Chapter 9.

Chapter 9.

After "sending" the blond man away, the group of strong men left laughing.

The square was silent for a moment, and everyone's eyes turned to the electronic screen intentionally or unintentionally.

Just now, dozens of lives were lost silently, but the huge electronic screen still stood there quietly, like a silent tombstone.

Tang Yu and the other two who watched the whole process fell into a depressed atmosphere. After all, watching others die without being able to do anything is a uncomfortable feeling for any normal person.

After a long while, Li Jia exhaled and smiled a smile that was uglier than crying. "I really don't know whether the world will go crazy first, or me."

Ning Xuanqing held her arm, and when he closed his eyes and opened them again, there was rationality in those lake green eyes.

"After what happened today, the rule prohibiting private fights is no longer applicable. The middle area will soon be in chaos. We must hurry up and become stronger now!"

Miles gave everyone a completely new idea, which allowed them to escape punishment by the rules and kill people without anyone noticing.

Soon, the entire middle realm will degenerate into a situation where the strong prey on the weak.

The civilized order of human society has collapsed, and what applies now is the law of the jungle!

After being reminded by her, Li Jia was shocked, "Yes, yes, let's save more points and try to get some self-defense props!"

"Low-level dungeons are relatively safe and are the best for accumulating points." Ning Xuanqing said, "Be safe first, so we'll look for multiplayer dungeons."

The three people who reached a consensus immediately looked at the electronic screen. This time, Li Jia held Tang Yu tightly, for she was afraid that the master would touch it by mistake again.

Ning Xuanqing squinted his fox eyes and quickly browsed the screen, and finally his eyes fixed on an F-level multiplayer copy.

'F-level multiplayer copy: good companions.'

'Copy tags: campus, friendship, game.'

'Instance description: How much do you remember about your childhood friends? Can you tell whether they were friends or enemies?'

'Dungeon mission: Complete the game of hide-and-seek with your friends, and don't be forgotten.'

"This should work." Ning Xuanqing said confidently after carefully studying the copy information.

Li Jia never likes to use her brain. After hearing what Ning Xuanqing said, she immediately said to Tang Yu: "Let's challenge this dungeon?"

Tang Yu, who had just destroyed a C-level copy, had never suffered a "beating" from a copy. She felt that all copies were the same, so she agreed without any objection.

After the discussion, the three of them appeared in the copy.

In front of me is a campus that looks relatively normal. The school is not large, with only three buildings. The middle one is the office building, and on both sides are teaching buildings.

It seemed that school was over at this time. A large number of students came out of the teaching building laughing and chatting as they went to the cafeteria.

The sky was clear and there was a breeze blowing in the air. The whole campus was filled with a cheerful and relaxed atmosphere. Looking at this scene, Ning Xuanqing and the others felt as if they had returned to normal society.

The students did not pay much attention to the three people who suddenly appeared on campus.

"Ah! I used to hate going to school the most, and now I hate entering dungeons the most. Hey! I'm suffering twice as much today!" Li Jia muttered with a grin as he looked at the students coming and going.

Tang Yu blinked and looked at her: "Is going to school annoying? Is this how they go to school?"

"Really?" Li Jia looked at Tang Yu in surprise: "Big brother, if you talk like this, it's easy for me to misunderstand that you have never been to school!"

Tang Yu scratched his head and said frankly, "I really didn't go to school. I have been sick since I was a child and have been taking medicine all the time."

Li Jia couldn't help scratching his head and said reluctantly, "Oh, so that's it."

"Yes, that's right."

Ning Xuanqing waited until the two of them had exhausted the topic before pointing to the teaching building behind them and said, "Let's go look for some clues."

Li Jia pointed at the crowd rushing to the cafeteria and asked her, "Don't we need to go there? There are a lot of people there. Can't we just find a friend to play hide-and-seek with?"

Ning Xuanqing looked at her helplessly and said, "It's not that easy. I guess those people are just fake. If you don't believe me, you can go and try and see if anyone will pay attention to you."

It is basically impossible for there to be living people in the copy, of course Tang Yu is an exception.

How could an ordinary E-level copy have so many strange things? So Ning Xuanqing had reason to suspect that the students coming and going they saw were all fake.

The first difficulty of this copy appeared. They had to find the "partner" hidden among the many students!

Li Jia called out to a passing student in disbelief, but the student acted as if he didn't see her and just walked forward, like a robot that had been given predetermined instructions.

After trying several times, Li Jia finally came back embarrassedly.

Meeting Ning Xuanqing's half-smiley eyes, she said awkwardly, "You're right, so why are you so sure there are no clues in the cafeteria?"

Ning Xuanqing shrugged: "Intuition."

Li Jia glanced at her and said, "You obviously think the cafeteria is too far away and you're too lazy to go there!"

Ning Xuanqing was not annoyed at all after being exposed. She narrowed her eyes and looked at the teaching building behind her, then looked at Li Jia: "It's your turn. Tell me, which floor should we go to?"

The teaching building has five floors, and there are more than ten classrooms on each floor. It would be too torturous to look at them one by one.

Li Jia rolled up his sleeves and broke off a branch from the flower bed, saying, "I've already told you, this doesn't work every time. If I find the wrong place, don't blame me!"

Tang Yu nodded obediently, while Ning Xuanqing pulled up his scarf to cover half of his face, then put his hands in his pockets, looking calm and composed.

Looking at the two teammates who didn't care about the matter and didn't care about it, Li Jia worked honestly.

"We'll go to the corresponding floor according to how many sections this branch is broken into." Li Jia said as he bent the branch.

Tang Yu moved her mouth but ultimately said nothing. She thought, if the branch is broken like this, could it be broken into three pieces instead of two?

With a crisp "snap" sound, the fresh branch that had just been picked from the flower bed and was still juicy was broken into four pieces.

Tang Yu: “!!!”

Li Jia looked at the branches with satisfaction and said modestly: "Life is still beautiful!"

The three of them entered the teaching building and went straight up to the fourth floor. At this time, all the students had gone to the cafeteria, and the corridors and classrooms were empty.

Ning Xuanqing looked at the dozen classrooms on both sides of the corridor and said, "Shall we search them separately?"

Li Jia was the first to disagree. She glanced at Ning Xuanqing and said, "In horror movies, anyone who acts separately never has a good ending."

Ning Xuanqing: "...then let's go together."

So the three of them started searching from the first classroom. Because the copy gave few clues, they could only conduct a blanket search.

Li Jia almost dug out all the bad things that students said in the little notebooks in their desks.

She was sweating profusely from exhaustion and couldn't help complaining, "Xuanqing, what clues should we look for? Don't you have any ideas in your smart head?"

Ning Xuanqing waved his hands at her to indicate that he hadn't seen anything. Li Jia wailed. She saw Tang Yu looking around and touching things in the classroom with curiosity, as if he had never seen the world before. She couldn't help but feel pity for him.

"Tang Yu, don't envy this place. I tell you, it's not fun to sit here. The teacher upstairs keeps hypnotizing you, but he won't let you sleep. How uncomfortable is that?"

Tang Yu's eyes lit up when he heard this: "So this is how school works? I used to go this way, so am I also going to school?"

"Well, probably." Li Jia didn't quite understand what Tang Yu meant. She responded vaguely and continued to work.

Ning Xuanqing looked at Tang Yu deeply, a thoughtful look flashed in her eyes, but she said nothing.

The three spent about half an hour searching nearly half of the classrooms in the corridor, but found nothing.

At that time, the students who went to the cafeteria to eat came back in twos and threes.

At first, Li Jia was worried that these strange students would kick them out of the classroom, but later she found that they did not interfere with her and she couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief.

Ning Xuanqing reminded: "We'd better speed up!"

Tang Yu asked in confusion: "What's wrong?"

Ning Xuanqing looked at the clock hanging in the classroom and said, "It's almost time for class. We haven't seen the school's teachers yet. These students seem to be getting along peacefully with us, but I'm worried that something bad will happen when the teachers come."

While Tang Yu was still pondering the truth of this guess, Li Jia had already begun to speed up his actions.

She pulled Tang Yu, who was still in a daze, and said, "Hurry up, her predictions are pretty accurate!"

At this time, the students returned to the classroom one after another. Some of them had already taken out their books to read. Once the desks were occupied, they could not rummage through the cabinets.

Li Jia searched anxiously in the classroom. When he passed by a student lying on the desk, he suddenly heard a "gurgling" sound.

She tilted her head to look at the student and blurted out the words before she could think: "Didn't you have lunch?"

"Oh! Isn't this all unnecessary nonsense?" After she finished speaking, she realized that these students would not pay any attention to her at all.

When she turned around and prepared to leave, a voice as soft as a mosquito came from beside her: "They stole my meal ticket."

Li Jia walked two or three meters away before she realized that the student had spoken. This abnormal scene made her freeze in place.

A chill ran from her tailbone straight to the top of her head, and she felt a numbing sensation on her scalp as if an electric shock had occurred.

"Tang, Tang Yu, big boss, help me!"

Tang Yu was closest to her, and when he heard her call, he turned to look at her, "What's wrong?"

Li Jia's face was wrinkled and she was about to cry. She pointed behind her with a small movement: "Can you help me check the person behind me? Has it, has it, has it mutated?"

Tang Yu looked in the direction of her finger and happened to meet the student's eyes.

She saw a thin and quiet boy looking straight at her. His eyes were big and dark, and the dark blue in his eyes made his already pale skin look even paler.
