Chapter 265 Weapons are available

Whether it was because the test mentioned by the mysterious person was over or not, Mo Shuwan walked back into the maze without any accidents along the way. She found a room, took out all twelve map fragments she had, and squatted down to carefully piece them together.

It took Mo Shuwan a full half hour to barely piece together the twelve map fragments. She took out paper and pen and drew out the main roads before she began to study the map.

Half an hour later, Mo Shuwan put away the map fragments, stood up and left the room. According to the map, she was now on the third-to-last line near the maze exit. As long as she found the entrance to the next line and crossed it, she would soon be able to leave the maze completely.

But Mo Shuwan hesitated for only half a minute before deciding to return to the second route. She needed to go back and see if the monster that resembled Wen Zuo was still in that room, and she also needed to find Liu Dongcheng.

Little did she know that she was now the only one left in the entire maze, and everyone, including the monsters, had reappeared at the gambling table.

Covered in wounds, Wen Zuo gasped for breath, staring at his feet for a long time before finally coming to his senses.

Chen Chen, standing next to Wen Zuo, looked even more miserable. He turned his head and stared at the empty space on his left hand, his eyes as gloomy as water. Luo Jin was dead, killed by Lin Guaiji who dug out his heart.

When Wen Zuo came to his senses, he saw Chen Chen's wrinkled and emaciated body, and his eyes darkened. "I'm sorry."

Chen Chen withdrew his gaze and sighed, "It's not your fault. You were trying to protect Mo Shuwan back then, but I..."

Mo Shuwan guessed correctly; the monster hugging the sapling was indeed Wen Zuo. However, Wen Zuo and the others had no memory of it at the time; back then, they were just irrational and emotionless monsters.

At the gambling table, Qin Liu clenched his fists upon seeing Chen Chen's miserable state. Then, noticing the empty seat next to him, he lost control of his emotions and slammed his fist on the table.

"Squad leader, aren't you going to tell us the truth now?"

Qin Liu suppressed the complex emotions in his heart, "I will tell you."

Aside from Qin Liu and Wan Sheng, who were lost in their own thoughts, the other surviving passengers looked at Lin Guaiji with amusement. Everyone thought he would win, but who knew that in the end he not only failed to win, but was also exposed along with them. The reward game had not been declared over, which meant that Mo Shuwan, the only one who had not yet returned, was still in the reward game.

Everyone else came out except her, so wouldn't she end up pocketing all the rewards?

Lin Guaiji himself showed no unusual behavior; his expression was calm, as if he didn't take the matter to heart at all.

"Are we just going to wait for her to come out like this?"

"That's how it seems now."

Zhou Quansheng yawned as he lay on the table. If he had known he would be sent back directly, he should have stayed there and waited to be sent away, which would have saved him some energy.

Time passed slowly, and Mo Shuwan, having searched every part of the maze without finding any people or monsters, had to give up the search. In the past few hours, she had collected a map of the entire maze, and now she was heading in the correct direction, referring to the map.

The passageway connects to a huge door.

Mo Shuwan frowned and glanced behind her. With a worried heart, she walked towards the door. When she was only a few steps away from the door, a line of black characters appeared in the air in front of her.

'Congratulations on being the first gambler to pass through the maze. You can now choose a reward.'

"There really is a reward?" Mo Shuwan looked at the three lucky bags that appeared in front of her in surprise. Since there were no hints on the outside of the lucky bags, she randomly chose one.

The other two lucky bags disappeared. Mo Shuwan lowered her head, opened the lucky bag, and reached in to take out the slip of paper inside.

You can use weapons.

Upon seeing this line, Mo Shuwan smiled. Being able to use weapons should be a great help in the upcoming betting games. It was just a pity that she couldn't use medicine yet. She hoped that Wen Zuo and Liu Dongcheng would both be fine and wouldn't need medicine.

Holding the withered sapling in one arm, she stepped out of the gate. A blinding white light made her instinctively close her eyes. To prevent monsters or anything else from ambushing her after she went out, she drew her fire-attribute longsword at the same time.

Having waited for two or three hours, the passengers, whose anger was rising, swallowed their rage when they saw the weapon in Mo Shuwan's hand.

Damn! That's going too far!

Mo Shuwan opened her eyes and saw a familiar scene, then sheathed her fire-attribute longsword.

She was carrying the sapling back to her seat when she noticed out of the corner of her eye that Wen Zuo called out once, then again. She couldn't help but take two steps toward Wen Zuo, not expecting that the rules of the game wouldn't stop her.

He quickened his pace and walked over, saying, "I just encountered a monster that looked a lot like you."

Wen Zuo let out a weak, low growl.

Mo Shuwan reached out to pick a leaf, "These leaves should help you recover."

Wen Zuo turned his head away from the leaves Mo Shuwan was feeding him, and tilted his head towards Chen Chen. Only then did Mo Shuwan see Chen Chen's withered body, which was almost unrecognizable as a beast. After hesitating for a moment, she turned around and fed the leaves to Chen Chen.

Looking at the sapling that Mo Shuwan was holding in her arms, Chen Chen finally understood why he was still alive.

Mo Shuwan had given Zhou Quansheng several leaves, some of which were so withered that they were practically dead. There weren't many leaves left, and after feeding Chen Chen five leaves, she felt a pang of heartache.

She stopped and said softly, "I'm sorry, Wen Zuo is still injured, I can't give you any more."

"roar……"

Mo Shuwan picked the remaining leaves to feed Wen Zuo, but Wen Zuo shook her head desperately and refused, even pushing Mo Shuwan's hand away with her head, clearly telling her to give them to Chen Chen.

"But……"

"Give it to Shuwan; it's his fate."

To Mo Shuwan, it sounded like the roars of beasts. She knew Wen Zuo wouldn't do this for no reason, but she couldn't bear to give all the good medicine to someone else.

Qin Liu, who was sitting at the gambling table, couldn't help but stand up.

Under Wen Zuo's repeated urging, Mo Shuwan sighed, "Alright, give them all to him." After saying that, she picked all the leaves and stuffed them into Chen Chen's mouth. Seeing that Chen Chen's body had visibly regained its vitality, she felt a pang of heartache.

Without any leaves from the sapling, Wen Zuo could only be given recovery potions. This time, Wen Zuo didn't refuse and obediently let her feed him several bottles.

Although his condition was still not very good and his injuries had not been healed, at least Chen Chen's body was no longer in a state of being frail and old.

Chen Chen lowered his head and said weakly, "Thanks."

Watching Mo Shuwan return to her seat, Wen Zuo looked away and shook his head. "It was originally yours, and besides... I took it from you."
