Chapter 187 Green Water Town is Bombed

Xie Huayin felt a wave of dizziness and difficulty breathing, as if she was about to suffocate.

Shang Shaoyan continued, "Teacher Xie, would you like to know the last piece of good news?"

Xie Huayin stared coldly at Shang Shaoyan, wanting to strangle her—but knowing that Shang Shaoyan was highly skilled in martial arts, she knew she would likely not get the better of him, so she forced herself to endure it.

Xie Huayin struggled to sit down, glanced weakly at Shang Shaoyan, and forced a smile, saying, "Go on."

She now realizes that what Shang Shaoyan called "good news" was good in her opinion, but when applied to herself, it was clearly "bad news."

Shang Shaoyan ignored Xie Huayin's complicated thoughts and sighed, "The fourth piece of good news—Green Water Town has been bombed."

Xie Huayin: "...?"

How did it explode?

Is it the kind of "explosion literature" where you "declared yourself emperor, and the whole town of Greenwater was in an uproar"?

Seeing Xie Huayin's bewildered expression, Shang Shaoyan couldn't help but laugh: "It really exploded—I tested the gunpowder yesterday, and after settling the people of Green Water Town, I blew up Green Water Town!"

Xie Huayin: "..."

She had difficulty breathing, her finger trembling as she pointed at Shang Shaoyan, and she almost fainted.

Shang Shaoyan still felt it wasn't enough, so he added, "Ah, actually there's still some stuff left... a lot of dust left!"

Xie Huayin finally broke down.

She roared, "That's a time-travel station I've been building for years! How could you do this?"

Shang Shaoyan waved his hand, dismissing all his entourage.

Xie Huayin calmed down, looked at Shang Shaoyan who was not surprised at all, and suddenly smiled bitterly: "You knew all along."

Shang Shaoyan nodded, looking at his newly applied nail polish with a somewhat casual expression: "Yes... I've been suspicious ever since you first told me about Green Water Town."

She paused, then gave a short laugh, looking at Xie Huayin with some pity: "You and Feng Xu came here to fulfill your own ambitions, didn't you? Your transmigration station was very successful, but unfortunately I blew it up—I have no objection to your rebellion, that position is meant for the capable, but your attempt to bring firearms here will only cause widespread destruction, something I absolutely cannot allow to happen."

Xie Huayin looked at Shang Shaoyan with a somewhat embarrassed expression and said sarcastically, "What right do you have to talk to me like that? You left Nan Chen to prepare to attack Bei Zhou, didn't you? What you did was also a disregard for human life."

Shang Shaoyan didn't say anything, but simply raised his hand and slapped Xie Huayin across the face.

She used half her strength this time, and Xie Huayin coughed up blood, staggered and fell to the ground, raising her eyes to stare at Shang Shaoyan with hatred.

“I am different from you,” Shang Shaoyan sneered. “You and Feng Xu chose to travel to this time and space, while my brother and I were forced to. Similarly, you and Feng Xu actively plotted to rebel because of twisted ambitions, while my brother and I did it to protect ourselves.”

At this point, Shang Shaoyan laughed: "You see yourself as a player, this era as a game, and the ancient people as NPCs. You have never truly integrated into this world. You deserve to lose, because you are destined not to become emperor. Water can carry a boat, but it can also capsize it. Without the support of the people, how can you secure your rule?"

Xie Huayin clenched her fists, feeling as if Shang Shaoyan had ripped away her fig leaf, and she felt utterly humiliated.

Shang Shaoyan was right.
