Chapter 10.

Chapter 10.

"He looks like he's ill."

Tang Yu's casual words gave Li Jia courage. She controlled her nervousness and turned to look.

After seeing the boy's appearance clearly, she gasped, "Is he sick? The style of painting is different, okay? This is a..."

She swallowed the word "weird" forcefully.

Ning Xuanqing also noticed the difference in this student. She walked over quickly. Compared to Li Jia's fear and panic, she was much calmer.

"What did it just say to you?" Ning Xuanqing saw Li Jia talking to the student, but didn't hear it clearly.

Li Jia hid behind her two teammates. Her mind was still blank at the moment and she had completely forgotten what the student had just said to her.

Just as Li Jia was thinking hard, the strange student repeated what he had just said: "They stole my meal ticket."

Ning Xuanqing stared at it sharply: "Who are they?"

The boy's big eyes were dark but lifeless. He stared blankly at the air in front of him and answered irrelevantly: "I'm so hungry."

Ning Xuanqing frowned and looked at the little boy, trying to ask some other questions, but before she could open her mouth, the boy's dark eyes turned a tiny arc.

It said faintly: "The teacher is coming."

These words sounded like a soliloquy as well as a reminder.

Ning Xuanqing knew that they could no longer stay in this classroom.

At the same time, more and more students began to pour into the classroom, filling almost all the desks.

The sounds of laughter and conversation in the classroom suddenly changed.

Just like the song suddenly changed, the neat sound of reading suddenly filled the classroom, and the sound became louder and louder.

An inexplicable sense of crisis gradually spread over their hearts, and the three of them almost rushed out of the classroom as if they were escaping.

When we got to the corridor, the sound of reading became a little quieter, and the intimidating sense of crisis seemed to have faded a little.

Before the three of them could breathe a sigh of relief, another voice suddenly sounded.

There was the sound of heavy footsteps, slow but powerful, as if huge monsters were approaching.

The voice rang in my ears, but the corridor in front of me was empty.

The teacher is here!

"Run!" Ning Xuanqing shouted, and the three of them rushed downstairs.

After a narrow escape, the three of them ran out of the teaching building area without looking back, and the vague sense of oppression and crisis finally dissipated.

Tang Yu propped himself up on his knees and took a deep breath. He looked at the two and asked, "That student should be the clue, but we can't enter the teaching building now. What should we do?"

Li Jia brushed off the messy hair stuck to his forehead by sweat, and said firmly: "I think that student must be the friend we are looking for. We have to find a way to coax him out to play games!"

Tang Yu scratched his head, unable to think of a better idea, so he nodded and asked, "But how can we coax our friends out?"

Ning Xuanqing, who had been silent for a long time, suddenly said, "Let's go to the cafeteria."

Li Jia said unhappily, "Stop making trouble. Now is not the time to eat. I'll treat you to a good meal when we get out."

Ning Xuanqing pursed his lips and reminded: "Didn't it say it was hungry?"

"!!!"

Five minutes later, the three of them reached the cafeteria door.

The students had just finished their meal and left. The canteen was now clearing away the plates and bowls, and the food pickup counter had stopped operating.

Perhaps due to the difficulty of the dungeon, the employees moving around in the cafeteria were all very normal and not in any danger.

However, the employees in the cafeteria also chose to ignore the arrival of the three people. Li Jia even wanted to pretend to be a student to trick people into giving her a meal, but they ignored her altogether.

With no other options, they simply sneaked into the back kitchen.

To provide meals for an entire school, there would definitely be leftover ingredients from every meal. The three of them planned to find some leftovers and pack them up to bring to the little boy.

However, to their disappointment, all the leftovers in the back kitchen had been poured into the泔水桶, leaving only half a bowl of rice.

The large aluminum basin containing rice was half a meter in diameter, and the remaining rice inside was still steaming slightly.

Looking at the white rice, Li Jia was in a dilemma: "I can't even swallow this. There's not even a pickle left here."

Ning Xuanqing looked at the rice without saying anything. Tang Yu on the side raised his hand and said, "How about I make some egg fried rice? I saw some eggs in that cabinet."

Li Jia's eyes lit up when he heard that, and he clapped his hands and said, "Yes! How could I forget that you can cook!"

Ning Xuanqing nodded to Tang Yu: "You can give it a try, but you have to be as quick as possible. The cafeteria auntie won't interfere with us, but I'm afraid we won't be able to get out if the door is closed soon."

Tang Yu agreed and started to work right away.

Light the fire, pour oil, and beat the eggs.

Ning Xuanqing and Li Jia stood by and watched eagerly.

To them, this pot of egg fried rice was just a copy mission prop, but to Tang Yu, it was a masterpiece that extended from the will of her and the proprietress of the mutton soup shop!

So Tang Yu was extra careful in making this pot of fried rice.

In less than ten minutes, a pot of golden, shiny, and distinctly grainy fried rice was ready. Tang Yu found a large bowl and put the rice in it.

Li Jia couldn't help drooling at the beautiful egg fried rice. She picked up the spoon and reached into the bowl: "Let me taste the saltiness first."

She was stopped by Ning Xuanqing halfway, and her movements were so fast that even she was stunned.

Li Jia looked at Ning Xuanqing in confusion: "What's wrong?"

Ning Xuanqing quickly came back to her senses, and she said nonchalantly: "Nothing, I just think you'd better not eat this."

This feeling was so strange that even Ning Xuanqing himself couldn't explain it clearly. It was just that when he saw Li Jia was about to eat that bowl of rice, he suddenly felt a chill down his spine.

Li Jia looked at Ning Xuanqing's serious expression, and said, "Oh, that's right. This is for the weird kids to eat. It would be unlucky if I eat it."

Seeing Li Jia put the spoon back, Tang Yu, who was expecting her to give some advice, suddenly became disappointed.

"Let's get out of here quickly." Ning Xuanqing touched the goose bumps on his arms nervously.

After getting a meal that filled their stomachs, the three of them quickly left the cafeteria.

The next task is how to deliver the meal to the little boy and trigger the next plot.

No matter how difficult the strange copy is, it has its own internal logic to follow. As long as you do not violate the basic operating rules, you can complete the task and pass it successfully.

Of course, if you are a player with powerful skills, you don’t have to think about so many twists and turns and can just push forward all the way.

As for Tang Yu and his men, three people could not add up to five points of combat power, so they had better just follow the process honestly.

Classes were being held in the teaching building at the moment. In view of the terrifying footsteps they had just heard in the corridor, the three of them would never dare to go in at that moment.

Li Jia suggested that they could go find the boy during break, but Ning Xuanqing rejected the idea.

"The break is only ten minutes long, which is too short. I'm afraid we won't have enough time to leave the building, and there's no guarantee that the teacher will stay in the classroom during the break."

After some discussion, the three decided to just wait until school was over.

They found a slightly hidden flower bed, and the three of them squatted on the stone platform beside the flower bed, with the bowl of fragrant fried rice placed on the ground.

Staring at the bowl of fried rice, Li Jia thought: "Will it still be eaten if it gets cold?"

Ning Xuanqing squatted on the stone platform, half of his face buried in his scarf, and analyzed Li Jia's question very rigorously.

"Yes, I think. In the past, people in our area would set out food for the little ghosts at the intersection at night. They used cold rice, so I don't think it's a big problem."

Tang Yu also followed Ning Xuanqing's example and buried her face in her red scarf. She thought for a moment and said, "My backpack is a space-based item. If you're worried about the food getting cold, why not put it in my bag?"

Ning Xuanqing glanced at her bag and nodded, "That's fine."

As he was about to pick up the bowl, a paper plane suddenly flew in from somewhere and appeared in front of the three of them.

The paper airplane was folded from an ordinary exercise book, and on the left wing you could see a big cross drawn by the teacher in red pen.

At this time, the students were all in class and no one else came to this small flower bed. Where did the paper plane come from?

The same doubt appeared in the minds of the three people, and then a burst of laughter was heard, accompanied by a children's song with no melody or tune.

"Looking for a friend! Found a good friend..."

The sudden movement made the three of them freeze.

Li Jia turned her head left and right, trying to find the source of the sound, but the bursts of playful noises came from the left and right, making her not know where to run.

"Xuanqing, Tang Yu, I feel something is wrong!" Li Jia clutched the hem of her clothes tightly, her voice trembling a little.

"Nonsense, how could I not know something was wrong!" Ning Xuanqing gritted her teeth and looked around. A sense of crisis gradually wrapped around her heart like a spider web, making it difficult for her to breathe.

Tang Yu looked at the two nervous people and felt a sense of danger. She turned her eyes and glanced left and right and asked, "Is there anything coming?"

Li Jia nodded reluctantly, feeling that her neck could not turn. From the corner of her eye, she saw Tang Yu grab a stone from the flower bed behind him.

Li Jia: “…”

Well, stones are not out of the question. Right now the three of them are unarmed and have no self-defense tools. Picking up a stone can at least give themselves some psychological comfort.

So Li Jia also decided to follow suit. She reached into the flower bed and touched something cold and hard. She confirmed that it was indeed a stone. She reached out and pulled, but it didn't move!

etc!

It seems that the hard stone has a crack?

"Hehe~" A light laughter rang in Li Jia's ears, and he felt as if a basin of cold water was poured over his head in the coldest days of winter, and instantly he couldn't even open his mouth.

What she touched was a human head!

"Ho! Ho!" She tried for a long time with a hoarse voice, but could only utter two syllables.

Ning Xuanqing and Tang Yu, who were squatting nearby on full alert, heard the noise, turned around and saw Li Jia's appearance, their eyes widened.

Li Jia was squatting on the stone platform, her whole body shaking like a sieve, with a round, pale head resting on her shoulder!

A pair of dark eyes on his head were rolling around, looking around maliciously, his mouth was stretched to his ears, and saliva was hanging from the corners of his mouth.

When they met the head's gaze, the three of them heard a faint laughter at the same time: "We found you!"
