dog away.
"Get out of here, you beast! Do you deserve to eat so well?"
The little black dog suddenly let out a shrill, pitiful howl.
After saying that, Grandmother stared at Zhiyin with bloodshot eyes. Seeing that Zhiyin looked like a dead pig that wasn't afraid of boiling water, she finally couldn't hold back and picked up the stool to hit Zhiyin.
Seeing this, Yao Yulin and Zhihua couldn't help but instinctively shrink back.
Zhiyin quickly and tenderly picked up the little black dog that had been kicked away, then shielded Yao Yulin and her sister behind her before speaking with a light laugh, "Oh dear, I'm so sorry, I accidentally knocked over the table. It looks like the grandmothers will have to cook again tonight!"
She apologized, but her expression was so smug that it made her already angry grandmother's face darken even more.
"Pah, you jinx..."
"If I don't teach you a lesson, you'll really have a hard time figuring out who's in charge here."
Without hesitation, she picked up a stool and slapped it at Zhiyin's face.
"Mom, take it out on me, don't hit Yinyin, she didn't mean it."
Yao Yulin's expression changed instantly, and she hurriedly tried to stop him, but Zhiyin held her body firmly.
The grandfather and uncles all watched the farce with dark faces, but did not stop it.
They all looked at Zhiyin with great anger, wishing she would be severely punished.
"Beat her, beat this bitch to death! How dare she flip the table? If she dares to flip the table today, she'll dare to poison us tomorrow! We must beat her until she's terrified. Does she really think she's in charge of this house?"
The aunt said through gritted teeth, wishing she could rush up too.
"Hehehe, well done, Grandmother! Kill her! Kill this jinx! Fu'er is so hungry!"
Zhifu seemed to have forgotten the pain of being beaten during the day, and even gloated and fanned the flames from the sidelines.
Even Zhi Zhaodi couldn't help but squint her eyes with schadenfreude as she watched silently.
The whole family was looking forward to seeing their confidant get a good scolding.
But when Zhiyin looked at her hideous and ugly grandmother, and then at the crowd who were expecting her to be taught a lesson, a smile that was neither a smile nor a laugh appeared on her lips.
"I might have to disappoint you..."
Having said that, just as her grandmother was about to approach her, she jumped to avoid the stool, and then quickly kicked it away with a sweeping motion, sending the stool and her grandmother flying.
"Bang…"
The heavy thud was followed by the grandmother's wailing.
"Ouch... my back, my waist, my butt!"
"You little brat, how could you be so cruel!"
The grandmother pointed at Zhiyin and roared angrily. Her fierce eyes looked at her not like she was looking at her granddaughter, but like she was looking at an enemy, wishing she could skin Zhiyin alive.
It's a shame, she can't get up at all.
The grandfathers were all so shocked that their eyes almost popped out of their sockets; they were clearly terrified, and their gazes toward Zhiyin were filled with horror.
Even though she gave Zhifu a good beating in the morning, she only slapped him with her hands!
Unlike now.
Looking at the stool that had been kicked in half, they all stared at her as if she were a monster, swallowing hard in fear.
Meeting the seemingly smiling yet cold and indifferent gaze of her confidante, even the eldest aunt hesitated for a moment, unable to utter a single fart.
Even his forehead was covered in cold sweat.
Zhifu was so frightened by the commotion that he wet his pants and burst into tears when he met Zhiyin's gaze.
Recalling the pain of being controlled during the day, he clung even tighter to his mother.
It seems that only in this way can one feel a moment of security.
"Zhiyin...you...how could you be so heartless? That's your grandmother!"
After a long while, the grandfather, speaking with deep sorrow, leaned on his cane to help the grandmother up.
My uncle and aunt seemed to only just realize what was happening and rushed to help, but they didn't dare to look my confidante in the eye.
They were afraid of being kicked away too.
But he couldn't help wondering, where did this brat get so much strength?
Zhiyin, however, watched her grandmother's difficult movements with a smile, her eyes full of pleasure. "Oh dear, I'm so sorry, I can't stand being insulted. If this happens again, I don't know what outrageous thing I might do!"
As she spoke, her sharp gaze swept over everyone present, lingering on each person for several seconds, her tone full of threat.
The grandfathers were so frightened that they didn't dare to breathe. What was clearly a clear and pleasant sound now sounded like a demonic chant to them.
"You... Oh dear, is there no justice in this world? What kind of granddaughter treats her grandmother like this? What a tragedy! Why is my life so miserable?"
Grandmother waved away Grandfather's hand, sat down on the ground and kept patting the ground, covering her face and crying helplessly and pitifully, occasionally peeking through her fingers to observe her confidant's behavior.
Zhiyin pretended not to see anything and led Yao Yulin and Zhihua back to the previous room.
