Chapter 154 Fighting

Nan Yuelin reached out to pull Wei Yingling off the rocking horse.

"You, you let go of me." Wei Yingling was in pain from being pulled, but she held on to the rocking horse tightly and refused to let go.

Wei Yingzhen couldn't sit still when he saw his younger brother being bullied, so he quickly ran over.

He knocked Nan Yuelin to the ground.

Wei Yingzhen rushed over to check on her, "Ling'er, are you alright?"

Wei Yingling shook her head, "I'm fine, brother, it just hurts a little."

Nan Yuelin, who was pushed to the ground, seemed stunned at first, unable to come to her senses.

It seemed unbelievable that anyone would dare to touch her.

But once she came to her senses, Nan Yuelin was furious. Pointing at the two people, she said, "I will definitely make my father kill both of you!"

With red eyes, she got up and ran away.

Wei Yingling seemed a little worried, "What should we do, brother?"

He felt a little guilty. Would they blame his brother? If he had given her the rocking horse in the first place, he wouldn't have lost a piece of his flesh. Now, however, he was implicating his brother.

"It's alright, your brother is here," Wei Yingzhen comforted her.

He helped Ling'er down and then led Wei Yingling back home.

Inside the main hall.

Nanlin saw her little darling run back with red eyes and disheveled hair.

Nan Lin's face darkened instantly, and he stood up and picked up Nan Yuelin.

"Lin'er, what's wrong? Who bullied you?" she said, looking at Wei Wangqing.

Wei Wangqing instantly recalled the scene when Nan Xiangyue was pregnant; it was exactly the same.

They blame people without asking right or wrong.

When Nan Yuelin saw her father, the Emperor, she realized that someone was backing her up, and her pent-up resentment instantly returned.

"It was those two brothers. They bullied me and pushed Lin'er down. Waaah!"

Seeing his little princess with tears streaming down her face, Nan Lin felt an overwhelming pang of heartache.

"Lin'er, don't cry. Your father will definitely get justice for you."

Turning his head, his gaze sharp as a sword, he looked at Wei Wangqing and said, "Shouldn't the Northern Emperor give us an explanation?"

Wei Wangqing gave a forced smile, "Isn't the Southern Emperor being too arbitrary? We can't just listen to your daughter's side of the story."

Nan Lin didn't care about any of that. Did his daughter have to tolerate being wronged?

Regardless of whose fault it is, the other party must pay the price.

Before Nan Lin could speak, Nan Xiangyue spoke up, "It's like this, why don't we let the servants tell us what happened at the time, and also the two young princes?"

She also felt sorry for her daughter and believed in her daughter, so she was willing to treat this matter fairly and did not want to be criticized for being unreasonable and abusing her power.

Besides, it's on someone else's turf after all.

"Moon," Nan Lin said somewhat disapprovingly.

Nan Xiangyue glanced at him, and Nan Lin fell silent.

However, justice must be served for my daughter.

Nan Yuelin felt somewhat aggrieved. Why wouldn't her mother help her?

She even spoke up for those two boys; her father, the emperor, was still the best to her.

Wei Yingzhen and Wei Yingling returned first.

The father and daughter glared at them instantly. Nan Yuelin was alright, but the two children couldn't quite handle Nan Lin's imposing aura.

Wei Wangqing quickly shielded the two children behind him, his face turning cold. "Southern Emperor, you'd better put away your arrogance. This is my Great Wei, not your Southern Dynasty."

Nan Xiangyue turned around and glared at Nan Lin. What's wrong with this man?

He always holds her back. Besides, what kind of skill is it to bully two children?

Nan Lin then calmed down a bit, but he still didn't give her a friendly look.

Wei Wangqing looked at the two children and said, "What happened? Tell the Empress."

Wei Yingzhen said directly, "I pushed her."

The anger in Nan Lin's eyes erupted instantly, but this time, it was directed at Wei Wangqing.

"What does the Northern Emperor have to say now? Great Wei really has excellent family upbringing," Nan Lin said sarcastically.

Wei Wangqing frowned. She knew her eldest son well enough to know that he wouldn't do something like this without a reason.

Upon seeing this scene, Wei Yingling burst into tears of fear.

"Mother Queen, it's not my brother, sob sob, it's me."

Wei Wangqing felt heartbroken when she saw Ling'er crying, and quickly hugged her, saying, "Don't cry, Ling'er, it's alright, your mother is here."

He hurriedly said to the people behind him, "What happened? Where are the servants? Let them tell us."

Since they're all just kids and can't explain it clearly, it's always better to let the adults explain it.

"Does the Northern Emperor still want to struggle in his death throes? Your good son has already admitted it."

Nan Yuelin was extremely pleased to see Wei Yingling crying too; this was exactly how it should be.

Anyone who dares to bully her will suffer the consequences!

Wei Wangqing ignored him completely and simply ordered his servants to recount the scene as it happened.

The servant stammered, not daring to speak frankly.

Nan Lin said impatiently, "Just say it directly, what's there to be afraid of?"

That way, she'll be convinced and die knowing why.

The servants then recounted the events of that time in detail.

Nan Xiangyue's face turned extremely ugly after hearing this. She had never known that her daughter was so domineering and arrogant outside.

Nan Xiangyue looked at Nan Yuelin, "Is what they said true?"

Nan Yuelin didn't think there was anything wrong with it. "So what if they are wrong? They were the ones who were wrong. How dare they treat me like this? Mother, you must help me get revenge."

Nan Xiangyue was furious, but when she looked at Nan Lin, who was holding Nan Yuelin, he seemed completely unfazed and didn't think Lin'er had done anything wrong.

I really think the kids have been spoiled by Nanlin.

He shouted sternly, "Get down here!"

"Moon, what are you doing?" Nan Lin asked, somewhat disapproving of his wife's harsh words to their daughter.

Nan Yuelin was also a little scared; she had never seen her mother like this before.

Wei Wangqing, however, did not look at Nan Xiangyue teaching her daughter; she had never doubted her son.

She looked at Ling'er with some concern, "Ling'er, tell your mother, does it still hurt? Where does it hurt?"

Wei Yingling felt much better after being held and comforted by her mother for a while.

"It's alright, Mother, it doesn't hurt anymore."

Wei Wangqing was a little worried, but there were too many people here, and it was not easy to check, so he had to hold back for now.

Looking at the situation here, Nan Xiangyue felt ashamed to face Wei Wangqing.

She was so confident just a moment ago, but now she feels incredibly ashamed.

Lin'er really disappointed her.

Nanjing Forestry University is another example.

Nan Lin panicked when he saw his wife looking at him like that.

They had no choice but to put the child down.

Nan Xiangyue looked at Nan Yuelin and said, "Go apologize to your younger brother."

Nan Yuelin wondered if she had misheard and looked at her mother in disbelief.

Seeing that Nan Yue remained unmoved, Nan Xiangyue suppressed her anger and repeated, "Go apologize."

"No, I don't want that. They should be apologizing to me."

After saying that, he looked to Nanlin for help.

Nan Lin's heart softened instantly when he saw his daughter. "Yue'er, Lin'er is innocent too."

Nan Xiangyue felt that both father and daughter were equally twisted. "Innocent? But Yuelin was the one who made the mistake first. Wasn't it she who spoke rudely first, snatched someone else's toy, and even tried to pull on someone else's child?"
