The next morning.
Yu Mobai arrived at Ji Zhigang's house right on time.
He hadn't even had breakfast yet and was planning to freeload.
Ji Zhigang knew the kid's character, so he simply brought him an extra portion of breakfast.
"Uncle Ji's dumplings are still the best."
Yu Mobai chuckled and flattered, "I've been eating this since I was a child, but I haven't been able to taste it since I went to university."
"Alright, stop flattering me."
Ji Zhigang didn't want to waste words with him. "Eat quickly, and try to be back tonight."
"Why come back? Why not stay there a little longer?"
With a bun in his mouth, Yu Mobai asked indistinctly, "Mushu must miss you, and Aunt Dong must want to see her daughter too."
Ji Zhigang didn't say anything, silently finished his meal, and then put the prepared money into an envelope and handed it to Yu Mobai, "This is the money for the four boxes of nutritional supplements yesterday."
"Wow, Uncle Ji is so generous, he even gave me an extra hundred."
Yu Mobai casually opened the envelope and glanced at it.
"The extra hundred is for your travel expenses."
Ji Zhigang snorted and said, "I wouldn't dare accept your things for nothing now. You might write them down in your notebook and be waiting to marry the comb."
"I'm not that insidious."
Yu Mobai was very dissatisfied, "This little bit is my way of showing my respect to you, why are you talking about money? You're being too polite."
"That's right, that's exactly what I want—to be distant."
Ji Zhigang resolutely refused to take back the money he had handed over, so Yu Mobai had no choice but to accept it.
Watching Ji Zhigang and Dong Muhong go back to their room to change clothes, Yu Mobai examined the envelope on the table.
Why is this old man just as arrogant as Ji Mushu? He insists on giving him this little bit of money, as if he wants to draw a line between them.

After everything was ready, it was still before seven o'clock.
Ji Zhigang and Dong Muhong went downstairs first, and Yu Mobai returned to his home to tell Zheng Zhaoxia and Yu Jinsheng that he was leaving.
As soon as I opened the door, I saw the elderly couple already dressed and sitting on the sofa.
"Mom and Dad, are you two going to the supermarket so early?"
Yu Mobai was a little surprised, "It's not even seven o'clock yet, what are you doing going so early?"
"Why go to the supermarket?"
Zheng Zhaoxia stood up and said, "We'll go to the hospital with you."
What are you going there for?
Yu Mobai laughed and said, "I'm too busy running around to take care of you guys."
"Look, look, what did I tell you?"
Zheng Zhaoxia was immediately displeased upon hearing this, "I knew this little bastard only thought about others; his own parents were not important to him at all."
"Mom, that's not what I meant."
Yu Mobai quickly shook his head, "You are my own parents. No matter how much I neglect you, you will not leave me. How can you be so clueless, old lady?"
"I think you're the one who doesn't understand things."
For the first time, Yu Jinsheng spoke up for his wife, saying, "Your mother did it all for you."
"For what?"
Yu Mobai was stunned for a moment.
"I'm afraid you'll get bullied by Lao Ji."
Yu Jinsheng laughed and said, "Old Ji has always held grudges since he was young. Who knows how he might bully you."
"Wow, Mom, you underestimate me, don't you?"
Yu Mobai was touched. This was what a mother was like. Although she often scolded and beat him, she still cared about him. The bowl of noodles she prepared in the kitchen last night was enough to show that.
He ran over with a grin and grabbed Zheng Zhaoxia's arm, "That old man, what can he do to me? Don't worry."
Even in the end, Yu Mobai didn't let the elderly couple go through the trouble.
After all, a day might not be enough for a round trip, and Zheng Zhaoxia certainly wouldn't be able to rest at the hospital.
Those with old bones and limbs shouldn't bother with all that running around for a whole day.
As he went downstairs, he turned around and looked at his own floor, and sure enough, he found the elderly couple watching him from the balcony.
Yu Mobai smiled and waved, then got into his car and drove out of the residential compound.
"Sigh, this child, he came back for one night and then left again."
Zheng Zhaoxia is quite sentimental. She was affectionate but also a little melancholy. "When I was a child more than 20 years ago, I was just a tiny little thing. Now I'm all grown up."
"Stop feeling sentimental."
Yu Jinsheng laughed and said, "I haven't finished settling yesterday's score yet. If you have time, you can go and do it."
Why aren't you going?
Zheng Zhaoxia glared at him, then went into the kitchen to start making breakfast. "You two are alike, you don't have the life of an emperor, but you have the disease of one."
Seeing Zheng Zhaoxia start grumbling about him again, Yu Jinsheng smiled smugly.
He's a master at diverting attention.
Nearly two hours later, Yu Mobai parked his car in front of the First Affiliated Hospital of Shengjing Medical University.
This is considered one of the best hospitals in Shengjing City.
"You brought it, right?"
Ji Zhigang suddenly asked a question before getting out of the car.
"I brought it, I brought it. You asked me several times along the way."
Dong Muhong nodded, and the group walked into the hospital.
Watching Yu Mobai running around helping with the registration, she asked softly, "I miss Xiao Ke and Mu Shu a little. Why don't you call them and have them come over?"
"Come here for what?"
Ji Zhigang refused outright, saying, "Wouldn't this just create an opportunity for the three of them to come into contact?"
“Once we get home, who knows how many opportunities the three of them might have.”
Dong Muhong was somewhat dissatisfied, "Do you think you can stop Yu Mobai on your own?"
