Planting begins in Chapter 76



"What brilliant ideas could she possibly have? Don't blame me for not warning you, you won't make any money and the crops will all fail. I'd like to see who you'll be crying to then!"

"Besides, potatoes and bell peppers have been grown before, but nobody buys them."

"Isn't it a waste of time and energy to plant on a large scale now?"

"Anyway, whoever wants to plant it can plant it, but we're not planting it!"

Her tone was firm, and her voice was full of disdain for her kindred spirits.

Her grandfather, who was standing next to her, nodded repeatedly, clearly in agreement.

Upon hearing this, the surrounding villagers frowned, their initially resolute hearts beginning to waver and hesitate.

The village head remained remarkably calm, glancing lightly at his grandparents. "Whatever you prefer."

"I'm just fulfilling my duty as the village head by telling you this way of making money."

"Whether you plant it or not is none of my business. When everyone in the village has made money, and you have nothing, don't come looking for me."

After he finished speaking, he looked seriously at the other villagers and said, "Anyway, I have decided to plant more than half of my family's land with bell peppers and potatoes."

"I have seeds and sprouted potatoes here. Register and come to me to collect your share."

"This is only valid for today. If you still want to plant them after tomorrow, you can go to the street and buy the seeds yourself."

Upon hearing this, the villagers all looked at each other in bewilderment. After a long while, almost half of them became determined.

"Village head, we believe in you!"

"OK…"

The village head was very satisfied.

"If you decide to plant it, but don't know how to plant it or how to cultivate it, you can come to me."
