The atmosphere at the dinner table wasn't very lively.

After dinner, Ji Zhigang got drunk and instead of leaving, he started clamoring to play mahjong, determined to win some money from Yu Jinsheng.
"What are you doing? You've had too much to drink. Go home."
Dong Muhong advised.
"No, I'm not going back. It's Chinese New Year today, Lao Yu, what do you say, are we going to have fun or not?"
Yu Jinsheng didn't say anything, but took out a mahjong set from the bedroom. "Mu Hong, why don't you play a game to pass the time during the New Year? You won't have anything to do when you get back anyway."

I never complained about how talkative he was when we were together, but now, his chatter is so annoying.
Ji Mushu said fiercely, "Yu Mobai, can you shut up while watching TV?"
"Damn it, they're talking about me in my own home."
Yu Mobai grumbled in dissatisfaction. Everyone was there, and there was nothing he could do, so he simply found a comfortable spot to let the alcohol take effect.
"Friends should bicker and argue; that's how friendship develops."
Grandma Wang watched this scene with a smile, and then asked Yu Mobai to sit next to Ji Mushu.
