Wei Yufan remained silent.
Although his family had some money, he was just a student who drifted through life, not even a tenth as good as Yu Mobai in this respect. Of course, he would say whatever came to mind.
After Yu Mobai's reminder, Wei Yufan cursed inwardly, "Damn it, Yu Mobai got away with it again!"
When the bell rang, Yu Mobai didn't leave. He waited until Wei Yufan and a few others left the classroom and sent him a text message before he swaggered out of the classroom.

Chen Zhixi persisted, "I didn't even have a chance to thank you for the clothes you gave me last time. I've washed them, I'll give them back to you tomorrow, and I'll treat you to dinner while I'm at it, okay?"
"That's not good. I have important things to do tomorrow."
Yu Mobai said coldly, "Stop bothering me, I'm annoyed."

"Let's go to the second floor of the cafeteria, your roommates are waiting."

Chen Zhixi was a little discouraged, but she quickly cheered herself up and took out the jacket that Yu Mobai had lent her from the cabinet next to her. "I took it to the dry cleaners, but I saw that the jacket was a bit worn, so I bought you a new one as well."

"I have important business to discuss with her too."
Chen Zhixi stared at him silently for a while, and only let him go when she felt he wasn't lying. She also said that she must have dinner with him next time.
Yu Mobai nodded perfunctorily, ate a few bites, and left.
On his way back to the dormitory, he first called Hu Xiuyan, hung up and waited a while before calling Ji Mushu.

This was the first phone call between the two since their last meeting.
