Before leaving the capital, Vesa suddenly noticed a blood-red barrier rising in the direction of the palace, and Udar happened to be one of the people in the know.
"Before arriving in the capital, I made a deal with the vampires..."
"Wait a minute? But didn't you two get into a huge fight in Dawn City before? Xiao Dai and I were involved!"
Liu Lang looked at Duke Udar in surprise, while Udar shook his head in response.
"It goes even further back. The vampires contacted us on their own initiative because they revealed information about the void. In exchange, we gained access to all of the vampires' whereabouts, including how they entered the capital, which was all arranged by us."
"But if nothing happens in the capital, wouldn't your actions be like inviting a wolf into the house?"
Vessa asked him incredulously.
"If nothing else is wrong, I will report it to His Majesty the Emperor, or have the Empire's powerful warriors launch a siege. Otherwise, why would I voluntarily enter the palace?"
Before leaving the capital city, Udar thought for a moment and then tossed the twenty Void Stones aside.
Hopefully this will work...
"Wait! We're trapped inside the Twin Array's barrier and can't get out."
Hernand tried to forcefully break through, but the force he applied had no effect whatsoever. Everyone's hearts sank; it seemed that none of them were particularly skilled at breaking the formation.
"Leave it to me."
Udar took the initiative to demonstrate to everyone the power of the Void.
With just a gentle move, he broke the barrier of the Twin Array!
That's terrifying destructive power...
This sentence came to everyone's mind without prior arrangement.
If that's the kind of power, it's no wonder those void creatures are so strong.
Not long after they left, the entire capital city's Void Realm erupted in chaos. The Archmage retreated in disarray back to Sagaros's side, his face grim as he looked at the crimson barrier.
What's going on inside?
"I don't know. With my current strength, I simply cannot force open this barrier. I need time."
Sagalos didn't know what was going on inside, but the capital city was shaking like it was experiencing a magnitude 10 earthquake. No matter where you stood, it was constantly shaking. The Twin Barrier and the Void Domain Seal were also flickering, and they had lost their power to seal off the city. This gave the people trapped in the city a glimmer of hope for survival!
"Hmm? Ninth Princess?"
The Archmage suddenly heard Veroshia's call, which was made through the necklace he had given her. Was it something urgent?
"Grand Master! The capital city is detaching from the earth and flying into the sky! Are you still in the capital city? We saw a purple vortex in the sky outside, can you see it?"
