Chapter 173 Something is pulling me

Having said what needed to be said, Mo Shuwan didn't linger any longer. She stood up and started walking down the slope, with Wen Zuo following closely behind. Liu Dongcheng didn't hesitate either and followed her directly. The other passengers looked longingly at the Milky Way in the distance. Although they were really unwilling, their lives were more important no matter what, so they hurriedly chased after Mo Shuwan down the mountain.

The group walked to a place at least a thousand meters away from the Milky Way. Looking at the dense dinosaur-like plants not far away, Mo Shuwan took a deep breath and said, "Get ready. You all need to run as soon as I fire."

The passengers nodded nervously.

Mo Shuwan aimed ahead and pulled the trigger abruptly. She didn't care at all what the consequences of the shell would be. The moment she turned around, she immediately took off running, and the other passengers, who were prepared, followed immediately.

A deafening roar erupted, and the ground trembled more and more violently, as if countless dinosaurs and plants were chasing after them. However, the roars soon became chaotic.

As other dinosaurs and plants arrived one after another, they blocked the path of the pursuers. The irritable creatures attacked those who blocked their way without explanation, and the scene that should have been harmonious instantly turned into chaos.

The group, now temporarily out of danger, stopped and leaned against a tree trunk, panting heavily.

"Look! It's silver rain!"

As the passengers gasped in surprise, Mo Shuwan noticed that the sounds of the dinosaurs fighting had suddenly disappeared, and she turned to look in the direction of the active volcano.

At that moment, silvery rain began to fall around the active volcano. After staring at it for a while, it suddenly dawned on me that the rain was glowing. Otherwise, how could I have seen it so clearly when it was already so dark?

Just then, a small dinosaur passed by. The passenger who just brushed past it was startled and instinctively threw a punch. Unexpectedly, the dinosaur seemed to be frightened and dodged away, then slowly walked around them towards the active volcano.

The passenger, still clenching his fist, was dumbfounded. "What... what's going on? Has my fist become that powerful?"

"Come on, stop overthinking it. It has nothing to do with you."

Liu Dongcheng, who had been silent all along, suddenly suggested, "Let's go find a few more dinosaurs to attack."

After he finished speaking, he turned around and went to find his target, and at this moment, there was precisely no shortage of targets.

Liu Dongcheng returned in less than ten minutes. "Rather than saying they were hiding, it's more accurate to say we couldn't attack them. The moment I swung my knife, they already knew where I was going to strike." He paused, then added in a low voice, "I didn't hit them once."

Mo Shuwan was stunned. "Could it be that the sudden appearance of the silver rain affected the creatures here?"

"What's the meaning?"

“When we left just now, a war was clearly breaking out, but after the silver rain appeared, all the sounds of battle disappeared. Listen, there is no longer any ferocity in these roars now.”

Liu Dongcheng's expression shifted slightly. "Are they excited?"

A few passengers didn't quite understand, nor could they tell that the dinosaur roars were any different, but they still grasped the general meaning. "Captain, do you mean that the dinosaurs can't attack each other now, and we can't attack them either?"

Mo Shuwan nodded hesitantly.

Cai Zhongqi suddenly became excited, "Then they shouldn't be able to attack us, right?! Our chance has come!"

Mo Shuwan frowned. "Even so, it's not that simple."

"It would be good to go and see what's going on."

Mo Shuwan turned to look at Liu Dongcheng, then at the other passengers, "You all think so too?" Seeing them nod, she looked helplessly at Wen Zuo, who hadn't yet expressed his opinion, "What about you? Do you also think we should go and take a look?"

Surprisingly, Wen Zuo did not agree with Mo Shuwan this time, but nodded, thinking that it was also worth a look.

Seeing this, Cai Zhongqi quickly advised, "Captain, let's go take a look. It's such a good opportunity. What if we can catch a few silver fish? Besides, this is the main quest. If we don't complete the main quest, we might be in big trouble."

Mo Shuwan sighed, convinced by Cai Zhongqi's explanation. Yes, this wasn't a side quest, but a main quest, and unlike the fixed survival main quest, which meant dying long before completion and having no other choice, this main quest...

Now that she had the chance, she figured she should give it a try, and Mo Shuwan couldn't refuse.

The group returned and tried to attack any dinosaurs they passed along the way, but naturally they were unsuccessful.

They were much slower than the dinosaurs. By the time they arrived, the area that Mo Shuwan had cleared with guns and cannons had been filled with strange dinosaurs and plants again. Fortunately, they could squeeze in without any problem.

The dinosaurs around them lowered their heads and looked at them. Although they did not attack, being stared at made everyone feel a chill run down their spines.

A group of people squeezed to the front, only half an arm's length away from the Milky Way. Only when they got there did they realize that the silver rain flowed from the Milky Way into the sky and then fell back into the Milky Way, with not a single drop falling outside the Milky Way.

This bizarre cycle made Mo Shuwan even more vigilant.

The surrounding dinosaurs gradually quieted down, and everyone stood nervously in the middle of the group of dinosaurs, not daring to make any rash moves, until they saw silver fish as long as half an adult's arm.

Those silverfish looked quite ordinary; from their appearance, it was impossible to tell what made them worthy of 10,000 points.

As the silverfish leaped out of the water, the surrounding creatures became noticeably excited, letting out a series of loud roars. Cai Zhongqi and the others excitedly took a few more steps forward, while Mo Shuwan subconsciously took a step back.

"Don't go over there!"

But the silverfish was right in front of them. Spurred by the 10,000 points, Cai Zhongqi and the others subconsciously took another half step forward. As they reached out to grab the silverfish that occasionally leaped out of the water, Mo Shuwan, Wen Zuo, and Liu Dongcheng, who were standing still, suddenly felt a chill run down their spines.

The three of them looked up abruptly and saw that all the dinosaurs around them had turned to look at them. Even though they didn't attack them, the feeling of unease grew stronger and stronger.

Mo Shuwan shouted breathlessly, "Come back!"

Thump—

"Cai Zhongqi!"

"hiss!"

"I'm fine, I caught a silverfish!" Cai Zhongqi stood up from the water holding a silverfish. Only then did everyone realize that the Milky Way was not deep, only up to an adult's chest. But soon, the bright smile on Cai Zhongqi's face twisted and was replaced by pain.

Mo Shuwan took half a step forward and snapped, "Come on up!"

Cai Zhongqi panicked and lunged onto the shore. Several passengers standing on the bank immediately grabbed his arms to pull him up, but as soon as they started to exert force, Cai Zhongqi, who was gritting his teeth and holding on, let out a terrified scream.

"Yes, something is pulling me!"
