Chapter 25 25. Escape
Finrad's Church.
Since the residents here were relocated, the church has been used as a place to accommodate the wounded, and a group of wounded people who were poisoned by blood were also tied up in separate compartments.
The pastor did not give up on these people, but notified their relatives, hoping that one or two of them could be rescued.

Marvin felt that there was probably no Holy Light magic.

“Marvin, take your sword and go in, and help those who are dying.
I can't abandon these people who can definitely be saved for the sake of the blood poisoning patients who have little hope.

Picking up a soldier's sword from the wall, Marvin returned to the compartment.
There were a few more people going crazy.
When his companions saw him coming back with a sword, they understood what he meant and walked out without being able to bear to watch.
Walking up to a man who was struggling the most violently, Marvin took a deep breath.
He knew this man, the captain of a patrol team. He became like this after accidentally drinking tampered stream water during a mission.

The long sword pierced into the neck, ending the captain's suffering.
Marvin sighed and moved on to the next person.
This is a young female adventurer who was said to have been attacked by a bat while doing a commission.
Half of her eyes were already dyed red, which was a precursor to complete transformation and also the most painful stage.
But she clenched her teeth and didn't scream, just let out muffled groans.
Marvin was so impressed by what he saw.

The person wearing the cloak was naturally Dylan. He didn't pay any attention to what Marvin said. He just looked at his daughter's painful expression with heartache.
He took out the potion with his good right hand and carefully fed it to her.

Bella seemed to be unable to believe that her father would appear at this time, but she still drank it obediently.
As the drug entered her body, Bella felt a tingling pain all over her body.

Dylan stroked her face gently, tears in his eyes.
He finally saved his daughter.
The shouting and screaming outside could hardly be heard. There were not many vampires attacking compared to the soldiers, and they just took advantage of the sneak attack.
The manager here seemed to be quite capable. Before Dylan came in, he had already organized soldiers outside the church, and they formed a team and started to fight back.

Dylan rushed out of the church and looked around, making sure that there was no trace of the vampire and the church was no longer in danger.
He slipped out of the village before the soldiers could fully restore order.
It’s not that he doesn’t want to see his daughter wake up, he’s just afraid.
He moved his left hand which had regained consciousness. The mycelium fused with the flesh and blood at the wound reminded him of the fact that he had already been alienated.
It’s not that he’s afraid his daughter won’t accept him, quite the opposite.
Just as the trainee pastor said, they have a deep father-daughter relationship.
So deep that even if Bella knew that her father had become like this, she would stand by him without hesitation.
And this is exactly what he feared.
It is only a matter of time before his abnormality is discovered, and it is still unknown whether he will live or die when the time comes.
Bella has outstanding talents and a bright future, and Dylan cannot accept that she would destroy that future for himself.
He had to stay away from Bella.
But where can he go now?
Dylan even thought that maybe it would be best for him to find a place to end his life.
But people still desire to have children. He could risk his own life for his daughter. Now that his daughter is safe, he can't bear to sacrifice his own life.
If possible, he also wanted to hide somewhere and occasionally ask about Bella to know whether she was doing well.
