Chapter 53: Depression in the Heart
Jiang Runan took out his cell phone from his pocket and called Xu Yangyang. Just like before, no one answered the call, which made Jiang Runan even angrier.
It seems that Xu Yangyang is really brave and dares to escape from him again and again.
He went straight to the monitoring room and asked the security personnel to turn on the surveillance. Only then did he discover that Xu Yangyang had gone to the operating room.

Xu Yangyang didn't say anything, just sat outside quietly.
Jiang Linan lost his patience and when he was about to touch Xu Yangyang again, the latter dodged him.
This time, Xu Yangyang fixed her gaze on him, and seeing him speak stubbornly, "Jiang Lunnan, don't touch me. My mother is having surgery in there right now. How can I go back and lie down peacefully?"
She really resisted Jiang Runan's touch now, and his appearance only made her feel upset.
"I'm doing this for your own good." Jiang Linan was worried about Xu Yangyang's health, but she didn't take it seriously at all.
"For my own good? If you really want to do this for my own good, then stay away from me and let me go, please." She really wanted to escape from Jiang Runan.

The only people left in the ward were Jiang Linan and Xu Yangyang, who had fainted.
Jiang Runan pulled a chair and sat down next to Xu Yangyang.
He looked at her pale little face and began to reflect, thinking that perhaps he should treat Xu Yangyang in a different way.
Looking back on the past, he found that he had never been gentle towards Xu Yangyang. He felt sorry for her, but the methods he used were always wrong.
Ever since Xu Yangyang stayed by his side, he rarely saw a heartfelt smile on his face.
As he was thinking, Jiang Linan stretched out his hand to touch Xu Yangyang's face, but before he could touch him, he retracted his hand.
What he wanted was very simple. It was enough as long as Xu Yangyang could stay by his side obediently. Jiang Linan stayed by Xu Yangyang's side all night.
The next morning, Xu Yangyang woke up. When she opened her eyes, she saw the familiar ceiling, and her consciousness gradually returned.
Thinking of what happened yesterday, she sat up suddenly.
Jiang Lunnan, who came back from outside, saw Xu Yangyang woke up. A hint of surprise flashed in his eyes, and then he frowned when he saw her movements.
"What do you want?"
"It's none of your business." Xu Yangyang didn't want to say another word to Jiang Linan.
Jiang Linan simply closed the door and asked, "You want to see your mother, right?"
Xu Yangyang remained silent. Jiang Lunnan continued, "Her operation was successful, but you're not in good health right now and need to rest. If you don't believe me, I can call Lin Yiheng over and you can ask him."
Seeing him standing at the door, Xu Yangyang knew she couldn't go out and had to nod. She was really not feeling well and couldn't stand the hardship.
Soon Lin Yiheng came over. He felt very distressed when he saw Xu Yangyang's current appearance. He already knew what happened last night.
"Doctor Lin, how is my mother?" Xu Yangyang asked immediately when she saw him.
"Auntie's operation was successful. She is still in the intensive care unit for the time being. As long as she survives tonight, she can be transferred to the general ward tomorrow." Lin Yiheng said aloud. This is the best outcome for them.
Sure enough, Xu Yangyang's expression eased a lot after hearing these words. This was the best news for her in these days.
"Thank you, Dr. Lin." Xu Yangyang was really grateful to him. If it weren't for him, perhaps her mother would not have been able to get off the operating table so smoothly.
"These are what I should do." Lin Yiheng responded.
