What's even more terrifying is that the bead Zheng Shanhe gave them can only last for one day. If Mo Shuwan and the others' souls fail to return to their bodies after one day, their wounds will worsen, eventually leading to physical death. What will happen to their souls is anyone's guess.
In just a few minutes, Yun Chen managed to extract the black energy from the remaining passengers' injuries. He disdainfully dispersed the black energy, grabbed Luo Baokun who was overjoyed and wanted to thank him, and coldly wiped his fingers on Luo Baokun's clothes.
Luo Baokun's words of thanks caught in his throat. He glared at Yun Chenjing with suppressed anger, frantically telling himself in his heart that he absolutely must not make a move.
"The captain and the others have stopped! Phew, thank goodness."
Chen Jiaxu's surprised voice drew the attention of the others away from the team members. They vaguely sensed that it had indeed stopped. They couldn't actually see anything concretely, but they had a slight feeling after signing the contract.
"It's not too far yet, let's hurry up and leave before they are moved again."
"Um."
Everyone quickly carried their teammates back on their backs. Wen Zuo turned to look at Liu Dongcheng's body, who was being carried by Chen Jiaxu, and noticed that the wound on his forehead had worsened to the center of his brow. He couldn't help but frown and quickly walked to Zheng Shanhe's side. "I need another one of those beads. I'm open to an equal exchange or a conditional exchange."
Zheng Shanhe said coldly, "First, I hired you to protect me, not the other way around. Second, the beads you mentioned are very expensive. Even I can't get many of them. I only managed to take out five just now, which was my limit. I can't give you all my life-saving items."
It was clear from Zheng Shanhe's attitude that he was genuinely angry. Wen Zuo could understand his dissatisfaction, but Liu Dongcheng's injury was on his forehead. If it continued to worsen, his body would die soon.
Therefore, he could only lower his stance and continue to plead, "I'm sorry I didn't fulfill my duty to protect you. As long as you're willing to give us another bead, you can ask for anything within our capabilities."
"You? You can make decisions on behalf of everyone in your team?"
Liu Dongcheng walked to Wen Zuo's side, frowned, and said, "I'm fine."
He didn't want to see his teammates, whom he could entrust with his back, having to beg others for his sake.
Before Wen Zuo could speak, Chen Jiaxu rushed forward and said angrily, "You're fine my ass! Look at the injury on your forehead! If it gets any worse, you'll lose your head!"
The Chen family had already said what they wanted to say, so Wen Zuo ignored Liu Dongcheng beside him and shook his head at Zheng Shanhe, "I can't make the decision for them, but they won't object to this decision."
Chen Jiaxu quickly replied, "I agree."
Liu Dongcheng opened his mouth, sighed, and didn't say anything more that he didn't need to say.
After a moment of silence, Zheng Shanhe turned to look at Yun Chenjing standing to the side, narrowed his eyes, and said, "He agrees too?"
Yun Chen said indifferently, "I agree."
So Wen Zuo had another bead in his hand, which he put into Liu Dongcheng's mouth before he was completely at ease.
After the basic problems were resolved, the group continued their journey. Wen Zuo, Chen Jiaxu, and Liu Dongcheng expressed their gratitude to Yun Chen, but to their surprise, Yun Chen looked at them strangely and said matter-of-factly, "We're all in this together, so of course we should stick together. Why are you thanking me?"
After a moment of stunned silence, Wen Zuo laughed, "You're right, we're a team, and we should stick together no matter what we do."
After following the indigenous people through many twists and turns for more than an hour, Mo Shuwan and her group finally arrived at their destination. They were led to a place that could be called a square. The reason they were able to recognize this place as a huge square was thanks to a group of indigenous people standing around them.
There were so many people that I didn't know exactly how many.
With so many people standing around, I really can't think of anywhere else besides the square where we could all fit.
After a commotion, Mo Shuwan saw a girl in a black gauze dress being surrounded in front of her. The first thing she noticed was that the girl's ears were slightly longer than those of the other natives and seemed to be more transparent.
“This is our clan chief.”
"Hello."
The girl stood two meters away from Mo Shuwan and the others, and bowed to them. "I heard that a new race has appeared on this land. I am glad to meet you, and I am also sorry that you have encountered such a calamity at the very beginning of your existence."
Mo Shuwan silently looked at the other person. She didn't speak, and neither did Qu Dan and the others, letting this native imagine whatever he wanted.
"But I understand that your birth may be the very redemption of this land."
"You mean we can collect black crystals, which are the source of darkness?" Mo Shuwan finally answered.
"Yes, we have been searching for the answer to the split of the Dark Source, but unfortunately, we still haven't found the answer before the catastrophe is about to come. And now you have appeared. We implore you to save this land, collect enough Dark Source as soon as possible, and repair the core of the world."

Main Quest 2: Collect the Dark Essence
Main Quest 3: Help the Dark Eldar repair the World Core
The sudden triggering of two main quests startled the four of them. They immediately looked at the natives in front of them and found that they did not seem to have noticed the sound that came when the quests were triggered.
Mo Shuwan said, "Of course, we will collect the Dark Source as quickly as possible, but we need your help. Our other people have been separated from us, and we hope to reunite them with your help. Only in this way can we collect the Dark Source faster."
