Hao Xinqing: "Huh? You're not going?"
Ji Mushu: "Mm."
Hao Xinqing: "Why? We agreed to have dinner together tomorrow. A new dessert shop has opened over there."
Ji Mushu: "I suddenly don't want to go anymore. Let's do it next time."
After listening to their conversation for a while, Yu Mobai knew she was throwing a tantrum because of him again, so he chuckled and said into the phone, "Why don't you ask me where I'm going on my business trip?"
Ji Mushu was startled by the sudden sound. It took her a while to find her phone under her arm, and she had already answered Yu Mobai's call.
Why are you making that call?
She picked up her phone again and scoffed, "Didn't you say you were going on a business trip tomorrow? You'd better get ready."
"Aren't you going to ask me where I'm going on a business trip?"
Yu Mobai asked.
Why ask?
Ji Mushu said unhappily, "Anyway, it's not like..."
"I'm going to Shanda on a business trip tomorrow."
Yu Mobai watched a couple pass by downstairs, whistled with a grin. If a normal person had done something like that, they would have ducked away and secretly watched their reaction. But he was different; he even waved to greet them.
The boy downstairs clearly recognized Yu Mobai and greeted him as well.
He looked away and asked with a smile, "Aren't you surprised?"
Upon hearing this on the phone, Ji Mushu visibly cheered up, saying, "Yu Mobai, you lied to me again."
"That's called romance, you don't know anything about it."
Yu Mobai laughed and said, "I'll pick you up from your dorm tomorrow, and I'll invite Haozi along too, it'll be more lively with more people."
"Sure."
Ji Mushu suddenly covered the microphone and whispered, "I have something I want to tell you tomorrow."
"What is it? Tell me now."
"No, we have to say it face to face."
"What's going on? Why are you being so mysterious?"
The two exchanged a few more words and then hung up the phone.
He thought for a moment and then called Yan Moxuan.
Seeing the couples downstairs having so much fun, he wanted to join in too.
Actually, the most important thing was to show off my girlfriend.
"It's snowing outside, want to take a walk around the school?"
"Wow, wait for me then."
It seemed that every time Yu Mobai took the initiative to call her, Yan Moxuan was pleasantly surprised, saying, "I'll change my clothes and come down right away."
"No, come downstairs and wait for me."
Yu Mobai shook his head, "I'm going to show these bastards how beautiful my girlfriend is."
"Hehe, okay."
Yan Moxuan changed her clothes and quickly arrived at the boys' dormitory. Yu Mobai deliberately dawdled for a while, and only after everyone noticed Yan Moxuan did he swagger downstairs and pull her into his arms.
Immediately, the boys around him looked on with envy.

"I can't use my membership card today. I have something to do tomorrow, and I'm afraid I won't have time."
Yu Mobai shook his head, then patted her little bottom, "Next time, we'll use it next time."
Yan Moxuan nodded very understandingly and didn't mention the matter again.
The two walked from the dormitory building to the playground.
The playground was bustling with activity.
Heavy snow was falling from the sky, and after just over an hour, you couldn't even see your shoes when you stepped inside.
Many people were having a snowball fight, and snowballs were flying everywhere.
"What have you been doing lately?"
Yu Mobai rarely asked Yan Moxuan about her life, and she rarely mentioned it either.
"Nothing much. I had lunch at the cafeteria with Jiang Xiaoyu and the others this morning, and then attended a class."
Yan Moxuan was wearing a pair of black leather boots today, with black cotton leggings covering her slender legs. She playfully kicked at the snow in front of her. "Later, I didn't want to go to class anymore, so I went back to the dormitory with them."
"How's your aunt? Is she busy lately?"
Yu Mobai asked with a smile, "I'll treat her to a meal sometime."
"Okay, I'll tell you when she has time."
Yan Moxuan nodded, hesitated for a moment, and then asked, "So what about you? What did you do today?"
She would never have asked about Yu Mobai's schedule before.
"I went to the company this morning, and then I went to the art team leader to check on the progress."
Yu Mobai said with a grin, "When I got back to the dorm, I saw someone downstairs strutting around and calling me a single dog, so I called you out to scare him. But I didn't run into you on the way back."
Yan Moxuan laughed when she heard this, as it was very much in line with Yu Mobai's style of doing things.
The two chatted idly as they drew circles on the playground, with large snowballs occasionally whistling overhead and bouncing everywhere on the ground.
Yan Moxuan suddenly stopped and turned her head to stare at him.
"What's wrong?"
Yu Mobai touched his face. "Is there something on my face?"
"no."
Yan Moxuan shook her head, "It just suddenly felt like we were asking each other what we did today, like an ordinary couple."
"That's exactly right."
Yu Mobai had no intention of denying the relationship. "Weren't we like that before?"
"That's not quite right."
Yan Moxuan hugged Yu Mobai's arm tightly and pressed her body against him, saying, "I just feel that today is different from before."
"So, do you prefer today or the past?"
Yu Mobai squatted on the ground, slowly rolling a small snowball in the snow with both hands.
