There was hardly anyone as alone as him in the lantern market. The lantern light cast shadows of varying depths on his handsome and gentle features. Many unmarried young women glanced at him shyly, then whispered complaints to their companions in their soft, melodious Wu dialect: "What kind of girl is so heartless? How could she bear to leave such a handsome man behind!"
Qin Ye had excellent hearing and heard it clearly. He couldn't help but shake his head and laugh—how could he be considered a "handsome man"?
It's just a pretty face.
Suddenly, Qin Ye sensed something deep within him, and he looked to his right—
In the dim light, a young woman with an elegant updo adorned with pigeon-blood red gemstones, wearing a water-red dress and a snow-white shawl half-draped over her arm, her left cheek partially covered by a silver mask, revealing only her beautiful and radiant right cheek, with a lotus-shaped flower decoration on her forehead and rouge on her lips, looked every bit the beautiful and elegant noblewoman.
She was looking at him with a smile, waving and saying, "Qin Lang!"
Qin Ye was stunned for a moment, and unconsciously opened his arms. When he came to his senses and wanted to laugh at himself, the beautiful woman lifted her skirt and ran towards him, then threw him into her arms.
Qin Ye couldn't help but tighten his arms around her, but he quickly came to his senses, let go, and gently straightened her clothes, saying with a helpless smile, "Your Majesty, so many people are watching."
The two stood at the entrance of the lantern market, surrounded by a magnificent and bustling scene of lights and fireworks.

Under the lamplight, Li Langhuan's beauty became even more striking, yet also more approachable—the woman he admired was right in front of him, smiling at him and calling him "Qin Lang." Qin Ye, as if possessed, raised his hand to touch Li Langhuan's face, but quickly came to his senses and instead tucked her hair behind her ear.
But he still said gently, "Huan Niang."
Li Langhuan responded crisply, "Yes!"
Qin Ye was amused, and his heart felt as if it were filled with something warm and gentle. With a smile in his eyes, he called out again, "Huan Niang."
Li Langhuan replied with a smile, "I'm here."
With a restrained smile on his face, Qin Ye took Li Langhuan's hand and led her into the lantern market.
Li Langhuan tiptoed and leaned close to his ear, as if she wanted to say something. Qin Ye stopped and lowered his head slightly.
Unexpectedly, Li Langhuan cupped his hands around his ears and then gently placed a kiss on his earlobe.
It felt like fireworks exploding in his heart—Qin Ye was led forward by Li Langhuan in a daze, and heard Li Langhuan say with a smile, "Qin Lang, I like you so much."
Qin Ye tightened his grip on Li Langhuan's hand, remained silent for a moment, and his slightly flushed cheeks betrayed his shyness; he said softly, "I also love Huanniang very much."
