After finishing everything, Zhiyin took Zhihua to the blacksmith shop.
"Hey, big brother, we're here again."
As soon as Zhiyin entered, he saw the blacksmith wiping his swords and knives, and immediately greeted him with a smile.
After many business dealings, the elder brother became familiar with Zhiyin and Zhihua, and immediately greeted them with a cheerful smile, inviting them to sit down.
"My dear sister, what brings you here today to order?"
After he finished speaking, he couldn't help but tease, "Seriously, it's been a while since you've been selling potato chips these past few days!"
"My wife told me this morning that she missed your potato chips!"
"Haha, I've already sold the potato chip recipe to someone else. I won't be selling potato chips in town anymore. You can find the guy who sells donkey rolls, his wife sells them."
Zhiyin chatted casually with him like an old friend, and even took the opportunity to advertise for Brother Donkey Roll's wife.
"Oh, I see. Why did you stop? Your business is so good, you must have made more money than selling houses, right?"
The blacksmith became curious immediately upon hearing this.
"Haha, I have other business to do. That's why I came to you today to customize a custom-made iron pot."
While talking about kindred spirits, he handed the blueprints to his elder brother. He said it was a custom-made one, but it was actually just an ordinary iron pot, only larger and with slight differences in details.
"Make three in total, and please help me with the shovels as well."
Zhiyin thought about it and decided that if the business was going to be very successful, there would need to be at least three chefs cooking at the same time.
Otherwise, we might not be able to handle it all; we'll need at least three iron pots.
As for cooking the food and serving it to customers, she plans to use a clay pot, since clay pots are almost half the price of iron pots.
"Okay, okay, do you need me to prepare a matching solid wood lid for you?"
The older brother took the blueprints and immediately asked another question.
Zhiyin immediately nodded, "Yes!"
"Brother, you have to make it well for me. I need it for my shop, so I have to guarantee its quality."
Zhiyin thought for a moment and reminded her again.
"Don't worry, my dear sister, leave it to me. This isn't your first time having sex with me, so the quality is absolutely guaranteed."
The older brother patted his chest confidently and assured him, then couldn't resist asking, "So, Zhiyin, what kind of shop are you planning to open?"
When will it open? Where is it located?
His eyes practically sparkled as he said this, "My wife loves your cooking. If she knew, she would definitely come here every day."
"Haha, it's a dry pot restaurant. It was just finalized today, and it'll probably take at least two weeks before it opens."
After all, even after the renovation is finished, there are still all sorts of things to do!
"Dry pot?"
The blacksmith was immediately puzzled; it was the first time he had ever heard of this name!
"Once we open, you and your wife can come and try it and you'll know how amazing it is!"
Zhiyin playfully kept her elder brother in suspense, then said, "By the way, elder brother, we're such good friends now. I ordered so many iron pots from your store at once, you have to give me a reasonable price, right?"
Zhiyin smiled and started playing the emotional card with the blacksmith.
She genuinely thinks iron products are ridiculously expensive! And her older brother earns a fortune!
Back then, a kitchen knife cost an ounce, so I wondered how expensive this iron pot could be.
"How about this, young lady, we're quite familiar with each other now, and you often patronize my business. I'll give you eight taels for the three iron pots."
"I'm really just earning money from my handicrafts."
The elder brother looked very sincerely into Zhiyin's eyes, and there was no hint of joking in his eyes.
"Alright, eight taels it is!"
After thinking it over, Zhiyin realized that what his elder brother said was indeed true, since iron pots really do use a lot of materials.
After exchanging a few more pleasantries, paying the bill, and agreeing on a rough pickup time, Zhiyin finally left.
"Sister, what should we do next? Should we go check the results first?"
Zhihua tugged at Zhiyin's sleeve, her eyes showing a rare hint of anticipation.
"Okay, let's go check if the results are out yet? Then I'll take Huahua to get some wontons."
Zhiyin smiled and agreed.
The two quickly arrived at the house where they had taken the exam.
It was probably noon by then, and students kept arriving.
The house was completely surrounded by a dense crowd.
Students kept sighing and walking back in disappointment, while others jumped for joy when they saw their names on the list and knew they could continue to participate in the second exam.
At this moment, everyone, whether they knew each other or not, was having a very heated discussion, creating a lively atmosphere.
Suddenly, someone shouted incredulously, "Zhihua? Who is that?"
"A woman? How is that possible? How can a woman be ranked above all of us?"
His words quickly drew both agreement and dissatisfaction from many people.
Zhiyin heard these conversations as soon as she arrived and couldn't help but exchange glances with Zhiyin.
When I heard the shock in the eyes of those male students, I couldn't help but give Zhihua a huge thumbs up in my heart. It felt so awesome!
He even wanted to stand with his hands on his hips and shout, "So what? So what if she's a woman? She's still above you, still superior to you!"
That's what I was thinking, but after glancing at the people around me, I didn't say it out loud. It would just be too much of a target of hatred.
Although Zhiyin knew the answer, she was still afraid that it was someone with the same name, so she still managed to squeeze in with Zhihua.
When I saw that Zhihua was at the top of the list and highlighted in red, and that the information matched up, I immediately smiled.
