However, she had to restrain herself somewhat in the Southern Dynasty, but she didn't need to be too tolerant. After all, the two countries were negotiating on equal terms, and it wasn't like their Great Wei was dependent on them.
In truth, it is the Southern Emperor who needs the help of the Great Wei more.
That's right, Wei Wangqing already knew about the Southern Emperor's harassment of the Witch Clan's Holy Maiden when he stepped into the Southern Dynasty.
Her Beggars' Sect had already spread throughout the entire Great Wei Dynasty and had begun to expand into the Southern Dynasty.
Moreover, beggars rarely have any concept of country; as long as they are fed and clothed, they are considered masters.
Gathering information isn't difficult; after all, no one would be wary of a beggar.
The Southern Emperor was traveling incognito when the incident occurred, so if someone wanted to investigate, they would naturally find out.
Wei Wangqing also looked the man up and down, letting him experience that kind of gaze. Just as the man was about to get angry, he said unhurriedly, "He's just a spoiled child. I naturally won't bother with him."
This kind of person must be very angry when someone calls them a child!
Sure enough, Zhang Tongyang sneered: "If I hadn't grown up, wouldn't the Sixth Princess be a little kid?"
She doesn't even care about that; hasn't she returned everything exactly as it was?
Women are petty and calculating.
Ge Fei was practically banging his head on the ground in frustration. This little brat, how did he actually manage to go against the Sixth Princess!
"What I'm referring to is psychological age. Some people may appear to be normal, but they haven't grown up inside. They act recklessly because of their parents' protection and always need others to clean up their messes. Do you think that's what an adult should do?"
"Otherwise, look at Lord Ge, is he like you?"
Suddenly being mentioned, Lord Ge said: Don't mention me, I dare not compare myself to this little tyrant.
Zhang Tongyang was furious, but he was powerless to refute it, because he had indeed done it.
So this is how others see him? Just an immature child?
Zhang Tongyang was somewhat confused.
Wei Wangqing could tell from the person's appearance that there was still hope, and that he was probably not a bad person at heart. Didn't you see him just now punishing evil and promoting good?
It's just that everyone spoils him, which makes him a bit reckless, but he does have the ability to do so, even if it's not his own.
Wei Wangqing had no intention of helping the Prime Minister teach his children, so he stopped interfering.
She wouldn't have retaliated if this person hadn't been so rude to her.
"Lord Ge, aren't you leaving yet?"
"Alright, alright, I'll be going now."
As they spoke, the group turned the corner and headed towards the embassy.
Before leaving, Ge Fei gave Zhang Tongyang a warning look, telling him not to cause any more trouble.
Unfortunately, Zhang Tongyang was completely absorbed in his own thoughts and didn't see it at all.
Lord Ge's good intentions have been wasted.
After arranging for the group to check into the embassy, Ge Fei said to the Sixth Princess, "There is still some time before my coronation ceremony. During this time, Prince Ye of my dynasty, Nan Lin, will be in charge of receiving the Sixth Princess. I hope the Sixth Princess will have a good time in my dynasty."
Happy? Having Prince Ye receive her? What does this Southern Emperor mean by this?
Perhaps the two countries are tired of their alliance and want to become enemies!
With Prince Ye in that state, who could he possibly entertain? I'd be the one entertaining him.
"Let Prince Ye receive me? What about Princess Ye?" After all, they were old acquaintances, and Wei Wangqing still wanted to see Nan Xiangyue, especially since she had been asked to do so by someone else.
"If the Sixth Princess wishes for Prince Ye and Princess Ye to receive her together, that is certainly possible," Lord Ge readily agreed.
"Okay, then let's do it this way."
After Lord Ge left, Wei Wangqing went to see Wu Changming.
He was fiddling with the herbs he had brought.
"Don't cause any trouble while you're in the Southern Dynasty. Keep a low profile, because if something happens, I might not be able to protect you."
"I know, when have I ever caused trouble?"
Wei Wangqing remained noncommittal.
"By the way, could you have someone help me purchase some medicinal herbs from here? I'd like to see if there are any differences."
Wei Wangqing, the free ATM: "Alright, just behave yourself."
"Okay, okay." He said impatiently, shooing them away.
After giving instructions to Li Nuo, Wei Wangqing went back to his room.
On his way to the Southern Dynasty, Wei Wangqing had already ordered people to investigate the power structure of the Southern Dynasty.
It does seem a bit strange.
There's a feeling that there's a third force besides the Southern Emperor and the Prince Ye, but I can't find out anything about it.
Wei Wangqing felt that the Southern Dynasty was somewhat dangerous and wanted to finish things here quickly so he could go back.
After all, she didn't want to get involved in the affairs of the Southern Dynasty.
However, things often don't go as planned.
Wei Wangqing woke up early the next morning. Although she wasn't sensitive to new beds, being in a new place and having something on her mind made it difficult for her to sleep soundly.
But she didn't expect that Prince Ye would get up even earlier than her and arrive so early.
Wei Wangqing was utterly astonished; this was like the sun rising in the west!
"Prince Ye? Why are you here so early?"
Nan Lin gave him a disgruntled look. "If Yue'er hadn't urged me, do you think I would have wanted to come?"
Wei Wangqing was initially chilled by the word "Yue'er," but upon realizing the meaning behind it, he realized that even the hardest iron could be softened by a gentle touch!
Wei Wangqing was rather curious about what it would be like for the two of them to get along.
"Where's Nan Xiangyue? Why didn't she come?"
"Yue'er hasn't been feeling well lately and hasn't gotten up yet." Thinking of this, Nan Lin frowned. Yue'er seemed to be sleeping too much lately.
Well, she wouldn't normally get up this early. I understand.
Wei Wangqing didn't really have anywhere she wanted to go, but since Prince Ye had graced her with his presence, she had to give him some face.
