Le Xi answered first: "It was Senior Sister who carried you out with Cui Kaichao and a few other cultivators. When we got there, everything was over. They were still unconscious and hadn't woken up yet, but you were the only one who woke up."
Nian Wanzhou was somewhat surprised.
Cui Kaichao actually saved her? This guy was the one she beat up.
Song Yan chimed in, "It seemed like a complete mess inside. I don't know what happened to you in there, but I saw Wen Ru and her group with dazed expressions as they carried you out. They kept shouting that they would protect you as they came out, and they seemed to be out of their minds."
That was truly terrifying. You didn't make a sound, and there was blood everywhere, leaving a trail of bloody footprints for Wenru and the others. Only when they got closer did they realize you were still breathing.
Nian Wanzhou thought to herself, "So that's how it is. But this is too strange!"
"I don't know why Cui Kaichao also climbed to the ninth floor. It seems he used some kind of magic weapon. I didn't let him pass, and we got into a fight. He actually... rescued me?"
Years later, the boat remained puzzled.
Lexi laughed when she heard this: "Is that so? I guess you saved his life inside, and he saved you to protect himself, and escaped under your protection. Otherwise, no other reason would make sense."
Nian Wanzhou: ......

The Grand Elder nodded in agreement.

And also, I don't know what this bottle of pills is, but I reckon it's something good. Godfather, you take it!
Several storage bags were thrown on the jade bed, bulging and clearly containing many valuable items.
Yuheng was moved to tears. His good daughter was always thinking of him; she was such a sweet little girl!
"Wanwan is so good to me~" he said, then smelled the pill. Oh, he couldn't tell what it was, so he asked the Fourth Elder to take a look.
The Fourth Elder's eyes widened at the smell: "A Soul-Stabilizing Pill, and a top-grade one at that! It can enhance cultivation, calm the mind and soul, strengthen the spirit, reduce the invasion of inner demons, and make advancement easier."
"Little dragon cubs, did you rob the Nine-Story Demon Tower? You've looted all this good stuff!"
