The driver slammed on the brakes and parked the rental car in front of the movie theater.
Today isn't a holiday, so there weren't many people watching the 10 PM show.
The few scattered people at the entrance of the movie theater were easily spotted at a glance.
Yu Mobai glanced around and only got out of the car after confirming that he didn't see Dong Yike.
Ji Mushu probably won't arrive so soon; he just hopes he doesn't run into Dong Yike.

Ji Mushu glanced at the time; she was going to be late and miss the start of the show.
She didn't expect that they would both be late for their first "date".
It seems like God played a joke on us; there was an accident on one side and a traffic jam on the other, with everyone stuck on the road.

On the other side, Yu Mobai had just hung up the phone when he received a message from Dong Yike: "How much longer until you get there? I'm already at the cinema."
Yu Mobai: "I estimate we'll have to wait a while. Why didn't you let her choose an earlier session? We just arrived at school because of traffic, and it will take more than half an hour to turn back."
After listening, Dong Yike nodded. She had also encountered a bit of traffic on her way here. "How was I supposed to know what time she chose? She wouldn't even let me go when she bought the tickets."

The horror movie had started playing, and the theater was filled with eerie music.
"You're finally back."
Yan Moxuan grabbed his sleeve, looking nervous, "It's...it's starting."
Are you scared?
Yu Mobai glanced at her and said, "You're scared, yet you watch horror movies."
My roommate said it looks good.
Yan Moxuan said, "It's the one with the biggest breasts."
Yu Mobai's mind conjured up Jiang Xiaoyu's baby face, though it was a little blurry. However, he remembered those two... lumps very clearly.

As soon as the opening credits ended and the main feature began, a direct hit came. Yan Moxuan quickly closed her eyes and reached out her other hand towards Yu Mobai.
